Robert Pattinson stopped Ricky Gervais on his way in to tell him his performance was "perfect". Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson joined their conversation and all four were soon laughing hysterically
8:16 p.m. Robert Pattinson is escorted by two security guards down a staircase and into the party.
9:55 p.m. Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield hug. Garfield’s girlfriend, Shannon Woodward (Raising Hope), takes a seat nearby as the two talk. Pattinson’s two bodyguards are still in tow even though, surprisingly, the actor is not being swarmed by photo requests.
The Bagger did run into Andrew Garfield by the pool at HBO, but he waved off our tape recorder. “You want a scoop?” he said. “You’re going in the pool!” He aimed to push us in jokingly, as his girlfriend, Shannon Woodward (the TV series “Raising Hope”), protested. Then Robert Pattinson came over and things got really off the record. (Attention tweens: Mr. Garfield, star of “The Social Network” and the forthcoming “Spider-Man,” and Mr. Pattinson did exchange numbers.) RPL

I could be Rob's Mom, no teenager here either! He is my absolute favorite...haven't loved a celebrity like him, or Kristen since the late 70's when I was a teenager myself! Come to think of it, not even then! :)
What was the story again that someone mentioned last night about Kristen's dad or dad and mom being there? Were they?

Now that you say that, I remember a story saying her dad worked for his production company and her mom was a script supervisor and now directing but did not know if that was old info or not and had not thought about it again until you said that. Wonder if Rob and her dad saw each other or such!!?? How funny.

When I read the post and comments...
To be honest, I find it extremely disturbing when some of the commenters indicate directly or not indirectly their age - some commenting that Robert is their granddaughter's age or some sort of several generation gaps but still lusting over him. Or confessing their motherly instincts on Robert but still gets dazzled - it's kind of an incestuous thought.
I know you have a loving husband, you said it before, I'm happy for you. At least you don't say things like that when you reply.
Is there something that you can do? Please?

@Maxsnuggles Sorry but I cant do that. That request is a bit harsh, I cant discriminate the comments bec of their ages. Hun, you're lucky that your at Rob's age and young, but soon you'll mature, too and I tell you appreciating/admiring ppl do not change overtime. lol Just skip these posts so wont feel weird about it. :)
What can I say that hasn't already been said before by everybody and by myself as well?? Nothing!! He's hotter than hell, and he kills me DEAD!! That is all.
Anon: 8:25, Relax. Women of various ages like him for different reasons, nothing weird. Women of his own age like him because they think he is hot; older women like him because (I think) he/more Edward Cullen is the "dream boyfriend" who possesses qualities (handsome, extremely loyal, charismatic...) women desire but very hard to find in ONE single person... I think that is why he is popular... that is about it... at least this is what I think.

I am giggling at the comment about "older women" who want Rob, and the author is freaked out by it.... I am in my late 30s, not really old enough to be his mother, but I'm not far off, and it doesn't seem one bit weird to me to be obsessed with this gorgeous man, mostly because though my body may be looking older, my mind is still that cute little 20-something....give yourself a few years, Anon 8:25, and you'll see...you'll need a temporary mental break from your job, marriage, or kids (or all three) and if you're incredibly lucky, there will be someone like S providing you with an outlet to blow off steam and appreciate an ungodly beautiful and talented creature like our Rob (and thank you again, S, for the amazing job you do)...no disrespect to the commenter intended, of course, but it is funny how when you are very young you are so sure that you will be not be the same person when you are "older," and then when you are "older" you still feel things the same way you did as a younger person, but you have more experience and maturity to appreciate those feelings!! I hope to be appreciating Rob and Kristen until I'm truly "old", however many years of age that may be :)

I adore Kristen and Robert. I do think they are good looking. My husband is understanding of my celeb crush on Rob.
I would never act out on trying to date him. I love my husband way too much. Plus Rob would never want to date me anyway.
I have been a fan of Kristen since 2001 when I was a senior in high school. Panic Room.
I have followed her movies, because I thought she was talented, kind, and more normal than other Hollywood stars.
I became a fan of Rob through Kristen.

ANON 8:25 I agree with all the ladies. I doubt anyone really "wants" this man. I mean unless KStew is ANON on here or his family/friends then I am gonna say we don't know him. LOL Only what is "sold" to us. (I don't mean to sound harsh or claim he is faking.I am just saying we r getting snipets of his work persona.) I think he has time and time again demonstrated humilty and charm for his young age and that is the attraction and admiration. Yes, he physically is nice looking but I think the persona he alludes adds to this. Anyway, long message short. I think most posting enjoy his work more so than just the looks or they would blog about models more often. Just my opinion. Hope I didn't offen anyone. I am a fan of his, just more of fan of his work and work ethic...man that man works a lot.

my mom and I read the books together, and we go to see the movies together too.
She drove my friends and I when each movie came out.
She helped me decorate my room with it. Posters, pillow cases, and so on. (I'm 16)
She says Robert, and Taylor are hot guys. But if she had to chose one for me to date it would be Rob.
She is more of a Team Carlisle lady. *Palm of hand to forehead while shaking head, and giggling at her*
Her co worker is in her late 40's, and loves the books too.
I like that it gets people of all ages.
@Maxsnuggles I am not offended by your comments. I am amused because it's the product of your youth. It doesn't feel like that long ago that some of us probably felt 30-something and beyond was old too. We can still appreciate beauty and feel protective over someone we enjoy. Do we enjoy escaping to this site some days? Absolutely Are we delusional and think we someday will meet them and instantly be friends with them? No(that's usually the tweens) What I find most amusing is that your comments play into a double standard. I am assuming you are male, no? Even if you're not let's remind everyone that men much older than us have "lusted" after young women for centuries and few bat an eyelash. There are entire publications created just for this purpose. I mean, come on, professional sports teams don't really have cheerleaders and dance squads to encourage group participation.
Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion and S does a phenomenal job maintaining fairness within the site. So maxsnuggles I hope you continue despite your discomfort, because who knows maybe us old ladies can enlighten you. LOL
