I always think that Rob touched Kristen's hair on purpose in that VF photoshoot. It's like that's the closest he could get (at that time), which pained me. I'm incredibly happy that they have finally been together.

sniff ... Everybody who has made that experience himself knows the pain and torture. But for Rob it was much more painful I guess. Being close, kiss the girl, but only with hiding the true feelings, must be almost unbearable. Still today watching this and hearing these quotes grabs my heart. He must have been so unappy and happy at the same time. I'm so glad for both of them that they found each other.

Oh dear S, thank you. Kinda sad picture, yes. Which adds to my kinda sad mood today. It's so annoying, when you are in this gloomy mood and you don't even know why.
“Thinking he could never have what has always been his…” Yeah as much as I used to think in 2008 that there was no chance because of Kristen’s status and her strength, she’s always been his. Even when she was with someone else, if they’re meant to be she is his. And they were meant to be. He had to wait, she had to sort through things and then 3 years later, look at where they’ve come. I love the 3 years later thing. After all those assortment of clips where he’s fallen for Kristen, we get to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
2008 videos and pictures leave me to long for something that’s already come. I long to see them happy and together. So I try not to go back to watching videos of that time. We get a man who was pining for Kristen, who was hanging out with the toxic fake tanned females. And we get Kristen who was with someone she wasn’t meant to be with, who I don’t think knew the extent of Rob’s feelings, and who picked out a misleading horrible friend.
There’s one video that I’ll allow myself to watch on repeat if I do go back to 2008. It’s R/K to the song Obvious by Westlife. It made me wonder how they’d turn out. Would she recognise his crush? Would they be more?
How nice would it be to have a long video with multiple songs, where he’s pining for her and she’s clueless, and then bam it all changes.

I didn't join the fandom until after R/K got together - thankfully, as I'm way too sensitive for too much angst & drama! In fact, recently flounced Twitter cos of all the ridic sightings all over the globe - sticking to my happy place this year (here!) where we get pics, not speculation. I like retro vids, though, as I know that Rob won the heart of his princess eventually, and they both got a happy ending! Ahhhhh

Oh, Lib, this is exquisitely beautiful and painful at the same time! Like Misty said, every second of it is perfection! You can actually feel Rob aching for her, and can see how Kristen was drawn to him and didn't know what to do about it....and how beautiful to see what a difference those few short years make!! Oh, and I have to agree with @TwiHusband on his interpretation of the pic of R/K in Rome 2008. It always seemed to me that Rob was hurting in that pic. Such a thrilling journey it has been to watch them from that moment to this!

Awww God, this is about the time I was sucked into the blissful black hole that is Robsten.
I could not for the life of me believe that they were not together, it was so f***ing obvious to me. I could see the attraction and the longing in BOTH of them, but she was still with MA and I really could not see WHY? She must have been tortured as well, feeling this overwhelming emotions for this person while at the same time being in a relationship with someone else. She is very loyal. It was hard for her as well. She needed time.
SOOOO glad they did work their "collective shit" and were able to be with one another.

Hi all! Thanks for the vid Lib,such a great flashback...so much longing in his looks(VF shoot did me in..like so many others :)..so mesmerizing and I was hooked). AHHH maybe we are all seeing things (and I OBVIOUSLY don't know the real story)but damn in the VF shoot it looks like he wanted her badly and she looks fascinated & attracted to him (and obviously couldn't act on their feelings). They seemed so in tune with each other...it's really a beautiful shoot hoping for another outside VF shoot before BD2(like @Misty).
This morning I had to youtube one of my fav vids, the Rome filmfest interview when Rob and Kristen are so right on about E&B..plus they both look so vulnerable and sexy.

Libenet all your fanvids are special, you always seem to capture that certain touch or feeling or, I don't know, their love I suppose. I watched the Japan footage so often, there was something different about Rob, the looks he gave her, sometimes he seemed so sad. The mtv bit were she says "we're just good buddies", he looked so hurt, he could hardly hide it at all and than she looks up and frowns and he tries to smile. We will never know but I think the boy fell very hard and fast and didn't do a very good job in hiding it.

Loved the vid showing the begining of their love. Rob was just so taken by her and you cld see that she was very attracted and drawn to him but she stayed back and I guess just had to sort through things before moving forward.
I do remember and interview with Kristen where she says that "in the end you should always follow your heart" so I guess that is what she finally decided to do, and she never looked back, who wld when you have Rob standing in front of you.

@Mijaloow 3:25AM Feb1, i totally agree with you. I have never been so obsessed with any celebrity too. I am 35, married, as a midwife in HongKong. A typical and original Hongkonger grew up since HK still as British colony before 1997, and my mother tongue is cantonese. The whole surreal thing happened in Robsten is just like a miracle, love how they deal with it, and they just created some kind of contagious energy full of love, which makes me indulge in it. It's so interesting that i just know them about a year, in the year i can't help to look back all their films, works & interviews. Me too, i cannot tell anyone, as it seems so ridiculous that people will think i am just immature or insane to act like a teenage gals! (But i didn't ever get any star-struck in teenage!!!) I feel so lucky to find this Robsten's world incidentally, and be able to find common shares in here. No matter i always need to spend time on dictionary, i would love to do that until Robsten decided to leave the movie industry.
