Ok, since this is a German article and its translated. Its hard to know who answered the last 2 questions, was it Christoph or did the interviewer went back to Rob (since this was Rob's interview after all). Gah. Whatever, we know better. lol

I think the three last questions (including the "single" one) are answered by Christoph... Am I wrong on that?
I'm just wondering: for British folks, does saying that someone is "single" necessarily have to mean "not dating" AND "not married", or does it specifically mean "not married"? Because, as an American, I think calling oneself "single" can mean not married but actually dating.
Loved this interview & Rob's comment that he's single and in love makes me sigh with happiness. They're not married so he's single but he's in love with Kristen! This comment made my day! Sad that he can't buy a home because of the fans. Why can't they just admire him but give him his privacy!

You're right S.we know better,Rob just told the reporter that his girlfriend was in LA.The boy was so smitten that he's trying to confused the reporter but at the same time he's unable to help himself by admitting that his in love.
S, I think that the last questions are from Christoph because its under the title Christoph comes in and they ask him about Rob and if they went back to Rob they would have said so because they talked about Rob before asking him his questions, plus this was done before Rob said that his GF was in LA.
Yes, single means not being married. Altho in modern relationships, just simply being with someone now means you're not single. You're together. And that's because we've elevated the status of simply living together. We've legitimized it. However, that is "legally" incorrect. Until you sign the papers (putting a ring on it is actually an option, not a requirement), even if you're living with someone, until you are lawfully wed, you are still legally single. Rob was correct.
@Nicole My impression was CW walks into the room and the interviewer asked him about his impression of Rob, then went back to Rob-since this was Rob's interview after all. I dunno that there's an interest about CW's lovelife. lol Honestly, who cares? We know better.

S, yeah but I would have figured that they would put it with Rob's or let the readers know that it was Rob's answers other questions plus since Christoph holds German citizenship maybe come people their have an interest in his lovelife.

I know that being he's not married he's legally single but here in the states when people are in a relationship they're considered taken, off the market, not single, or if someone asks then are you single? they respond no i'm in a relationship or i have a girlfriend. In saying that I have no idea if something was lost in translation or if Rob was being his adorable, playful self or if he didn't want to flat out answer the question and just say he is in love! Who knows written interviews leave alot of wiggle room for the writer and one never really understands in what spirit the question was answered in! ok i'm done analyzing this!

I just read the interview in German. Rob answered the 2 last questions. The last answer was: I won't let steel my soul. Christoph Waltz is in a relationship since 7 years, but also not married. Bild is a newspaper who isn't very seriously - often out of the context.
I'm sorry but what exactly is crap in the article that we should not believe? It sounds just like any other interview Rob has given except maybe the "I'm in love part"? Rob has been open during the promo, I think he just don't care anymore and just telling the world what he feels! By the way, the Brits do say being single means not married. Just listen to the royal wedding coverage the commentators keeps saying the last day Will and Kate as single man and woman!
I think, in typical Rob fashion that he simply tried to deflect the question. With the whole stuttering/laughing thing going on at the beginning I read the question as well, and Rob clearly states that he wouldn't anwser a question like that because it's like taking photos of his soul. Also, like everyone else said, BILD isn't neccessarily the most reliable magazine out there. And, this was before he said his girlfriend was in L.A:)

@Anon 2:47 I think what Diana was saying is that this is like a tabloid and that just because they say that Rob said something doesn't mean he actually said it, the interviewer can re write it and make it sound like Rob said something he didn't or add things to Rob's answers.
Plus this interview was done before Rob basically admitted he had a girlfriend when answering a reporters question abotu where is girlfriend was.

To be onnest, this is an aufull translation ! I'm from Germany, an I've read the original interview! The "girlfriend"answer is defnitly Rob, because in the last part of Chr. W.'s answer they say that Rob is laughing ! And in the "girlfriend"answer, they starts with : he laughs even harder ... so im sure that this is Rob`s answer ! But be careful: "Bild" is not a really serious newspaper in Germany !
