I've been reading lots of comments/questions about this, so I'm posting GossipCop 's take on the matter.

“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: Forbidden To Be Together In Public,” reads the headline of a story from HollywoodLife.  According to the webloid, “Rob was noticeably absent” from the premiere of Paul McCartney’s new music video, “My Valentine,” which Stewart attended, “but it wasn’t because [Pattinson] didn’t want to be there.”

The facts-challenged site reports that Pattinson and Stewart “have a clause in their Twilight contracts that they can only appear together at a Twilight themed red carpet together. Twilight kind of owns some of their appearances they do together until Breaking Dawn is 100% completed.”

“It’s too bad work is keeping the couple from going out together,” chimes in the bad blog, adding, “but we totally understand!”

Unfortunately, HollywoodLife understands virtually nothing. The claims that Pattinson and Stewart “have a clause in their Twilight contracts that they can only appear together at a Twilight themed red carpet together” is 100 percent nonsense and patently untrue.

The couple simply doesn’t market their private relationship publicly on red carpets. “There is no such agreement,” confirms a source involved in Twilight to Gossip Cop.

Contrary to online rumors, 'Breaking Dawn' star has no plans to drop an LP, rep confirms to MTV News.  His legions of hopeful fans will be sad to hear it, but despite reports and rumors to the contrary, Robert Pattinson is not recording an album.

On Tuesday (September 20), Us Weekly reported that the "Twilight" superstar was itching to record his own songs, but according to the magazine's two sources, he felt torn between his acting commitments and his love of music. The story further alleged that the 25-year-old would be putting together a guitar-based record in the next few weeks, before the promotional tour for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" kicks into gear.

MTV News reached out to Pattinson's rep, who told us, "The report is untrue. He is not working on an album right now."
Of course, that is not to say Pattinson might not record music someday — he has previously recorded "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign" for the original "Twilight" soundtrack — but it's not happening now.

When we caught up with "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon at Comic-Con, he confirmed that there would be some familiar musical themes weaved into the fourth film, courtesy of composer Carter Burwell, who scored the first movie. And while the director would not confirm Pattinson's inclusion on the soundtrack, he hinted that some of the musically inclined castmembers might lend their talents.
"We're just figuring out [the soundtrack] now," Condon said during MTV News' "Breaking Dawn" Comic-Con takeover. "We have a lot of [songs]. We have like 15, I think."

Pattinson frequently had hotel room jam sessions with other Twilight pals while shooting the flicks in Vancouver and elsewhere. His Twilight costar (and fellow musician) Jackson Rathbone said Kristen Stewart's man "loves to play the blues. He can hold his own on a guitar. We enjoyed jamming together when we had the time. Very humble and quiet guy.

"Music is his first love!" says the second source. "He's tortured because he avoids it. When he's sitting around jamming in the studio, it's his favorite moment of life."  To prep for the recording session, the guitar player has been "studying on on other instruments -- like piano and horns," the first source reveals. "It's an obsession for him."

RollingStone already picked up the story. "As of yet, it's unclear what label will release the music or when it will hit stores." via cupidscloud

GossipCop Robert Pattinson is the subject of a new casting rumor that claims he’s slated to play King Arthur in Pendragon.

Outlets like HollywoodLife quickly circulated the report, saying Pattinson’s “allegedly been tapped to play the lead” in the Camelot reboot and describing it as “a historical epic similar in tone to Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and the Huntsman!”

“We’re sure K-Stew… could give her boyfriend a few pointers about how to shoot a medieval epic!” shrieks the site, which apparently believes that any old tales turned into Disney cartoons at some point are practically the same thing.

Unfortunately for HollywoodLife (as well as Pattinson fans eager for post-Cosmopolis project news), there’s no truth to the Pendragon rumor.

A source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop the story is “inaccurate.”

GossipCop With the imminent arrival of Water for Elephants in theaters, there will be a spike in Robert Pattinson rumors (not that they ever really go away), and one that’s gained steam this week claims the actor could be up for the title role in an upcoming Daredevil reboot.

Ben Affleck starred as the blind superhero (and alter ego Matt Murdock) in a 2003 movie. So what prompted these new rumors of Pattinson possibly taking over the part?

Well, his The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade was just announced as the director for the new Daredevil project. That development led many sites to speculate that Slade plans to recruit his former leading man as the hero.

It turns out, however, that there’s no truth to the buzz about Pattinson donning the tight red costume when the Daredevil character is reborn.

“Don’t know who dreams these stories up,” a source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop.We’ll continue to have accurate casting reports about Pattinson as the rumor mill heats up

This is in response to the earlier posted rumor about Rob and Kristen attending a Pre-Oscar bash in Hollywood.

GossipCop Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attract attention wherever they go, so their rumored joint appearance at a pre-Oscars Chateau Marmont bash last Friday would have been news no matter what.

But Us Weekly raises the ante, claiming the Twilighttwosome “threw their hands in the air like they just didn’t care,” spending all night on the dance floor, where one “fellow reveler” says “they definitely kissed a few times.”

According to the magazine’s source, the highlight for the couple came when DJ Jesse Marco played Jay-Z andAlicia Keys‘ “Empire State of Mind” (“They went nuts for [it]!”)

That sounds pretty cool and all – but did it actually happen?

Gossip Cop received many questions about Pattinson and Stewart’s supposed attendance at the soiree, and while it’s possible the duo danced the night away, no one has been able to confirm that they were there.

The event’s own photographer tells Gossip Cop he did not see Pattinson and Stewart at the party, and one of the organizers tells Gossip Cop, “They were not on the list [of expected celebrities].”

Again, it’s possible that Pattinson and Stewart were among the crowd that included stars likeHalle Berry, Ryan Gosling, Miley Cyrus and Natalie Portman.

But the absence of any corroborating eyewitness accounts at this point, in addition to what our sources tell us, make Gossip Cop skeptical that the Breaking Dawn stars kissed on the Chateau Marmont dance floor last week.

GossipCop Selena Gomez is now starring in Snow White and the Huntsman?

Just two weeks ago, Gossip Cop was told by insiders involved in the production that Gomez was not being considered for the role, and that Kristen Stewart had been offered the part.

Now IMDb lists Gomez as the lead in the highly anticipated film. So, did Stewart drop out and Gomez step in? Nope.

A production source assures Gossip Cop that Gomez has been erroneously added to the cast on the user-generated site, and that Stewart is still “in negotiations” for Snow White.

As we previously reported, it’s simply a matter of whether the filmmakers and Stewart can sign off on an agreement.

Update From GossipCop Kristen's post-Breaking Dawn production schedule has been the subject of intense scrutiny, and this week there appears to be a new wrinkle.

The actress is still attached to K-11, a drama directed and co-written by her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart.
Now, IMDb and other outlets claim that K-11 will begin production on June 6.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart has also been offered the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman, leading many observers to wonder whether there’d be a potential conflict between the two productions.

There will not be.  Gossip Cop looked into it, and a production source on K-11 told us there’s no official start date as of yet.  Should Stewart and the Snow White filmmakers come to a final agreement on their offer to her, it will in no way interfere with K-11.

GossipCop With no actual controversy brewing on the Breaking Dawn shoot down in Louisiana, dirt about Kristen Stewart has been replaced by talk about… her “dirty” mouth.

E! Online claims the actress drops so many “F-bombs,” editors have to be especially careful that “her potty-mouth outbursts don’t make it in the film.”

Stewart supposedly “curses up a storm” out of frustration whenever she stumbles on her lines, says the site, which commends Stewart for her caring so much about getting Bella Swan right, but worries about her expletive-laced perfectionism.

But this alleged obscenity overload is really f*cking exaggerated.

Sources on the set tell Gossip Cop that Stewart does occasionally let an expletive fly – like almost everyone else.

However, we’re assured Stewart’s swearing is certainly “not a distraction” to the production, nor would it ever interfere with the film’s editing.

GossipCop For days, rumors have flown about which young actress will play the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Kristen Stewart is most frequently discussed for the fairy tale role, but now Selena Gomez has become part of the speculation, thanks to certain outlets.

So where does the production actually stand? Here’s what we know. A source familiar with the Snow White project confirms to Gossip Cop that Stewart is “someone of interest” and currently on the studio’s list.

(Not surprising.)As for Gomez, however, we’re told her name has not been in the mix at all, and that rumors about her auditioning for the role are inaccurate.

There have been no negotiations with anyone yet.

Now that Henry Cavill has been picked to be the new Superman, rumors are rampant that Twilight star Stewart will join him as Lois Lane.  As the female lead in one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises, Stewart’s name is bound to come up in all sorts of casting conversations (as it has today – prematurely – with Snow White and the Huntsman).

How much legitimacy is there to this talk about her playing Lane? Not much.

A source familiar with the upcoming Zack Snyder movie tells Gossip Cop it’s “unlikely” Stewart would wind up in the Lane role.  The studio itself, meanwhile, “does not comment on rumors.”

GossipCop HollywoodLife has been responsible for some (ahem) dubious posts about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.  This one might take the cake, and it manages to be as off putting as it is off base.

After another site circulated a photograph (from behind) of a half-dressed couple brushing their teeth and speculated about whether it could be Robsten, HollywoodLife jumped in with both feet.

“Who else could make preventing plaque into a moody, sexy pas de deux? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, of course!” declares the outlet.“Even though it’s only a pic of their behinds, we’d recognize those rears anywhere!” reports HollywoodLife.

GossipCop Here comes another Famous magazine gem. The tab from Down Under tries to “put one over” on everyone with a priceless piece on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Twilight’s leading couple “beamed from ear to ear” during their happy trip to last week’s People’s Choice Awards (tell that to HollywoodLife), and the magazine thinks it knows why – Pattinson and Stewart are supposedly engaged.  What, you missed the news?

According to Famous, the events behind Robsten’s “big secret” engagement began after Stewart “spent Christmas Eve kicking up her heels on a boozy night out” with Garrett Hedlund – an evening that never actually happened, as Gossip Cop has reported.

To appease a purportedly “disappointed” Pattinson, Stewart made an “emergency dash” to the UK “to smooth things over.” That’s when Pattinson allegedly “gave her an ultimatum,” says a Famous “source,” basically demanding that Stewart marry him to show that she’s serious about their relationship. The magazine claims Stewart accepted. So that’s how Famous digs itself into a giant hole, reporting that Pattinson and Stewart are engaged when sources assure Gossip Cop they are not.

Here’s how Famous tries to climb out of the hole: “But don’t expect a big announcement any time soon!” declares the tab. Pattinson and Stewart are planning “to keep things under wraps for a while,” explains a so-called “insider.” Yes, how convenient. “The whole engagement was a very spur-of-the moment thing,” adds Famous. “Rob didn’t even have time to buy Kristen a ring.”

To recap: Pattinson allegedly gave Stewart a marriage ultimatum after an event that never happened over Christmas, she accepted, and the reason they looked so happy during the People’s Choice Awards was because of this “secret” engagement that no one is allowed to discuss and which happened so quickly there’s not even a ring.  It must be easy to write about Famous people when reality isn’t an issue.

This is quite funny because there are also rags that claim that Rob and Kristen broke up. Too much fiction in just one day,  a not-so amusing Monday indeed.

E!OnLine Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all made brief (and we mean brief) appearances at the People's Choice Awards in LA last night to pick up their awards, and while it may have appeared to be smooth sailing on TV, it was a bit more hectic backstage.

We were bombarded with tweets about Kristen being seemingly "distant" with Pattinson. So what was wrong? How about this: It was down to the wire whether the golden three were even going to make it there!

The Eclipse stars needed to be in their seats by the sixth commercial break and they were nowhere to be found, with the staff franticly calling each other on their headsets trying to track them all down. "We need them in their seats now!!!!" was just one of the stressed calls being volleyed back and forth.

GossipCop“Kristen Stewart didn’t spend Christmas Eve weeping into her eggnog over being away from boyfriend Robert Pattinson,” begins a piece on the not-so-reliable blog HollywoodLife.

The site boasts in an “exclusive” that “a source tells HollywoodLife.com that the 20-year-old Twilight star was spotted at Soho House in LA Dec. 24., with Tron hottie Garrett Hedlund, 26, her costar in their upcoming flick On The Road.”

But there’s more… HollywoodLife goes on to note Stewart and Hedlund were “sitting together alone” and “they stayed until 2:30 am!”

However, there’s one MAJOR PROBLEM with this story.
Stewart and Hedlund were NOT – repeat, NOT – “sitting together alone” at the Soho House.
Hedlund NOT even there.
A rep for Hedlund tells Gossip Cop exclusively that “it wasn’t him” at Soho House.


I could almost pass this BS up but since GC touched on it. Might as well share it  - so there will be no more questions about  'if its true or not' next time.  HollywoodLife is so full of  @#$*&%+#

Gossip Cop A rumor gaining speed online claims Jennifer Aniston wants to remake The Graduate… with Robert Pattinson as her younger lover.

The classic movie’s story concerns a college graduate who begins an affair with his parents’ married friend.
Anne Bancroft’s older Mrs. Robinson seduced Dustin Hoffman in the 1967 original.
So is Aniston planning to reprise the iconic cougar with Pattinson as her prey?
Uh… no.

A rep for Aniston tells Gossip Cop rumors of a project are “absolutely false.”

Just for laughs. I wouldn't even bother with the expensive overseas calls. GC is thorough... lol

GossipCop Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were busted romping on a beach by police,” begins an eyebrow-raising article in the Daily Star.

According to the British tab, “The Twilight megastars were getting down and dirty on Brazil’s trendy Ipanema Beach in Rio De Janeiro when the boys in blue put a stop to their kinky antics.”
“The young lovers were getting sexy like any other couple would on the beach at night but police sent them packing with a stern verbal slapping,” says the paper’s so-called “source,” who adds, “It’s obviously hard for them to go anywhere alone… I think they were just trying to grab some romantic time.”

“They were laughing about it afterwards,” says the source, “but they both looked really embarrassed.”
Actually, only the Daily Star should be really embarrassed… by this article.

Notice how the story doesn’t mention any specifics, such as when this allegedly occurred? That’s because… it never happened. Nor does the premise even make sense.
If it’s “obviously hard for them to go anywhere alone,” and they were looking to “grab some romantic time,” then why would these two extremely private people opt for a public beach instead of say, a hotel?

Still, Gossip Cop checked not only with our Pattinson and Stewart sources, but we also made a few very expensive calls to the Policia Civil do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – and they didn’t know about this alleged incident either.


This story is, as they say in Brazil, “nao verdadeiro” (not true).

 GossipCop also recently busted another funny rumor involving Rob, Kristen and Jason Statham.

Robert Pattinson Gets In Bar Fight With Action Star Protecting Kristen Stewart!” screams a headline on HollywoodLife, which rarely bothers to fact-check. According to the site, “Us Weekly reports that after actor Jason Statham hit on girlfriend Kristen at an LA bar, Rob stepped in.”

Next, HollywoodLife quotes a so-called “pal” as saying, “Jason is totally jacked and Rob is scrawny,… But Rob said, ‘I think you’ve had enough time with her.’ They got heated.”
Then, writes the site, “Luckily, bouncers stepped in before the situation got out of control.” What’s really out of control is HollywoodLife’s reporting.

When did this “fight” occur?HollywoodLife doesn’t know.
At which bar in L.A. did this happen ?HollywoodLife doesn’t know.
When did Us Weekly claim this happened? HollywoodLife doesn’t know.
Here’s what HollywoodLife knows – NOTHING.

Pattinson hasn’t been in L.A. for a while now, and Statham’s rep tells Gossip Cop the actor isn’t in L.A. either – and this never happened.

GossipCop There’s been enormous speculation about the love scenes between Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn.

Photos of the two kissing for the camera are widely disseminated, but buzz is building around a rumor that Stewart will strip for her more intense couplings in the movie.

“The script actually has Kristen practically naked in it, a lot,” claims an E! source, and while that site is careful to point out that Breaking Dawn will be PG-13, other outlets have seized on the “naked” detail and suggested that director Bill Condon might push the boundaries with a bare Bella.

So… what’s the real story?

Gossip Cop spoke with a source who’s seen the script and tells us that if people think they’re going to see Stewart naked… it ain’t gonna happen.

The scenes will be “romantic,” but the script does not call for nudity, and moviegoers won’t see any parts of Stewart they haven’t already.

So while Breaking Dawn will be the most sexualized film in the series, don’t expect Stewart to spend “a lot” of it naked.


I never believed this not one sec but I had to post this in defense of Bella and most importantly, Kristen. It's just plain irritating...Oh Ted you failed again.

GossipCop There’s been a lot of talk over the last few weeks about where Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will live while they shoot Breaking Dawn.

The couple is going to spend several months in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with the rest of the cast and crew.

Plenty of the usual suspects are stirring rumors about Stewart and Pattinson trading their hotel accommodations for a “love nest.”  Today, Life & Style has an item about the two moving out of the Hilton and into their own “private love pad.” “They wanted more privacy,” an “insider” tells the magazine. “Plus, it’s more fun to play house in a real house.”

Always eager to hop on the nearest bandwagon, HollywoodLife picks up the report and runs with it, chiming, “Finally Rob and Kristen are getting plenty of one-on-one time together in their very own house!”

We’ve gotten a lot of inquiries this week on the subject. Here’s what Gossip Cop knows:

Breaking Dawn cast members receive a per diem for living expenses, and they’re free to use it as they see fit. Pattinson and Stewart can stay anywhere they like, as long as it doesn’t interfere with production (obviously).

But here’s what Gossip Cop thinks about the “love nest” story.

We’re choosing to ignore it. Pattinson and Stewart’s Eclipse shoot in Vancouver last year turned into a nightmare of endless paparazzi pursuits and little concern for privacy. Their hotel was under constant surveillance. Their co-stars’ lives were disrupted. And the experience (rightly) soured the couple on many aspects of celebrity.

Regardless of where Pattinson and Stewart live this winter and spring, they’ll already be in the public eye when they film or go out. That should be enough. Speculating about where they spend their limited private moments won’t lead anywhere good.

GossipCop According to the site, Robert Pattinson “had big plans for Halloween and it involved inviting the entire cast of Breaking Dawn to one of the most haunted places in the world,” namely, Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana.

But, reports HollywoodLife, the cast “couldn’t get the haunted house of their dreams.”  That would be awfully disappointing… if it were actually true.

Kristen Stewart, who “wanted to spend Halloween” at Myrtles, was actually in Los Angeles over the weekend, as were other cast members like Peter Facinelli. Ashley Greene happened to be in South America.

So it seems rather unlikely that Pattinson planned to have “the entire cast” over to the plantation, since “the entire cast” wasn’t even in Louisiana and supposed co-host Stewart was thousands of miles away.

What “evidence” does HollywoodLife have? The site quotes a Myrtles rep as saying, “Someone called us up and asked if we were available anytime during Halloween weekend” and “said it would be for members of the Breaking Dawn cast.”

So “someone” — never identified — may have called the plantation and mentioned that Breaking Dawn wanted to have a party there.

That’s a FAR cry from Robert Pattinson getting “DENIED!”

“I don’t know about it,” an employee who’s worked there for eight straight days told Gossip Cop. She even heard the venue’s manager describe the Pattinson rumor as “blown out of proportion.”

At last, a word from GossipCop about Rob's 'alleged' Halloween Party. So no vintage ring with a huge red heart for Kristen? lol  
I think GC missed the fact that Kristen arrived in Louisiana exactly on the 31st so technically she spent Halloween with Rob in BR and not in Los Angeles.

How so? Well, “sources” for the site say the pair plans to “take some time off” after Breaking Dawn is completed, and want to choose to work only when they want. “After Twilight they are aiming for a Johnny Depp level of fame — to work when they want but to get peace and quiet when they don’t,” reports one “source.”

Hmm. That sounds like pretty much every actor’s goal.  But Showbiz Spy isn’t done speculating. “Right now, neither has accepted a role after Twilight so they may even take a whole year off,” claims the site.

Wait, Pattinson and Stewart might both take all of 2011 off entirely? That seemed like a stretch.  Probably because rumors of an extended period away from Hollywood for both of them are not true.

A source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop that while nothing is announced, the actor has “a lot” of roles that he is “considering” for after Breaking Dawn.

And as Gossip Cop reported last week, Stewart is hoping to work next on the drama An American Girl, even though no timetable is set.

Just because the calendar ahead is less hectic than Pattinson and Stewart’s hectic 2008-2010, it doesn’t mean there are any plans to take a hiatus from movies.
