Rob: I was interested in the script because it looked like a long and mysterious poem. Usually when you read a script you suddenly get what it’s about, where it’s going and how it will end.

Rob: This time was different because the more I kept reading it the more I didn’t seem to understand where it was going but more I wanted to be in the movie. That movie doesn’t belong to any genre it’s on its own.

Rob: It was hard to interpret a character who doesn’t go trough an evident evolution or follow a predictable path, I mean it does but it’s an incredible evolution that doesn’t happen in the same in which the characters usually change. David was able to control the whole thing I’ve never worked with a director that has such  control over his movie and consider himself the head of every aspects of it.

I didn't see dailies but the rave shoot is where I saw Pattinson's acting chops. Cronenberg was very demanding. Demanding as in excessive amount of takes where most directors would have wrapped, but Rob never blinked an eye."

His tweets on June 21st  - before they filmed the rave scenes.

"If this movie is anything like Cronenbergs other films, Pattinson will have to do some real acting, not just look sparkley lol. I heard Elephants was good. I'm excited to see what kind of performance Cronenberg can get out of Pattinson on Cosmopolis.Takes for the rave scene will be 2-3 minutes each. Its a one day shoot and they'll shoot till Cronenberg is happy! "

Itsy, bitsy mentions like this one makes me a proud Rob fan, gazillion times over! Intense Robric is intense! Can't wait for Cosmopolis.

Update! offline82 "Rob has the day off from #cosmopolis filming today."
Steve_s2001 Rob is still here in TO filming until July 15.(changed to July 19th as per OMDC Prod Schedule) Yes it's the day off for everyone. Today and tomorrow. After seeing Robert Pattinson sign and talk with over 50 fans last night at 5am I have so much Respect for Him. He's a Class Act and a True Star. Yes they are finished filming outside. The rest of the filming with take place in studio. (compared to other celebs) he's probably of the best .

In case you're wondering Rob's crazy 'unfinished' haircut is for the movie.
