If Kristen really said that about Rob, then that's a pretty revealing quote because Rob's always clean shaven as Edward. So when would she be kissing him with a beard, hmmmmmm? =)
Um...did Kristen just slip a little. I mean Edward doesn't have a beard and that was 2008. So she had to be talking about Robert. teehee. Gotta love this couple.

Our babygirl had a great sense of humor back then but she is more careful now when it comes to questions about Rob which she doesn't have to since the cat's outta the bag.

Love it! I see everyone picked up on the same thing I did...Edward never has a beard. She must have been kissing Rob after Twilight was done filming! Oh yeah!!! The pic of Rob is wonderful! How can a man be that beautiful!

Kristen wouldn't let it slip. Rob has said that he doesn't like to shave. So Kristen was probably referring to their kisses during rehersals and when Rob was auditioning.
We all know that they kiss each other in private! lol but I don't think Kristen would talk about it to a magazine, especially since she was with Michael at the time.
Well, not sure about Rob but to get technical, LOL, even when some guys shave, they have really scratchy stiff hair there that shaving does not competely take away and/or is back to being scratchy within a short 3-4 hrs after shaving. Yes, I have kissed someone soon after shaving and it was still very scratchy and irritating, so I know first hand, LOL. Oh, it was all G rated, LOL. And they could have had to have many takes on those kissing scene(s) in the movie, LOL.
That is so funny though. What you care about at 18 I guess may not be the same at almost 21, ROFL.
As most of you have also picked up on, Edward does not have a beard.. So Kristen was kissing him with a beard in 2008!! Wow did not know they had been together that long! Go Robsten!!! Love at first sight I presume :)
It's so funny that everyone picked up on the same thing... Yep, just a little off camera rehearing of the kissing scene, right? Well I bet that's her story and she's sticking to it (jk)! They were so destined to happen. If she were asked today, she would say no comment. I miss the beginning...she gave so much more away back then.
Not to be a debbie downer to you all. lol But I agree with Anon 10.54 even if guys shave, its still not smooth as silk and it does grow quickly... within hours and produce scratchy stiff stubble. I believe that is what Kristen was talking about in 2008.:)

As much as I'd like to think they were kissing each other during some extra-curricular activities in 2008, I have to agree with S. We've all seen just how quickly Rob goes from squeaky-Edward-clean to hobo-beard...I'm betting he has to shave more than once a day, and I bet his stubble is still noticeable pretty quickly after he shaves. Sigh....I'm guessing the rough stubble against her face is a small price to pay for kissing the Pretty any damn time she wants to!!
I really don't think Kristen minds now...she prob. got used to it ;) teehhee !
i can't believe there's an online conference about stubbles and kissing. lol. no, wait - LOL. you're hilarious ppl, one of the many reasons i love this blog to pieces.
of course there's guys whose beards grow quickly. (i live with such an example) their beards are like sandpaper and hurt the most. you have to learn to work around them, not to get skin burns, and that takes some practice. kris was inexperienced in 2008. as i said, she learned out of pure necessity, and she ain't complaining now (smart girl).

Isn't that 'new/old' photo of Rob/Edward from the early costume test shots? Either from CH director's notebook, or Twilight Movie companion book? Also, maybe from the 'deleted' finger biting scene from Twilight, same jacket?? *shrug*
@WFEFilm Hey there! Uhm, no its not the same pic from CH's Director's Notebook (or costume test shot) but Robward was wearing the same jacket. Yup, the same one he was wearing for that deleted 'You wanna taste' scene.
