"It was a lot of the cast and crew," a source who was also at the restaurant confirms to E!. "They were in the private back room and seemed in great spirits. Everyone had a really great time."
"They were sitting down and talking together most of the dinner," dishes our insider who snooped at what was taking place in the private digs. "Wherever Kristen was, he was, and visa-versa."
"[Rob and Kristen] were holding hands at some point, and when they got up to mingle with everyone for a bit he kept his hand on her back," adds the source. "They were really cute. And no one in attendance seemed surprised at their affection."
People.com On screen lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are making no secret of their real-life romance while shooting the latest Twilight installment.
The pair, along with the rest of the film's cast, are now filming Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge, La., after a stop in Brazil, and have been seen getting cozy around the southern city.
Pattinson, 24 and Stewart, 20 recently joined about two dozen other cast members for a private dinner at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, but seemed to only have eyes for one another.
"Kristen and Rob were very couple-like," a restaurant source tells PEOPLE. "There was a lot of hand-holding, sitting next to each other. Everyone was talking around the room, but Kristen and Rob were just talking to each other, not really into the conversations everyone else was having."
At another outing to Cadillac Café, a strip-mall karaoke bar less than a mile from the studio where shooting is taking place, the two were spotted looking "very much a couple," says an onlooker.
"I mean, they weren't slobbering all over each other … but they sure looked like a couple and were talking with each other like a couple," the onlooker says. "They [seem like] a couple in love."
Well surprise, surprise! Not! lol Of course, they act like a couple because THEY are a couple.

I don't know WHY on earth people insist these appearances are all 'PR' and not real. The little bubble that they exist in goes far to disprove that theory. If it was just a 'PR' thing, they wouldn't shut out the rest of the world and only focus on each other. I love these two, the chemistry and obvious LOVE they show for each other is inspiring.....and hotter than HELL!!! (Right Sunny??)

Honestly, People magazine does not like Rob for some reason. He is never covered there and if he is, it is usually for some stupid reason. So irritating that they do not see this young man's talent. I mean come on; they chose Ryan Reynolds over Rob for Sexiest Man! Arrgh. But so glad they finally clued into a real loving relationship.

It baffles me after all the pics of them in brazil, shots of them leaving hotels together, all the sightings that people still wonder if they are a couple? I think until one of them does an on camera interview saying "yes we are in love/yes we got married" the nonstens are still going to try and make themselves believe that Rob is single and available. I think people overestimate how much R/K care about what mags or fans think of their relationship.
If it mattered to them they probably would have staged a very public showing like many celeb couples do by now.
I think they value their relationship and their privacy and the rest doesnt really matter to them. But that's jmo.

I think their 'bubble' just says what is obvious. They are in a relationship,and when you are in a relationship with somebody you are friends with, you enjoy spending time together. Me and my hubby have been together since 1994. He is my best friend, and we have our own bubble. That's the way it is.
Kudos to them for not caring about outsiders.
BTW- I love how we all project our own ideas into their relationships....
It's People magazine, a bit above US Weekly but not by much. I am sure that Rob and Kristen talked to others, it's just that the "witness" or "source" caught them while they were talking to each other, it was a moment during that dinner/party, and there were probably moments when they mingled with the others and talked to them.
Rob and Kristen are adorable together, both beautiful and being their own persons, not Hollywood types.

This 2 doesn't seem to run out of things to say to each other.They talk endlessly and just have eyes for each other.I just don't see that kind of tunnel focus in any other couples no matter how old they are.They're having dinner with some of the cast,but the concentration they have for each other was amazing.We just love it S.

You obviously don't know that "witnesses"/"sources" are fabricated by mags and tabs. People mag printed a nasty article about Rob in summer 2009 because he wouldn't give them an interview, basically accusing him of being a womanizer. It was full of mistakes. "People" is not what it used to be, it's not far from being a tabloid.

I absolutely love this site & all you fellow Robsten fans. Until I found this site I just had hopes R/K were really a couple. But, thanks to S. & all my friends that post comments I'm reassured daily! If only my 19 year old son could find a girl like Kristen. But, alas I fear she is one of a kind. Ugh, I so have the flu as I am writing this so don't really have the strength to read all the comments. I'll just say that Rob is the biggest sweetheart ever. That I LOVE Rob and Kristen as a couple like no other. That I SO think they are such unique and lovely individuals that the odds of them lasting together beyond Twilight filming is so incredibly strong. They are beyond beautiful as a couple. I love them both SO much! I look forward to both their projects individually and together. I want both of them to have successful careers beyond Twilight. They are both so talented and beyond lovely! I LOVE that they are able to have quality time together filming BD on the DL, although selfishly I'd love to see some pics. But I love they are able to spend time together on somewhat privately even if we only get to hear about it & not see it. Go Robsten! May you have a LONG and HAPPY relaysh together. That's all I want for them!
