MTV/Twilight Pro LarryCarroll, the sweet guy who gave us Rob and Kristen's classic on set interviews (Yay! Twilight Tuesdays) recalls via Twitter how it was on set back in 2008.

"Yeah, the chemistry was undeniable. I remember each had a book on their chairs, next to each other. RPattz read Vonnegut. I was on set for 2 full days, and the only time they weren't together was when I did my 1-on-1 with Rob. They were VERY into building chemistry, barely knew each other then. To play such intimate characters for several movies .they knew they had a lot of work to do. Both of them take acting very seriously, even then when relatively young. They'd share books watch movies together, hit local clubs with other actors, etc. As soon as Catherine called "Cut!" they'd almost always head off together. 

I've interviewed each dozens of times, most recently for XBox at the BD1 premiere. So glad they've come so far. Would be very cool, since I unearthed that tidbit. But I know a lot of people whose heads would explode from the sexiness! Just KStew there, missed Rob. If you have XBox, keep your eye on the movie coverage there - I produce much of that yumminess. 

Was a lot easier in those day. I was the only one who cared. I remember explaining to other reporters what "Twilight" was... EW spelled Stephenie's name wrong, on set a lot of people thought the film would go straight-to-video. When I asked to visit the set....they were kinda shocked. Said "how many days do you want to come up for?" Gave me full access, no embargo. That's extremely rare. I'd say they were equal. Although KStew definitely seemed to take the lead most of the time. She was the more experienced actor."

I love SuperJosh but it would be a delight if Mr. Carroll would interview Rob and Kristen for BD2, maybe to talk about Twilight for the last time... to close their TwiSaga experience, so to speak. Yes, to end the Saga full circle. *tears*

Before Robert Pattinson was romancing Reese Witherspoon in 'Water for Elephants' or the mysterious Edward Cullen in 'Twilight,' he played a pivotal role in two 'Harry Potter' movies.

Robert played Quiddich captain and Triwizard Tournament contender Cedric Diggory in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,' the latter in which he comes to an untimely end at the hands of Voldemort. When asked by ET in 2005 about his thoughts of becoming a teen idol, he laughed, "I think about it all the time! No, I don't -- it's impossible to think what it's going to be like, because I've never been hugely popular or anything in my life, so it's going to be weird. I hope I get a bit of an ego afterwards!"

Q:  So basically, Kristen was one of the main reasons you wanted to do it?
Rob: "Yes, pretty much, especially after the auditions..."

This is Rob's old interview with Jessie Jordan of Q102s, date is November 13, 2008. Cute lookback how things were a lot simpler then. Rob was so funny when he checked his 'unauthorized biography' lol. I bet he's more knowledgeable now about American holidays than before - thanks to the pretty girlfriend. Just saying.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrive together in a taxi back at the pacific palisades hotel. Kristen's manager is also in the taxi, along with Twilight Eclipse director David Slade. I asked Rob "Can I get one quick picture?" and he replied "yeah sure" and I took one frame, changed camera orientations, and took a second one. He jokingly added "hey, you said just one!" after that and patted me on the back and said goodnight. The hotel is being converted to condos now.

"Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in several of the Harry Potter movies, has been cast in Summit Entertainment’s teen-vampire thriller Twilight. The actor will play Edward, a teenaged vampire who falls for a non-vampire high school classmate (Kristen Stewart). Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen) is directing from a script by Melissa Rosenberg (Step Up) based on Stephanie Meyer’s young-adult novel. Meyer also wrote two sequels and Summit hopes to turnTwilight into a franchise. Pattinson has also been cast asSalvador Dali in the upcoming Little Ashes, APT Films’ project about Spanish writers, artists, and filmmakers in the 1920s."

Moviefone "Wizards, vampires. and gay lovin', oh my! He's already set teen hearts a-flutter with his portrayal of Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series, so it's no surprise that he's taking on another mystical good-guy role. The Hollywood Reporter has posted that Robert Pattinson will co-star with Kristen Stewart in Twilight -- the young adult vampire story that Catherine Hardwicke will direct early next year. He'll play the sharp-toothed Edward, the object of young Bella's affection.

To recap -- the project is based on Stephenie Meyer's young adult novel/series and focuses on a teen named Bella who moves to a small town to be with her dad. She falls for a hot, pale dude who happens to be a vampire. They get together, she lusts for him and would rather be dead than be without him, he tries to refrain from drinking her blood, and all is well in fantastical relationship land until his nemeses comes to town, sets their sites on her, and makes things more challenging.

When this project wraps, Pattinson will have handled two old-time fantastical staples -- magic and vampirism, which could easily get him type-cast. But he's going the Radcliffe route and mixing adult lasciviousness into the mix with his sexy Dali movie, so that should help him balance his teen dreaminess with meatier fare. But what about you Twilight fans? Is Pattinson the vampire Edward come to life?"

Three years ago today... media and fans alike, were made aware that Rob was going to play Edward Cullen. This is definitely a historical date for Twi, and Rob and Kristen fans! Sweet Destiny was on the move. Oh yeah, baby!
