Forbes.com In Hollywood it's all about the box office. If your film brings in big bucks, expect producers, studios and casting directors to come calling. Here are the actors whose films grossed the most in 2010. We gave each star credit for the entire global box office of each film he or she starred in. We didn't count animated movies.
For the sake of this list, we're only looking at box office gross. We looked at the earnings for the top films of the year and credited each star the entire box office. So if an actor starred in two big movies (like DiCaprio did) he got credit for both. We did not include animated films, although they were some of the top-earning of the year, because the stars aren't really the big draw for those films. Read the rest of the article at Forbes.com
#6 Robert Pattinson
$749 million
The Twilight films have been perennial earners, so it's no surprise to see Pattinson on this list. He ranks above his costar Kristen Stewart thanks to Remember Me, a weepy romance that earned a healthy $56 million on an estimated budget of $16 million. Pattinson's next film is an adaptation of the bestselling book Water for Elephants.
#7 Kristen Stewart
$698 million
Like her costar Pattinson, Stewart starred in a non-Twilight film this year. It didn't perform very well though. The Runaways brought in only $4.7 million. The final Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, has been divided into two films that are both sure to be big earners. The first hits theaters in November 2011.

I'm glad Forbes mentioned "Remember Me" as a "healthy $56 million on an estimated budget of $16 million."
But wish they had clarified that "The Runaways" never really had a wide release so its kinda unfair saying "it didn't perform very well."
But at least for the most part, they were positive about Rob and Kristen's earning power.
I wish both Rob and Kristen HUGE success in 2011 and beyond (both for Twilight and outside of the saga)!
I wouldn't be surprised if they top the list next year. Their "It didn't perform very well though." statement about The Runaways I don't think is fair. Seems more like it wasn't distributed very well. I live in a metropolitan area with a population of over 300,000 and the movie played here only for a few days and only at the one art house theater downtown that does very short runs of independent films and classics. None of the mainstream theaters played it even one day. The anticipation for the film was huge. Who hasn't heard of The Runaways? Or Joan Jett, who's still touring and killing it? Even the kids today know about Cherry Bomb and you could see the excitement about the film on YouTube and many boards across the Internet. I think if it had been more widely distributed, the box office could have reflected at least 10x the current number. It's a great film and it deserved a wide release. JMO.
I'm so pissed that the Runaways didn't even get screened here in my country....I had to buy the dvd via amazon and everyone I've shown it to have thought it was a good movie and Kristen and Dakota played their parts to a tee....
Yeah, I with all of you. Pissed at Apparition for their fuck-up in the distribution of TRA.
Here's wishing for a successful 2011 at the BO for both Kristen & Rob's non Twilight films.
Wonderful news. But I know I saw more than one of Stewie's films this year as well as The Runaways. Yellow Handkerchief and I also saw Welcome to the Riley's. Yes, they are small indie films and I loved them both.
My Stewie is fabulous.
I'm glad that they admitted that fact haha.. Expect an explosive 2011 for Robsten!
Merry X'mas everyone!
Kristen worked so hard on TR & absolutely nobody could have played JJ but her--she did it w/the utmost perfection! For what it's worth I LOVE YOU KRISTEN, YOU ARE THE BEST!
