Gossip Cop has learned that Robert Pattinson will NOT be at the show.

Kristen Stewart is among the stars just added to Scream 2010.
She’ll be joined by Megan Fox, Alexander Skarsgard, Mickey Rourke, Chris Hemsworth and Marilyn Manson, in addition to previously announced celebs like Sigourney Weaver and Aaron Eckhart.
There will also be a tribute to the end of “Lost,” the premiere of footage from Scream 4, a 25th-anniversary celebration of Back to the Future, and a musical performance by M.I.A.
The event airs on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 19.
The event will be taped on October 16th at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Its a 3-hour or so flight from NOLA to LA or maybe Kristen just pretaped something for the show.

no!! what i don't get is why rob isn't going? his not doing any movies. i think his free but his not going? that doesn't many any sense at all. nikki and ashley aren't even nominated but i guess they are going cause eclipse is nominated. Oh well i can't wait to see kristen's dress she's going to look the best (:

Bummer - really wish he was going... I miss seeing him (and Kristen) in non-papz photos.
@ashley - Hopefully its okay for me to mention here, but there have been **rumored** sightings of him in Louisiana. If true, then that could be why he's not going.
Even if he's still in Los Angeles, I think their attendance is based on what Summit etc. says for the most part. Right now, doesn't look like Taylor (or anyone else) is going either.
Should we take this as Rob is not officially appearing as one of the stars who will be on stage but that possibly he could still show as his woman's escort, or absolutely, no way he won't be there at all?
To be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to the possibility of Rob attending the Scream Awards. I was way more excited about the possibility of him attending WTTR premiere but the producer already said there is no premiere, just a special screening so..

what? only girls?? hmmm... maybe the twilight boys has their own 'thing' going on that night. haha! its like girls vs. boys. love that! ;) its still kinda sad that they won't be seen together. but we survived TCA right? we'll definitely make it through Scream alive :) and it doesn't bother me that much because i know rob and kris are together right now not like the TCA where they were miles apart coz kristen is working.
There will be no premiere for WTTR in NYC. They already had one in LAFF months ago. There was only a press screening last Oct14th in prep for the press day on the 18th. I got an invite but couldn't go because the notice was too short. There will be another press screening in LA on the 19th.
Again, there will be no Rob at the Scream Awards.

oh now i know why his not going he has to do some BD stuff. Kristen's director for WTTR confirmed that kristen went to Louisiana. so im guessing rob went with her as well ;D

It's unfortunate Rob won't be there but I am looking forward to seeing what Kristen will be wearing..she always suprises me and she is always rocking in whatever she choses to wear..
Guess for now, the MTV Movie Awards are our only source of Robsten cuteness:-(..until next year!
@Maryxxx Lots of blogs got invites. It was the MammothNYC- company handling PR for WTTR -same company who handled TR promos.
@PrettyBrownEyes, The Scream Awards is a show handing out awards for horror, sci-fi, and fantasy movies. It is not that good, unless u like lots of gore and stupidity, it is a fanboy's dream award show. It is geared more to a male audience. Although I luv horror, sci-fi, and fantasy, however, this show has awards for the grossest scene in a movie, like an eyeball being cut out of an eye. It is that sort of show.
I've not heard any rumor about Rob going to the Scream awards.Who makes this stuff up?
OK I don't have to comment anything on Robsten, but oh my God, Ashley?? Just name one Hollywood event she wasn't and won't be in! I mean I like her but she is like the "Twilight persona" now! And it's like every week there is a new photoshoot of hers! Come on Ashley, take it easy honey!
Kristen must have won in her catagory and that is why she is appearing...taped speech or live. We will know soon(tonite) if she was there.
At least we can see her live on Regis. Cannot wait to see her hair. Just curious if it is back to Bella brown. She looks fab in any color.
