GossipCop Here comes another Famous magazine gem. The tab from Down Under tries to “put one over” on everyone with a priceless piece on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Twilight’s leading couple “beamed from ear to ear” during their happy trip to last week’s People’s Choice Awards (tell that to HollywoodLife), and the magazine thinks it knows why – Pattinson and Stewart are supposedly engaged. What, you missed the news?
According to Famous, the events behind Robsten’s “big secret” engagement began after Stewart “spent Christmas Eve kicking up her heels on a boozy night out” with Garrett Hedlund – an evening that never actually happened, as Gossip Cop has reported.
To appease a purportedly “disappointed” Pattinson, Stewart made an “emergency dash” to the UK “to smooth things over.” That’s when Pattinson allegedly “gave her an ultimatum,” says a Famous “source,” basically demanding that Stewart marry him to show that she’s serious about their relationship. The magazine claims Stewart accepted. So that’s how Famous digs itself into a giant hole, reporting that Pattinson and Stewart are engaged when sources assure Gossip Cop they are not.
Here’s how Famous tries to climb out of the hole: “But don’t expect a big announcement any time soon!” declares the tab. Pattinson and Stewart are planning “to keep things under wraps for a while,” explains a so-called “insider.” Yes, how convenient. “The whole engagement was a very spur-of-the moment thing,” adds Famous. “Rob didn’t even have time to buy Kristen a ring.”
To recap: Pattinson allegedly gave Stewart a marriage ultimatum after an event that never happened over Christmas, she accepted, and the reason they looked so happy during the People’s Choice Awards was because of this “secret” engagement that no one is allowed to discuss and which happened so quickly there’s not even a ring. It must be easy to write about Famous people when reality isn’t an issue.
This is quite funny because there are also rags that claim that Rob and Kristen broke up. Too much fiction in just one day, a not-so amusing Monday indeed.

I love when theres an awards show or event of some short that starts these type of rumors. One magazine says "they were fighting all week and ended up breaking up" and then the other one claims "they got engages two weeks ago!"
Its hilarious really but if they are going to do it, Id rather they spread rumors of a engagement. Because well all know that this will never stop.

Don't worry...There are lots of awards show lining up for them. We have GGlobes and BAFTA in the near future. Let's just see what those BS have for us.

These magazines are hilarious. One is claiming they broke up, that's why they looked so awkward and guarded at the PCA's, another one is claiming they got engaged, that's why they were so happy and smiling at the PCA's. Hahaha, this is too funny!
One time during the summer of 2010 right before Eclipse came out I saw one rag mag said Robert and Kristen broke up. That it was Kristen that broke his heart.
Then right next to that magazine was another that said they were engaged.

Also Angelina Jolie said she noticed a patteren with her rag stories. She said it ALWAYS went:
Her and Brad are fighting, her and Brad broke up, her and Brad are engaged, her and Brad are expecting another baby, and back to her and Brad broke up again.
She's right! It's always in that order.
I noticed the same with Rob and Kristen.
They are "broken up" NOW, but I promise you there will be engagment stories out in a week or two. (I already read one. Haha!)

LMAO!!!! With the amount of rag mags claiming certain stories about Rob and Kristen, they could drop the bomb that they are together and no one would even notice. Everyone would be scrabbling to see if that was true. If they do confirm the majority of the fans would say: "Really? Noooo!"
If I was them I would be spreading those rumors just for fun to see who would believe it.
It's funny because before I became a follower of them both, I would buy these magazines regularly in fact every week and read from cover to cover all the celebrity gossip, and never once doubted any of the articles, but now I don't buy any or read any, or believe any headlines. In fact I think

I made the mistake of reading the one where they had broken up. I couldn't believe what a fool I was for believing that story. My friends on the other R/K site had to calm me down and tell me that the story was bogus. I should have realized anytime a rag writes about R/K positive or negative,it's usually BS. I'm sure the haters were ready to party,when they saw the break up story,only to see that Gossip Cop had debunked the story. It's been a slow news week.
opppppsss.. They did it again! LOLZZZzzzzzz... Rags and another rags, and another. I can imagine Robsten saying,"fuck you if you put our relationship in the spotlight! Its not for PR and specially NOT FOR SALE!" Yeah, that's most likely how they respond to unfounded accusations like using their personal relationship to sell their movies. We probably see them copulating ..err loveydovey on stage after 2012. Remember that interview of Kristen that she promised to talk no holes barred after the showing of breaking dawn parts 1&2? I will not be surprised if in that interview she raises up her left hand and say, "Fuck! This is it! " boom yada! Yada! LOL!

6:24- omg! the time that rumor that stated kristen was pregnant came out the same time i was pregnant. one article figured she got pregnant in may 2009. that was the same time my doctor figured i got pregnant. (my due date was 2/18/2010.) there were still rag magazines saying she was pregnant months after. i was like, "if she was pregnant we'd be giving birth around the same time."
haha! that rumor will come again soon i'm sure.
my bff said she hopes they are either married, or expecting by the red carpet priemere of breaking dawn part two.

It is getting so old that these online sites start this same rumor pretty much once a week - it is like every Monday they are bored and start it up all over again. So tired of it. I was googling just to find good info and nothing but garbage about "breaking up" again so just closed out of it after that.
The fiction writers are having a heyday today, aren't they....I agree, S, not amusing.

I feel so bad for them or any other actors under the scrutiny of gossip mags and to think people believe them and so glad we got someone like GC to debunk these rumors.
You guys know why they do this dontcha'? Because Rob and Kristen are one of the most famous and popular couples in the world (declared or not) and they NEED them in order to peddle their shit. But they got a problem. There is no drama or scandal surrounding these two (they go to work, they go home, they go out to eat, they hang with friends...real exciting stuff there) and THAT is what sells and so...they gotta create it. Some drama and/or scandal. And for those of us who know what all of this is about...we sniff at it and go on with our day. But for those who don't, who actually buy into it...well, I dunno. There's not much you can do with stupid, is there?

If we can all have a go at predicting when they're gonna tie the knot or have a baby I predict it's gonna happen when BD dies down and they both finish another movie or two. I'm sure they're not gonna do it while the Twilight craze is still on, for the sake of (Kristen's) principles if nothing else. Oh, and there will be no breaking up in the meantime lol
