This year's theme will be in honor of the late Alexander McQueen, 'Savage Beauty'.
The exhibition will be open for the public on May 4th, and the actual Met Gala will be held May 2nd.

London is 5 hrs ahead of NY and the flight time, depending on airline/private, could take approx 7 to 10 hours. It's doable for Kristen to show up at both events but not practical.

If she doesn't make the London thing that's okay. She went to the NYC one. I'm sure Rob would understand.
He won't love her any less. Nor her of him. The only big thing they would have to endure is missing each other, but they are still just a phone call away. ;)

If Kristen does head to London, it may just be to meet up with Rob to head over to Austrailia. I could see her going there with him. All pure speculation of course :)

I googled the heck out of the MET gala and still can't figure out what committee member means. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to assume this is an honor for Kristen because she is such a beauty and wears fashion so incredibly well.

Ok I googles it and I'm not completely sure but committee members are like expected to speak at the event and typically show up as one of the designers dates. It said they overlook the scene as well... I hope she accepts though :) cuz the MET gala is a bog deal in fashion
I hope she is going to the Met Gala. It is an honor to be invited and Kristen has her own career.
As much as I love them as a couple I don't get why Kristen should join Rob's promo circus. He is promoting a movie and not his personal relationship. And it is an exhausting tour:
After Berlin and Paris he is in Barcelona May 1 th, has to leave the next day for London, is probably doing some interviews and junket in London, premier the next day on may 3th. And next morning may 4th he has to catch a plane for 25 hours to be in Australia evening may 5th.
I travelled many times from Europe to Australia, it is exhausting and the time difference of 9 hours is killing you.
I don't see Kristen fit in this schedule. In addition Australia has some very nasty paps and people will go batshit crazy.
I think she did a great support for Rob at the world premier in NY, they left the premier as a couple, that should be enough. But we always want more, don't we? (-;

Great comment, Anna! There's no need for Kristen to have to be subjected to that brutal travel schedule. We love seeing them joined at the hip, but it's just not reasonable. You don't see other movie star couples constantly following each other all over the globe, so I don't know why we expect it of R/K. I hope K can go to NYC for the Met Gala--we need some Kristen face time! Kristen dressed to kill, FTW!
