Twilight Saga film studio Summit Entertainment has announced that starting in February, special wedding edition Barbie Dolls of “Edward” and “Bella” on their wedding day – as seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 - will be available for purchasing.

The dolls will be listed at BarbieCollector.com for $29.95.

Speaking  to the press at the Cinema Society and Thierry Mugler screening of Midnight in Paris, Michael  was asked about Rob.

“I think Robert has been very clever in the way that he has tried to branch out and do lots of other different things,” Michael says. “Rob has been trying to do that while he’s been doing the Twilight series and all but I think it’s going to take a long time. I think he’ll always be Edward [Cullen] for a whole generation or maybe a few generations of people and it will be difficult to get away from that. But he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.”

“Rob is one of the biggest stars in the world now because of the Twilight series and that can be a good thing or a bad thing,” Michael says. “It’s like when people have played James Bond and you get so associated with one character it means you have a huge audience and there’s a lot of people very interested. But at the same time it might put certain people off casting you as other characters.”

Well, Rob was well received in WFE and in 'Remember Me' and Cronenberg signed him up for 'Cosmopolis' so I'd say Rob is doing it the right way. Slow but sure, one movie at a time.

And Rob can’t wait to get some sun now filming has wrapped. “I owe these films ­everything and it has been amazing, but it will also be good to say goodbye,” he said. “I wanna get a tan, show people there is more to me than Edward the vampire... pale skin and red eyes is not a good look for me.

"Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in several of the Harry Potter movies, has been cast in Summit Entertainment’s teen-vampire thriller Twilight. The actor will play Edward, a teenaged vampire who falls for a non-vampire high school classmate (Kristen Stewart). Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen) is directing from a script by Melissa Rosenberg (Step Up) based on Stephanie Meyer’s young-adult novel. Meyer also wrote two sequels and Summit hopes to turnTwilight into a franchise. Pattinson has also been cast asSalvador Dali in the upcoming Little Ashes, APT Films’ project about Spanish writers, artists, and filmmakers in the 1920s."

He's already set teen hearts a-flutter with his portrayal of Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series, so it's no surprise that he's taking on another mystical good-guy role. The Hollywood Reporter has posted that Robert Pattinson will co-star with Kristen Stewart in Twilight -- the young adult vampire story that Catherine Hardwicke will direct early next year. He'll play the sharp-toothed Edward, the object of young Bella's affection.

To recap -- the project is based on Stephenie Meyer's young adult novel/series and focuses on a teen named Bella who moves to a small town to be with her dad. She falls for a hot, pale dude who happens to be a vampire. They get together, she lusts for him and would rather be dead than be without him, he tries to refrain from drinking her blood, and all is well in fantastical relationship land until his nemeses comes to town, sets their sites on her, and makes things more challenging.

When this project wraps, Pattinson will have handled two old-time fantastical staples -- magic and vampirism, which could easily get him type-cast. But he's going the Radcliffe route and mixing adult lasciviousness into the mix with his sexy Dali movie, so that should help him balance his teen dreaminess with meatier fare. But what about you Twilight fans? Is Pattinson the vampire Edward come to life?"

When the teaser trailer for director Catherine Hardwicke’s “Red Riding Hood” debuted earlier this week, the comparisons to her previous box office blockbuster, “Twilight,” flew faster than a vampire hunting Bella’s blood. At first blush, these comparisons seemed unoriginal and a silly bit of pandering to “Twilight”‘s rabid fanbase. But then we watched the trailer, and it’s pretty hard to ignore the similarities. Thematically, “Red Riding Hood” relies on similar elements: a love triangle, supernatural occurrences and grisly murders, just to name a few. But that’s the purview of the screenwriter. What’s all Catherine is the teaser’s visual elements, and here, even more so than in the plot, this film reeks of “Twilight.” So much so, in fact, that we took screengrabs from both films for a side-by-side comparison.

For someone who grew up in Texas, Catherine has an intense fascination with the forest—ethereal, mist-laden ones, in particular. A woodsy setting is a favored location for her characters to bare their souls. The better if her heroine shares revelations with her sweetheart while facing away from him. Who but Catherine’s couples have conversations while NOT FACING EACH OTHER?
