Interesting! We are not exactly sure what they’ll be using her for as Mackenzie Foy is officially cast as Renesmee. We are thinking she must be the “body” they are using, and then Mackenzie’s head as CGI?
UPDATE: Rumor has it that there will be several Little Renesmee’s, however Eliza is the only one listed thus far.

Arrrh, so cute. I believe that Breaking dawn is in the right hands, and Renesmee is going to be beautiful. I agree with S, it would be so adorable to see Rob and Kristen holding a 'real' baby in their arms.
And I think 'Neelu' was referring to when you went away for the weekend, when you had slow internet connection. I think, maybe... :D

I am sure that they will have some sort of great technique/ideas how to make it all look very real. And with the guy who did cgi for Avatar on board, I am sure it will look great! :)

So, if the cast list posted for part 1 is correct at IMDb then it isn't going to be ending where everyone thought. I'm confused as to why all the vampires were listed there....as they do not show up in the book until after Renesmee is born and Alice and Jasper skip town. That is nearly the end of the book. Hmmmmmm....
I thought maybe now Eliza would be the only real child they show and now poor MacKenzie will be made into CGI? That is how I was reading it but could be wrong. Who knows. All this talk for a while about MacKenzie so I thought she really was going to be a real character through parts of it!!?? But it could be they are using one head and one body. Ughhh, I agree with S though that they do need a real kid during parts to have Edward and Bella carry. It would be weird if not it seems?? But they will probably make it look great either way I have a feeling.
Now after reading MacKenzies fan page again, it almost seems like it will be her face postly (maybe a mixture of the two girl's faces when little) and just doing that to show her small and then aging but then I get the feeling it will be THE real MacKenzie once they age her?? It seems they just need the same face but smaller body at first, LOL. That is all just me inferring it from reading her page. That could be wrong also.
They better use a real baby for the first few scenes at least. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait and c. Both of these little girls could pass for little baby robstens:).

I'm still hoping for a real baby. But I'm sure they know what they are doing. And since Kristen asked Taylor to stand in for Jacob wolf in Eclipse, I'm sure she'll want the baby scenes to be as natural as possible too. I'm getting so excited for these movies.
This sounds much like the technology they used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Bill Condon wants this project to be as much an uber success as we do, so relax. I suspect it will be better than we could imagine at this point.
This is so complicated! I´m sure some people don´t like the CGI stuff and just wanna see real babies but there´s also a group who wants to see CGI because they want to see the same face growing up and i'm sure some people will be dissapointed at the end. soo.... Yeah I´m not really into the CGI thing but I don´t want to see like 5 diffrent kids wih diffrent faces so to me this sounds okay they´re going to put mckenzies face on the body of eliza righ?? that's what I understood
It's my opinion that everyone should calm down and that the people making the film know what they're doing. I'm not worried at all.

I am going to b honest, I think cgi would b great but I'm prepping my self that it will not look like the way I translated it in my mind while reading . I always saw reneeseme between 2 & 4 yes old . I am trusting it will look great just different than what I saw, because in reality it is fiction:( lol & fiction is tough to perfectly translate. But I'm optomistic.
IMHO bring on a real baby please!! I want to see a real "coochie coooo" big-eyed sweetheart!! Edward&Bella's LOVECHILD from their Isle Esme sweet lovin' honeymoon! In the words of Rob @GGs w/Shaun Robinson (AH), when she showed him BD pic in EW..."VERY PRETTEH"(big smile on his face, love that!) I'd love to see & hear what he'd say about pics of a beautiful baby they created together after all the ecstasy & passion on that island! & Kristen's reaction as well...Hmmmm...very interesting...thanks S!
For the final confrontation between the Cullens and friends and the Volturi and witnesses Renesmee is said to be about the size of a five year old, right? They probably wanted a girl the right size to cling to Bella, then Jacob's backs during the sequence. I'm sure they will put Mackenzie's face on her. I bet they will use several girls of different sizes during filming. I hope they do use a very young baby in the first scenes, cause Rob/Edward holding a baby is too precious to miss. Add Kristen/Bella to that and I'll probably start crying!
If they are using this poor girls body and putting someone elses face on it.... damn can you say downer for her or what? I mean, how do you explain to a 5 year old girl that 'Oh, sorry, you have the right body but your face isnt what we are looking for'

@Theresa, I agree with you. The professionals working on this movie know what they're doing, know what the story is, know how Renesmee should be portrayed, and know how to do it, and we don't. There's no room for us to dis or complain or fret over something we know nothing about. They've got this and I trust that they've got this. There will be babies, and a progression of sizes of Renesmees, just like in the book, and it will work beautifully, and it will be amazing. I'm sure of it. Not. Worried. At. All.
So they are going the Benjamin Button route,as I thought and hoped they would. Just like Ben,Nessie is "born under unusual circumstances". LOL! I think this is going to be a great two-part film and a wonderful way send off to the characters we've come to love over the last few years. Can't wait for that first official trailer to hit the web. It's going to be crazy!
