I. Love. Him! He is always so nice and so real. And by the way, did you see his Saturday Night Live? The guy was amazing! One of the best hosts in recent years! And considering his status he's so sweet and grounded.

The Harry Potter books and movies swept me away before the Twilight Saga. Daniel was a great Harry Potter and he seems like a real nice guy. A friend saw him in New York recently and spoke highly of his theater performance. I wish him the best!
It's obvious that they are not friends.
Why do people always ask Daniel about Rob but never Rob about Daniel?
I love Daniel very much but i don't like 2 his costars! people always compare HP vs TWILIGHT and hate it!!!
Daniel is the sweetest guy! He is always so nice and funny in his interview, and he always has great things to say about Rob and the Twilight saga.
I wish him all the best in the future and hope he will go on to have an amazing career.
It's natural that twilight and HP are being compared because these two franchises became phenomenal. It sucks that there are people like that. However, I believe that each movie series is very successful in its own way and each was adored by different type of audiences. Harry Potter is adored by all walks of life because the material can be appreciated by young audiences to adults. Twilight on the other hand is a teen romance. Not all kids would appreciate that thus it gained less money in the box office compared to HP. However, when it comes to die hard followers, it's difficult to compare the two. Twilight has gained a tremendous hardcore followers and the stars became very popular even outside twilight saga
As much as I like Daniel, I think he drops Rob's name or the Twilight Saga to get publicity. I don't think he needs to do that and should not do that as it comes across as sneaky and contrived.
@Anon 4:12,that's very true about the comparrision of the die hard fans of Twilight to HP. Over the last three years,Twilight has kept gaining fans,while the momentum for HP has slowed down a bit. Like you said,Twilight has made less money,but that's due to the fact that it is fewer books than the HP series,which is seven. For me both sereies are great,but the HP series isn't one I'd read over and over again. I guess the reason why I can't get enough Twilight,is because it's a family drama,with a supernatural twist.
Just read an old EW article from prior to the 1st movie's release that sums up the biggest difference between the Twilight and HP films (and probably the Hunger Games, but have to wait & see) -> Catherine Hardwicke talking about Rob's audition with Kristen...."It was electric," Hardwicke says. "The room shorted out, the sky opened up, and I was like, 'This is going to be good.'"
And it (their connection on & off-screen) was good - very good...still is, & will continue to be...
@Marion 7:47, I agree with you. HP is different, Twilight if you take out the Vampire thing... wouldn't want to Robert is too amazing as Vampire Edward. It's an every day story. I've read the HP books, seen the movies and do have them. But, I read my Twilight books until the first and third one are falling apart. I do wish tho that interviews wouldn't ask the star of HP, HG about Robert. What can they say, they are been filmed... they have to be polite! Plus in my opinion Robert and Kristen have the most amazing chemistry I've ever seen on film.

But yeah I agree, people always ask about Twilight or HP to the other, it must be a bit awkward tbh! I mean they are completely different series' about completely different universes. I mean I get that they have their similarities but you can't really say one is better than the other(as some people do- it annoys me lol) I mean it just depends on the person doesn't it?Okay Rant over. lol
Anyway, love Dan and HP but love Rob and Twilight more, there you go lol. Thanks S

@Anon 9.06 - ITA! I've never heard anyone ask Rob if he keeps in touch with Daniel. Anyway, I don't agree with the other Anon who says that Daniel drops Rob's name on purpose. I think Daniel does not like being asked about Rob and I sense that there might be sth there, but I won't get into it because I can't be sure. Oh, and also whenever I see HP I think of Hewlett-Packard lol
I've missed you guys! I've missed commenting more regularly and all your comments...I've been so busy working late at night when the baby is sleeping that I only have time to pop in and see if sth earth-shattering has taken place.

DR seems to be nice, but the saga never hooked me. I have seen the movies, but not more.
Daniel is an incredibly nice guy. His interviews are always super fun to watch. I wish him the best after Harry Potter!
