Rob: Yeah, I think it’s strange to accept people trying to take photographs mainly because people are trying to sell it. And any kind of life where people are trying to sell every aspect of your life and things that are not intended to be sold it just makes me feel tacky and makes me feel cheap and so I prefer to keep my personal life personal. Try to at least.

A lot of people said - until I won't hear a confirmation from Rob or Kristen in interview, I won't believe that they are couple. So here you have - that is the confirmation :)And I am so happy that and Rob, and Kristen have same thinking about private life, that what is private, stays private.

There must be something in the water in Europe, it's like truth serum or something, LOL!! I love how he is so calmly answering these "girlfriend" questions, not deflecting or denying, yet not offering up any extra information. Sweet Rob!
We all knew this was how they felt, they will never be the couple posing for the cover People or US Magazine, with a headline, "Our Love" I love to hear him say this (again), let's hope people listen this time. Let R&K keep some aspect of their lives theirs.

I actually admire the fact that the interviewer asked him straight and forward about his relationship and his girlfriend, because I really hated these last questions: what souvenir did you get for your girlfriend? where is your girlfriend now? These are just stupid sneaky questions because some interviewers want to have at least one quote about Kristen and they don't have the guts to ask directly what they want! And while they actually don't give a tiny rat's ass about the souvenir or where Kristen currently is!
Although I think this interviewer here is kinda scared to ask, but she does anyway so that's good in my book! :)
I wonder if reporters will start take advantage of the fact that Rob has been a bit more open about Kristen related questions...I don't think they would dare to do that with Kristen... Lol. He is so sweet and a bit bashful as always when talking about K...:)
I love that he doesn't deny that he has a girlfriend, but I'm confused because these interviews keep contradicting themselves. Like he said he's single but now he has a girlfriend?
i just like rob for not being a cheap person like justin bieber.such a true heart throb.by the way he is not open with questions.he is asked so he have to answer.and they are saying girlfriend not saying directly kristen as he haven't confirmed anything yet.
Ina, yes they will try, def. even with K,one of the last interviews she was on , someone did ask her how Rob was doing, she seemed ok with it.i think as long as they do not ask specific personal stuff, they are ok with it.
I loved the Kristen related question, but I did not like the Reese question, that was very uncomfortable to watch.
I will be curious to see if the interviewers will start to question Kristen again about Rob, seems for some time those questions were off limits for both of them.

He's just lovely! He always makes me LOL and I sit here with a stupid grin on my face just watching him. I thought it was funny her question about the "rumor" that Reese didn't really want to make the movie with him and was that why she wasn't in Germany. Rob, as always, was polite but his answer was right on and funny! Gotta love this guy!

Oh Rob, you are so adorable, he almost blushed when he said at least I try to keep it private. I'm glad for them to be sort of open about it, just hope that it's not gonna be used against them. That every interview is about their respective parner and not about their new movies. Funny now, since the last TW movie is finished, they feel sort of free.

@ anon 11:28, the interviewer said "there are rumors that Reese wasn't to keen about shooting this movie with you, could that be why she isn't here?" Rob laughed it off, and said she was at her kids b-day party or something. We all know that isn't true, Reese has done nothing but say kind things about Rob, I just thought that was a kind of rude thing for her to ask him. JMO

@sharilee, truth serum! LOL! Truly, I laughed out loud on that one! I've been thinking the same thing...
I know we're not really supposed to speculate, but I think about what Rob said somewhere recently, can't exactly remember, but he said something about sensing changes ahead, and figuring out "how to live this life of mine", and I think just maybe Rob and Kristen have reached some agreement that makes him feel different about their future, more certain. I loved what someone wrote on the comments about what happened to the blog's pics about Kristen being Rob's muse. If you are a Van Morrison fan, as I am, you know the way the idea of a muse is repeated in his music, so I don't think it's a stretch to think Rob's been looking for his, and feels more and more certain he's found her in Kristen. Anyway... I'm loving these WFE interviews!
And in a bit of defense for this interviewer, Germans are very straight-forward in their communication style, so take cultural differences into account and don't judge her too harshly. I think she did soften her question with her body language. Rob isn't obligated to answer, and often deflects. I think he's feeling freer to be open without spilling his guts or giving details, and I think the interviewer here did a good job and asked truly interesting questions. Rob sure was thinking!!! I love to see his wheels turning!

I love how rob react when mentioning the obvious(his gf of course) you can see how he love and adore her...the smile that only Kristen can do to him and the spark that glow in his eyes that says yes he's in love!
Oh, the interviewers become sneakier. Buy I think Rob's answer is great. He didn't try to deny it whereas I think he didn't want to. And neither he gave out any specifics. Except his answer just hinted that he has a gf which is a fact we all know.

I feel like the interviews where the interviewers just have a conversation with them while they're asking questions instead of just asking direct questions and waiting for them to answer are always more 'personal'...I agree this interviewer is a little dry...The actors always seem so much more relaxed when people just try to talk to them instead of making it like the spanish inquisition...I can't imagine how monotonous those junkets must get. How many times can one sanely answer the same question...Props to the actors cause I know when I have to do it in my job I wanna rip my eyebrows out.
just want to say "it's perfect question with perfect answer",and you know what...,if some people said his "girlfriend" is not Kristen it's weird,becase look...,with who he is hanging around?,with who he is spend time? with who he is Flirt? with who he's Celebrate his Birth day or her birthday? the one and only answer is always with KRISTEN STEWART and "nonsten" can't deny it,,and i agree with keep and always keep the privat lives because they're not Cheap... love u Both ROBSTEN!

Intruthbeauty, I love your response. I like many agree that since BD wrapped it seems like both R/K seem more at ease with where they are and where they are heading with each other. I think Kristen is a bit more reseved about
questions about their relationship because she also knows what Rob's fan base is all about. And yes she is shy but that is what is endearing to Rob. And, I think Rob needed to be the one leaving us with these lovely little bits about his girlfriend because of this, it holds more weight. If that makes sence - it is not for sale (never was PR)we are not denying it but know it does exist and it is peronal the love Kristen and I have for each other. Just my thoughs on the situations. Just love the smiles I see on their faces, they are glowing.

Just watched this video and cracked up when Rob tried to hide his smile when the girlfriend question was being asked. I am surprised he got himself under control as quick as he did, but I guess he has had a few years practice. :)
The other week Rob spoke on camera to a reporter about his friends Marcus, Bobby, & Sam's music by name, last week he planted a quick kiss on Kristen after the WFE premiere party, and this week he's answering questions with the word girlfriend in it. The defensive privacy shield is defintitely slipping. Can twitter be far behind? LOL Yes, I'm sure that's not gonna happen, but I can't wait to see where Rob takes it next!
I think that Rob was a bit unnerved by this interviewer...look at her (pretty blonde, kind of resembles his sisters), listen to her lovely soft voice, she's serious and soft spoken. I think it was difficult for him to be glib with her, look at his body language, he's definitely a bit nervous and out of his comfort zone, she really engaged him, perhaps mesmerized him. No surprise that he gave a serious response to a quite serious question re. his personal life. Perhaps she was playing the Kristen card, but she didn't make him feel like she was. Well said Rob and good question.

@Anna, good point on Rob's laugh in the interview and Eclipse propsal scene. Rob has a whole language of laughs, I think! Maybe somebody will diagnose them and create a translation! LOL! But seriously, I think you're right, it is a certain little laugh that comes out at certain times-- a stress relieving laugh?
That's funny ANON @10:33am...I was thinking the exact same thing, her SOFT voice and similarity to his sisters...she was serious and a little interesting. Rob couldn't be so giggly and he is always so good @responding to the interviewer or person...that's why he is such a people person. Anyway loved his smile when she asked the question!
Oops I forgot...I don't think she mesmerized him though not at all(he only is mesmerized by K) but I think he felt like he had to be honest with her and she was so blunt yet soft in her interviewing style. agree the rumors about Reese was painful but Rob is always so gratious!
