Twilightish reports the "Final Total for our @CovenantHouse Fundraser for Kristen Stewarts Birthday"
Hi Friends,
Yesterday was the last day to submit donations to Covenant House. All fans, blogs and twitter partners raised a astounding $16,491.37 being donated in Kristen Stewart's name as of today!!
Twilightish would like to thank you for making this possible. Without all of you there would be no substantial amount going to help the Covenant house. We are all truly touched at the generosity of our readers and the readers of our partner sites. It gives us all great pleasure to present the Covenant House with this donation on all your behalf's. The Twilight fandom has always been an incredibly tight knit community and it is great to see that it still is. Once again, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts

Oh this is wonderful news! wow - all her fans putting all our positive feelings about Kristen to such a good cause - awesome. Sorry to be a pain - but what does the above person mean about the match? Been slightly out of the robstenation loop over the past few weeks!

Amazing! When the time comes and we know it will, I hope Josh Horowitz brings this up with Kristen. It would be nice to see her reaction.
I've never heard of a fundraiser where there's no PR, advertisement or even at the behest of a celebrity. This was all done on line by fans of Kristen Stewart.

@ANon 1.20 It was announced that whatever amount that was raised before the end of March was to be matched twice by Covenant House. That means $5=15.00, 10.00=30.00.

This is awesome, to see that more kids could be off street and have a chance to have a normal life due to this action. I'm amazed by what Kristen's fan did and of course the inspiration that Kristen has been given to people. She def. has been brought out the brighter side of us. Thank you all for inspire me to be a compassionate person for other as well.
So happy to know that the twifandom was able to invest their energy towards a good cause :D. I heard (on twitter) that Giovanni Agnelli emailed the "Fundraiser project" links to Kristen!! Atticus, I happen to know Colin Firth fans donating yearly for Oxfam. Never such hugh amount of money, though.
Chapeau!!! I saw WTTR today and you could tell that Kristen Stewart really knew what she was talking about when she said she wants to help those girls. I bet she's amazed by all of us now ;-) which is kind of nice for a change...

She was born with a purpose. Not just her talent in acting. Because we celebrated her birth her wonderful fans raised all this money.
