ETOnLine One lucky fan spent a whopping $80,000 Wednesday to meet Robert Pattinson on the set of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.'
The winner will travel to Vancouver where they'll be hosted at the Four Seasons along with three companions. Then, they'll travel by limo to the 'Breaking Dawn' set, where they'll have a meet and greet with Rob, who portrays hunky vampire Edward Cullen in the hit series.
The prize was offered on www.CharityBuzz.com to raise funds for the GO Campaign, a nonprofit group that supports grassroots projects for orphans and vulnerable children globally. The $80,000 bid is the highest bid ever on CharityBuzz.com.
The fourth book in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, will be split into two films to be released on November 18, 2011 and November 16, 2012 respectively.

My gosh! Was that just one person that spent that?
If I spent that much on him he better have sex with me too. Haha! Sorry Kristen! :)
No... I could not do that. I have three kids that will one day go to college.
I am happy this person won, and will get to go. Maybe we will hear from this person when they talk about their experience.
Best of luck!
omg! What a prize!!..to meet and greet with Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen..$8o,000..omg! he is worth it..I would have bid more if I have the means..must be a die hard Twilight fans Congrats to the winning bidder/s!!it's great for the deserving charity..Team Edward/robsten!!
I don't know. I think it would be incredibly awkward to meet Rob under these circumstances. What's he supposed to say to someone who spent that much money just to meet him? That's a lot of pressure! Great for the charity, though.
I'm sorry, Rob, but you're not worth $80,000. I would rather put a nice down payment on a house. At least it's going to charity and not in his pocket.
To the many thousands of multi-millionaires in the country, $80,000 is pocket change. (Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.) It's a charitable deduction they can write off on their taxes. People in that bracket need these high deductions to help offset their higher tax bracket.
If I were a multi-millionaire, I definitely would have bid on the meet and greet and would have paid $100,000 for the opportunity. I'm certain the winner will have plenty to chat about with Rob and they'll have a great time. Rob is so kind and interesting and gracious, I'm certain he'll make it easy and light and fun for the winner. Were it me, and if it were allowed, I'd bring my grandkids, all huge Twilight fans.
In this particular case, it's not about Rob or the winner, it's about the charity, who is the true winner in this case and I'm happy for them, and certain Rob is thrilled, that they raised the highest amount ever. It's a great use of celebrity and a fabulous and easy way to give back. Kudos to Rob for participating.
i hope ho ever she is, share photos here to that trip!!! :D
@Anon 9:15 PM: The money is for charity, not for Rob.
Money does not work for him. If he did, he already accepted the offer to become the model of Blueberry.
