According to the DailyStarUK , a British tabloid, Rob is one of the actors set to attend 'BAFTA Brits to Watch' at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on July 9.

"ROYAL megastars Wills and Kate are all set to take Hollywood by storm. The newly-weds are heading to Tinseltown and a glittering £16,000-a-table ball for the film industry’s movers and shakers. And they will also be giving young Brit stars a helping hand. More than 40 of the country’s hottest talents will be their guests at the bash. The Brits To Watch black tie charity evening is being hosted by Bafta, who have Prince William as patron.

Major movie studios like Fox, Warner Brothers, Universal and Disney have scrambled for tables at the event.
Ad the rush of interest from agents, distributors and executives has made the night at the Belasco Theatre in LA a sell-out.

The list of young talent invited is believed to include Emily Blunt, Max Irons, Lily Cole and Hayley Atwell. Other more established UK movie actors like Twilight’s Robert Pattinson, Atonement star James McAvoy and Harry Potter leading lady Emma Watson are also set to attend.

A Bafta source said: “The response from Hollywood has been mind-boggling. “We limited it to 250 places for the whole industry but we could have sold 50 times that number in a day. “William and Kate are the biggest show in town and they’re not even here yet. No official announcement has been made about the 42 stars selected to attend, except for BAFTA's press release that doesn't mention any names.

BAFTA’s President, HRH The Duke of Cambridge, and HRH The Duchess of Cambridge will attend the event as part of their visit to California, helping highlight the incredible depth and range of great British talent currently emerging in film, television and video games.

‘BAFTA Brits to Watch in partnership with Audi’ will be supported by leading film, television and video game companies who will personally host tables at the black-tie evening event, and invite leading creative practitioners both in front of and behind the camera to join them. The ‘BAFTA Brits to Watch’, hand-picked emerging British talent, will join them at their tables for dinner to make what could be the most important introductions of their careers so far, as well as having the chance to meet Their Royal Highnesses. Examples of their work will be showcased throughout the evening and distributed to the attendees afterwards.

The forty two emerging Brits have been selected by an expert BAFTA panel based on a number of criteria. They will generally not be complete beginners in their industry, and will have already begun to show real promise. BAFTA will announce the names of those attending prior to the event. 

So for now this will be tagged as rumor until we hear from a more reliable source. 

And in case Rob attends, I wish he would bring his princess, Kristen, a BAFTA winner, as his date.

Since Rob and Kristen filmed part of Breaking Dawn in Brazil last year there are rumors about a junket and premiere in Rio. Sergio Sa Leitão, president of RioFilme, confirmed on his twitter that there would be a premiere in the city, but still no news about which actors were going to attend.

Now, Sandy Adamil, director of Paris Filmes (Brazilian distributor) talked to O Globo about a junket for Breaking Dawn in Rio with Rob, Kristen and Taylor.

Rough translation - "After "Transformers", the next confirmed junkets in Rio are "Mr. Popper," the Fox comedy that will bring Jim Carrey to Rio later this month at a date to be confirmed, "The Twilight: Dawn - Part 1 ", from the successful vampire series, distributed in Brazil by Paris Filmes and scheduled for the second semester, and the animated "Puss in Boots," from Paramount, whose voice actors, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, will come in November.

All of this generates a high cost to distributors. The market speculates that for the Fast & Furious 5" junket, Universal spent close to $5 million. As for the "Breaking Dawn", Paris will probably spend up to $ 1.5 million to bring to Rio the trio of actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

- We had a release for the "Twilight" series in 2009, in Sao Paulo with "New Moon". Then we were lucky that the author of the books, Stephenie Meyer, wrote part of "Breaking Dawn" taking place in Rio, which brought them here last year to shoot scenes of the movie. LATimes New rumors swirling around the long-awaited Jeff Buckley biopic have falsely pitted actor Penn Badgley as the lead in the film about the late singer-songwriter. According to the film's co-producer, Orian Williams, the gossip surrounding the "Gossip Girl" star is compounded on further inaccuracies that "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson had been considered a shoe-in for the role of the enigmatic singer-songwriter.

"Penn is not involved in the film at all," Williams said in a phone interview. "It's crazy how these stories get out." When asked about Pattinson's involvement with the film, Williams said that although he's a fan of the British actor, he'd only had preliminary meetings with Pattinson, who was interested in auditioning for the film project, now almost six years in the making. Williams, along with producer Michelle Sy, casting director Billy Hopkins and executive producer Mary Guibert, Buckley's mother, are still seeking out actors for the casting process, which will likely begin in October, Williams said.

Most likely, the film will star an unknown actor who can portray Buckley without the weight of any preconceived Hollywood expectations, added Williams, who helped cast Sam Riley in the lead role of Ian Curtis in the 2007 biopic "Control" about the Joy Division front man. Williams said he's hoping to follow the same standards of finding someone with a low profile who can deliver Buckley's intense personality and haunting falsetto. "[The producers] are all very unified in our search to find the perfect person to play Jeff," Williams said.

Currently, the film is set to shoot in New York and Tennessee, where the story largely takes place. Though he rebuts rumors regarding the part of Buckley, Williams said that all kinds of actors and musicians have expressed interest in auditioning.

"When you have a story about an individual like Jeff you get a lot of interest because his life was so impactful and so short," Williams said.

Buckley was 30 when he drowned in May 1997 after deciding to go swimming in Wolf River Harbor, a slack water channel of the Mississippi River. News of a film about his life circulated as early as 2006, two years before Williams came to the project. Williams said that though the film has had a long gestation period, many measures have been taken to make sure that the foundation and intentions are authentic.

"We’re being very careful about it as we move forward," Williams said. “It takes a while to perfect this type of film. You’ve got to do it for the right reasons.”

Via mandy'smind This is not confirmed, but it seems Breaking Dawn may spend a day or two in Florida to shoot.

I first heard this a few days ago when someone told me there were some re-shoots of the honeymoon water scene that needed to be done. The lighting was off from original shoot. NO location given just that they had to re-shoot some of it.

Yesterday someone else told me the same thing but that they were shooting them somewhere on Vancouver Island. Now this seemed absurd, even in the summer our waters are quite chilly, but in April? FREEZING!

Then today I was talking to someone who told me that while booking talent for WFE release parties Rob was unavailable for particular dates because he was in Florida for Breaking Dawn and Reese was already in Europe for WFE promotion / junket (with Rob joining her right after his Florida shoot.)

I asked another friend who is usually "in the know" and was told Florida honeymoon scenes were indeed scheduled.

So, based on all this it SEEMS there may be a day or two shoot right before Easter weekend in Florida.... No one mentioned a city, and I can't confirm 100% this is correct, but for now it seems likely just based on the number of separate people saying it.

Will Kristen Stewart present at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards?

US Weekly seems to think so. In the April 4th edition of the magazine it reports that Kristen Stewart will be among the presenters at this year's KCA Awards, which are being hosted by Jack Black live in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00 p.m. EST.



Kristen Stewart is nominated for "Favorite Movie Actress" for her work in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse VOTE HERE.

Lets just wait for Nickelodeon to release a full list of confirmed presenters for the event, or maybe GossipCop will sound off regarding the matter.

Deadline.com Exclusive: The script for the Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures live action adaptation of anime artist Katsuhiro Otomo’s 6-volume graphic novel Akira has been sent to a short list of actors. The picture is finally taking shape for an August start, following the delivery of a rewrite by Steve Kloves that has director Albert Hughes and the studio brass excited. The story takes place in the rebuilt New Manhattan where a leader of a biker gang saves his friend from a medical experiment. There are two major roles, and I'm told that for Tetsuo, Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and James McAvoy have been given the new script. For the role of Kaneda, the script has been given to Garrett Hedlund, Michael Fassbender, Chris Pine, Justin Timberlake and Joaquin Phoenix. The two leads are expected to come from that group of actors.

Andrew Lazar is producing with Appian Way’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran. Akira has been one of Warner Bros' high priority projects since the studio with Legendary Pictures acquired it for a 7-figure sum 2 years ago from manga publisher Kodansha. The intention has been to make 2 films, each covering 3 books in the series. Akira was first adapted for the screen in 1988.

MTV Splash- Rick Marshall Well, it was only a matter of time before this rumor started making the rounds online. And though it’s almost certainly nothing more than that — a rumor — it seemed worth noting, if only to offer everyone a place to register their reactions to the idea.

Over at Moviehole, there’s the inevitable mention of pairing of recently announced “Daredevil” sequel director David Slade with the high-profile star of his most recent film, “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” lead Robert Pattinson.

“With David Slade given the job, there’s ‘some kind of talk’ about Robert Pattinson – who, with the ‘Twilight’ series winding up, is going to be looking for a new well-paying gig – playing the part of Matt Murdock,” reports the site.

The site goes on to indicate that any association of Pattinson with Slade’s “Daredevil” movie is “just talk” at this point, but as with any news that includes a mention of the “Twilight” star’s name, it’s already making its way around the ‘net.

At this point, it’s highly unlikely that Pattinson would be interested in the role (though studios would probably love to have him in any film, given his following), but you can be sure that we’ll ask him about the rumor during tomorrow’s live Q and A with the “Water For Elephants” actor. Heck, it wouldn’t be the first time Pattinson’s name was dropped when filmmakers were looking to cast their comic book movie.

More talk about Rob's rescued pup, yeah, 'that dog'. This time its Nikki Reed who's been asked about it. The Source interviewed NR last night at the UK Style by French Connection at Sears event and they asked her if she already met the new pet.

“How did you know that? It’s just so weird to me that when you get a dog like 78 hours ago the whole world knows about it.”

She laughed and then continued. “I didn’t even know THEY got a dog and I brought my dog, and people were saying that mine was a bigger version.”

Does she mean it’s Rob and Kristen Stewart’s dog? Nikki recovered quickly. “Oh no, it’s Rob’s dog, it just becomes a community dog on set.” “It is super cute, it’s like a miniature version of my dog.”

Considering the source is HollywoodLife its all up to you to believe the quotes. At the moment, its just an added 'maybe' information.

From PattinsonUK We had rumors that a clip from Breaking Dawn would be shown at this years Comic Con. However, on checking their website there is nothing to substantiate these claims, so we contacted the organisers of the event directly. The response we received confirms that nothing has been discussed to date:

As of today we have had no direct contact with the studio regarding any programming and certainly no footage, “clips” or things of this nature have even been broached.


I know there has been a great deal of speculation which is sometimes taken as fact, so I appreciate you contacting us to address the validity of those comments.

So there you have it! It is likely that there will be something to do with Breaking Dawn at the convention judging by their past decisions but until this is confirmed either by Summit or Comic Con please don’t make any definite plans to attend if you are only going for this reason. via

From kstewartnews To fight those cold winter nights in Vancouver, Canada where she is currently filming the final installment of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Kristen did some shopping this weekend in Los Angeles. Kristen and Rob popped into American Vintage Sherman Oaks where she purchased this dark grey retro leather jacket. For all you Rob fashion fans, and we know you’re out there, he snatched up a vintage button-down flannel shirt and a 60′s cotton tee.

HollywoodNonLife “Kristen has been in here before,” a store employee tells us. “They were came to the store around 5:40pm and stayed for about 25 minutes and there was a girl with them. Rob paid for everything, and also got two shirts for himself. A plain square shirt from the ’60s and a flannel shirt.” When Kristen landed in Vancouver, BC Canada on Feb. 28, she was spotted wearing her new gift. It was revealed that the leather jacket costs $35.00.

EOnLine Rob and Kristen were spotted at American Vintage in Sherman Oaks on Saturday and, apparently, the cuteness was out of control.

"It was very obvious they were so in love," an employee told us. "Rob was a total gentleman, and was very attentive to Kristen. He also paid for everything they bought."

One thing R.Pattz bought his lady? The American Vintage employee dishes he got Kristen a leather jacket. In fact, it's the same one she was seen wearing at LAX Sunday.

We're also hearing, though not 100 percent confirmed, that Robsten was spotted at a vet in Ventura Friday afternoon and the Griffith Observatory late Friday night—which would also make the Us Weekly story hard to believe. Glad they had such a cute weekend, but it's back to work on Breaking Dawn now.

There were lots of 'conflicting' reported sighting this weekend, including one that even produced Rob's 'supposed' flight manifest that says he flew back to Vancouver February 25th, Friday - but people are questioning the validity of the document because no year was indicated -  and some data were said to be inconclusive.

My take, let's just let Rob and Kristen be. They are working and it doesn't matter if they were not seen together for just a few hours, days- that doesn't prove anything. They are solid and no amount of scrutiny will prove otherwise. If I were you I'll just enjoy Rob's New Vanity Fair  spread or get excited over the new 'Water for Elephants' trailer coming out soon or go out and get your movie tie-in edition, which is out today March 1st.

When we're all sure that Rob and Kristen are in VanCity filming and with Rob's parents in town visiting and all... a sighting in LA buzzes in Twitter.  A grain of salt...okay ladies?

So, does this sighting support the recent questionable interview that quoted Rob as saying,

“He’s been freaked out. It’s funny. I got a private plane here from Louisiana, where I was filming Twilight, so he came out of the shelter and the next day he’s on a private plane. A bit like Lady And The Tramp.” The puppy doesn't have a na me yet, although he joked: "I'm going to call him Robert."


We will know in time...maybe when pics pop up or when we read this 'puppy info' from a more reliable source. I think its about time that GossipCop sounded off about this interview. 


To add, there is apparently a rumored WFE Special screening in LA via @RPattzBaby  "There was rumor of WFE Special screening in LA, I even tweeted earlier that maybe Papa and Mama Pattz will go."

From Ryan Seacrest 83rd Annual Academy Award producer Bruce Cohen, who’s an Oscar winner himself, phoned in Friday morning to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to give us the inside scoop on the upcoming award show, hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco, as well as revealed more on the surprise in store for the “Twilight” Twihard’s will “blow people’s minds” as well!

TwiExaminer Last year there were three Twilight stars to grace the red carpet for the Academy Awards/Oscars. Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were presenters, while Anna Kendrick was a nominee in the "Best Supporting Actress" category. The year before that, Robert Pattinson served as a presenter.

As you already know, both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have touched down in Vancouver, British Columbia to pick up filming for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, so that rules them out for Sunday's events.

No word yet on whether Taylor Lautner or any other Twilight star will be there, but at least one producer from the Oscars has spoken to the issue of Twilight fans' interest in the show.

In this video link at the 2:00 mark, Bruce Cohen states, "Hey folks, if you are a Twilight fan . . . For all of you Twi-Hards out there, we have a little surprise for you in our show on Sunday night . . . if you like those three films, I have three words for you: watch the Oscars."

No doubt, many shall. The Academy Awards take place on Sunday, February 27th at 8:00 p.m. One of the co-hosts for the event is James Franco, who, you might recall, is an outspoken Twilight enthusiast. There's even a connection between his post as host and his former interest in portraying a Breaking Dawn character . It should be interesting to see what they drum up for this! (Note that Bruce Cohen is the same guy who brought Franco on board for the job.)
