Well, you know I have to jump in here. Lee is not using Rob to get anywhere, please understand that. Rob asked Lee several years ago to write a song for "How to Be", but unforutantely it was too late to make the soundtrack. Lee has also written a song for Rob's sister Lizzy. They go way back, so please don't think that Lee is trying to use the "Rob connection". Lee is incredibly talented in his own right and sooner or later everyone will find out. I agree with anonymous 4.40. This guy is totally namedropping Rob. His true friends like TomStu, Sam, Marcus, Bobby, refuse to talk about him when they are asked. Also he is never with them. There is one pic of him with Rob, taken a few years ago, and that's it.
errr sorry - I do not see how this guy answering a question about his song makes him a namedropper.. what is he supposed to do? Lie? lol. I've only ever seen him mention Rob when someone has asked him about why he wrote his song.. and if he wrote a song for Rob a few years ago - why shouldn't he talk about it?! He isn't declaring to be Rob's best friend or anything lol.
I went to a recent show of Lizzy Pattinson and Lee MacDougall in London and observed Lee spending most of the night with Lizzy and Rob's father. From their body language I think it is true that he is quite a close friend of the family. Therefore ironically, I know you think you are protecting Rob by refusing to endorse Lee, but you are maybe actually just being a bit rude towards one of his friends. Which probably wouldn't make Rob too happy. But you are of course entitled to you opinion, albeit one that you are piecing together without much real information x
And for the record I really enjoy his music x
