Box Office Mojo's 2011 Movie Preview: Ten Miscellaneous Contenders
Water for Elephants (April 22): It's easy to dismiss Robert Pattinson as just part of the Twilight craze thanks to the poor box office performance of Remember Me last March. However, his next movie Water for Elephants is poised to be much more successful: it's helmed by blockbuster director Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend), has interesting co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz and is based on a reportedly popular book.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
Like On Stranger Tides, Breaking Dawn (Part One) (Nov. 18) follows a trilogy, but one that ended on a high note: with $300.5 million, third entry Eclipse pulled off the rare feat of out-grossing the second entry New Moon. Breaking Dawn returns to the pre-Thanksgiving slot of the first Twilight and New Moon (and formerly Harry Potter), but will have the longest wait yet (17 months). Add in a reportedly mixed fan reaction to the novel and how being broken in two didn't help Deathly Hallows Part 1, and it wouldn't be surprising if interest ebbs for Breaking Dawn.

Ugh! Again with the Remember Me criticism. Wasn't it on a list of the most profitable movies of 2010?
"it wouldn't be surprising if interest ebbs for Breaking Dawn"???????????????????????
BD has something BIG that Harry Potter didn't--HONEYMOON!! Rob & Kristen in the sexiest installment yet will certainly fill the seats. The only thing that will ebb in Breaking Dawn is the glorious waters off of Isle Esme!!
Actually I'm a little scared for BD on how it's going to do critically and with the reviews! Certainly an Oscar winning screen writer and director is a plus but the story is just not that good, mostly the second part! And the critics didn't like the movies so far script-wise so I don't know about the reactions to this one!
To be honest, for me, probably the only thing I'm excited about is seeing Rob and Kristen (and Mackenzie too) on screen and the scenes we all are looking forward to (honeymoon, family scenes, cottage)! But I was never excited about the 200 vampires from all over the world coming over to "confess about Renesmee"! Just the whole concept is really off for me! It's not really reasonable! And also I'll never get over the fact that Stephenie made Bella's life perfect, which actually was not perfect! OK she had Edward, she became a mother, but for example we never learnt what was gonna happen with Renee! It was like "it's a really difficult topic to deal with, so let's put it aside"! And again the whole story with SO many unnecessary characters will never agree with me! So for me, the first part is gonna be good because it continues naturally with the plot of the whole story, but the second part... I don't know, it will never really satisfy me!
I totally agree with you,Misty at an astounding 1000%. They think the interest in BD is going to ebb? Once that first teaser trailer for BD part 1 hits the web,all hell is going to break loose. Fandango's pre-ticket sales will go through the roof, just as it did with Eclipse. They keep forgetting that this is the moment the fans have been waiting to see-Bella and Edward's wedding and then honeymoon. Yeooow, that's going to be hot! So I highly doubt interest is going to fizzle out before November gets here. If anything the suspense is killing us already!
I don't even have to say anything cause Misty & Marion already said it all perfectly! Thanks ladies for saying what I wanted to say...nuff said. I don't believe interest has ebbed at all & I'm certain BD will make even more $$$ than the first 3 movies!
..because no matter what ..I will see BD part 1 and 2..
