The book has topped the New York Times paperback best-sellers list, has been talked about in several TV shows and is now, as sources say, being considered to be adapted on film Read - The Hollywood Reporter.

Belfast Telegraph Twilight's Bella Swan has become a real "cold skin" as she takes her place alongside other stars of the vampire films at Madame Tussauds.

Actress Kristen Stewart has been sculpted in ice to stand next to figures of her real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner aka Jacob Black.
It is the first ice sculpture to be displayed at the London attraction and marks the DVD release of the latest Twilight film, Breaking Dawn - Part 1 in which Bella is frozen in time by becoming immortal.

But unlike her screen persona, Stewart's figure will have a finite life and will be on display for just two days.
Pattinson's figure has already been popular and Lautner was added recently at the suggestion of visitors.

Tussauds model-maker Roger Mackay has been putting the finishing touches to the sculpture. The DVD of Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has just been released.

On Austria's version of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire?' one of the questions in the latest episode involved Rob and Kristen.  RKBubbles/Tama says the question is along the lines of  "According to the press, Robert Pattinson does not only love his co-star........ in the movie" and the contestant was quick to answer before all options were presented. Too cool.

Richard Phillips talks to VanityFair about Rob's portrait

“After holding a contest within my studio to find the best red carpet face from the constant river of images, a composite was made from the best of the best of Pattinson’s expressions. The colorful and detailed Louis Vuitton background was to suggest a fictitious brand endorsement context that was commensurate with his position as the most popular member of the group. The difficulty became not how to render his face so he could be seen, but how to paint his presence so he could be inescapably felt when standing in front of the painting. My painting of Robert Pattinson began to fulfill its intention of giving pause, to question our relationship to the constant appearance and simultaneous dismissal of our disembodied selves in relation to a system that generates a forced intimacy with commercially enforced exceptionalism.”

ArtInfo: The paintings almost begin to look like teenybopper posters — like something you'd paste on your wall as a 12-year-old. And the weird thing about those posters is that they represent a kind of pre-sexual fetishization. How does sex play into these images?
Richard Phillips: "If one looks at the "Twilight" series objectively, a comparison could be drawn to the avant-garde practice of John Cage, Merce Cunningham, or Steve Reich. Instead of sustaining a note or holding an awkward position or repeating an appropriated rhythmic progression, the actors of "Twilight" sustain irresolvable teenage emotions for 2 1/2 hours without any sexual release. The production of this experience taps into a universal tween condition that once passed through can only be accessed again through externally induced psychological trauma. Sex is omnipresent in all these images but is experienced unreservedly only by those currently going through availability and the capability to satisfy forbidden sexual desire. All of this translates to a multi-billion dollar industry that may or may not lend its agency of legitimization to raise awareness of that which has the pretense to call itself contemporary art." “I think the easiest one right off the bat was Kristen because of her relationship with Pattinson; plus, New Moon and Twilight were such a success. And just at that time she was hitting it big with The Runaways with Dakota Fanning. The Runaways was kind of a great but wasted opportunity, because the film was horribly directed and terribly shot, but their performances isolated from that were great.”

“The demand for getting things right with Pattinson—getting the lips right, the beard right—is important because all the character he has in his classic ‘I’ve seen it all before’ look is made up of all those constituent parts. All the New Moon websites and blogs were going nuts; a drawing, an artwork of their star was an amazing thing. It gave me a sense that there was a real desire to see this work,”
