Remember Me in Moviehole-Clint's Top Movies of 2010

Moviehole- Clint's Top 10 Films of 2010
10. Remember Me

I remember getting an Atari for my 10th birthday. That was a big surprise. When I caught the top of those tiny ted joysticks atop of their black spongy controls, I knew my entry into double figure land was going to be one to remember. Wanna know what a bigger surprise was? ”Remember Me”! This truly out Gorfed Gorf and Swallowed Pac Man hole in terms of pleasant surprises – I kid you not. Say what you will about his sparkling work in those vampire pics, Robert Pattinson delivers one of the richest and most weighty performances of any actor this year with his uneasy son and lover at the center of director Allen Coulter’s love letter to 9/11 (yes, there is such a thing). Catch it on DVD – you’ll find it, unjustly, at the ‘bottom’ of the new releases shelf.

I agree, not enough credit for this movie or Rob, the movie itself was extremely moving and I don't care if people do or don't like Robert, Tyler was a very believable/genuine character. There was not a trace of Edward in his performance IMO. I bawled like an idiot at the end of that movie. I was upset with myself for not seeing it in the theater, although secretly thankful when I was sitting on my couch snotting all over.

I cried too. Look there is an real opportunity to market REMEMBER ME, this coming year. Sep. 11 2011, will be the 10th year anniversary of 911. Summitt could re-release or do an anniversary special on REMEMBER ME, if nothing else the DVD's should be marketed again. In fact, I've been sharing the DVD today (Christmas) with friends. They loved it.

It makes me cry, too. I also see it as a tribute to 9/11. Remember Me never got its due. The entire cast and production was excellent. Great idea, Anon 9:34. Maybe more people will have their heads out of the sand by then. Plus Water for Elephants and Bel Ami will have been released and maybe, finally, the anti-Twi naysayers will be too full of crow to keep blabbering about what they don't know.

I got this movie for Christmas. Of course I had seen It before in theatres and a couple times while renting it, but now I have it for myself. I watched it last night and even after about 10 times of seeing it it still made me cry. It makes me angry how hugely overlooked this movie really was. The story is so beautifully written and the actors were incredible. Especially rob, I was really surprised he didn't win an award for his performance. The whole movie was incredibly moving and inspiring. I recommend people watch this movie
