Via mandy'smind This is not confirmed, but it seems Breaking Dawn may spend a day or two in Florida to shoot.
I first heard this a few days ago when someone told me there were some re-shoots of the honeymoon water scene that needed to be done. The lighting was off from original shoot. NO location given just that they had to re-shoot some of it.
Yesterday someone else told me the same thing but that they were shooting them somewhere on Vancouver Island. Now this seemed absurd, even in the summer our waters are quite chilly, but in April? FREEZING!
Then today I was talking to someone who told me that while booking talent for WFE release parties Rob was unavailable for particular dates because he was in Florida for Breaking Dawn and Reese was already in Europe for WFE promotion / junket (with Rob joining her right after his Florida shoot.)
I asked another friend who is usually "in the know" and was told Florida honeymoon scenes were indeed scheduled.
So, based on all this it SEEMS there may be a day or two shoot right before Easter weekend in Florida.... No one mentioned a city, and I can't confirm 100% this is correct, but for now it seems likely just based on the number of separate people saying it.

Well, what is amazing to me is that they would leave Brazil without making sure the footage was OK??!! That is just strange. You go all the way there and film that stuff and don't verify it is OK before you leave?? So, they had that beautiful area and then have to do it in Florida anyway??

I know S and I agree, I don't know the whole story and you are right but just weird. Maybe they really just want to get more footage - like additional footage or such. I just meant if it is really just the lighting, you would think they would review the footage before they left Brazil so maybe there is more to it - like just more footage, etc, as I said. It is just that they went to that beautiful place for a reason, LOL, and now they have to go somewhere else here in the USA to redo it, LOL. Just sounds crazy on the surface is all. But in the scheme of things, I am probably making too much of it. It could be close up footage for all Iknow.
I wonder how true any of this is now, just after the leaked images, especially. While re-shoots are often needed, right up to the last minute sometimes, I doubt that there will be scramble to bring Rob and Kristen down to Florida right in the middle of spring break during the opening weekend(s)of WFE. something is too fishy about this plan... re-shoots would be done all together, not just a few here and there. They can't know what else they will need for final cut yet, they are still shooting and have a massive amount of footage to go through still.

@Belladonna While you're right that they're not finished with principal filming yet- the honeymoon/water scenes were already done and the director already knows if he needs more of it. Again..if true.

Ahhh I live in Florida near Orlando! Lots of good beaches they could choose from around here!! But that's exciting! I hope they enjoy the sun if its true!! <3

Well casting for Kristen's prince will be a hard act to follow, Lily has already got that tall, sexy, Armie Hammer...so Universal had better make it good! LOL!
As for Lily as Snow White, I don't know yet. I mean, good for her, but I only know her for The Blind Side and being Taylor's main squeeze. I am probably going to end up seeing all three Snow White's because I do have a four year old niece whom I spoil and take EVERYWHERE and she likes anything princess related.

@S ITA Snow White double dates with their own personal princes are a must! Besides they sound like very different movies. Although comparisons will be inevitable, I'm sure there will be room for both. But Kristen still rocks the best moniker: "SnowStew"
If this is true,they need to do it in PALM BEACH FLORIDA OR JUPITER close to Palm Beach.Their are a lot of private beaches.I have a property in Palm Beach and most of the people that live their are snow birds/old people.

maybe they're expanding the water footage and decreasing the indoor "playtime" since the pics were leaked. that might have caused them to severely cut those scenes down.
Yes!!!! this will be the closest I've ever been to the awesomest couple ever!!! Ahhh!! You know if I find out where the shoot is I may make a trip for the summer just to walk where they walked kind of be apart of the experience!!! Ahh!!!
I'm assuming filming will be in clearwater or maybe cocoa... Buttt... the best beaches are on treasure island/Fort Desoto, completely empty at very convenient times AND no one can get to them without a boat so that helps :) All I know is that I live in central Florida and Rob and Kris NEED to go to Harry Potter World at Universal!!! That would be amazing :D

I am excited if this is in fact true. I live in Daytona Beach and there are any number of great beaches to choose from. There are some very secluded beaches in the Cocoa area and could very well match up to what kind of scenery that they need. Anyhow, if it is true I hope to catch even a small glimpse, but we will just have to wait and see!
