LATimes In the upcoming "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," Kristen Stewart's character, Bella Swan, becomes a mother. But that's a reality the actress says she has a hard time comprehending.
"My best friend just had a baby. She's my age. So I'm a godmom now, which is ... crazy," said the 20-year-old during an interview to promote her upcoming film "Welcome to the Rileys."
Asked if the experience was helping her tap into her own maternal instincts, she replied: "It's actually making me realize more that I have absolutely no idea. Like, I see that going on, and I'm like, 'Oh, my God.' "
Though "Breaking Dawn," the fourth installment in the “Twilight” franchise, doesn’t begin production for a few weeks, Stewart says she's already been caught up with preparations for the film. She's had a number of meetings with director Bill Condon and has even temporarily eliminated some favorites from her diet.
“I want a cheeseburger so badly, but, you know, I have to be a vampire in a few weeks,” she said over lunch at a restaurant in Topanga, where she settled for a veggie burger.
Ironically, she won't even be able to show off her figure for the majority of "Breaking Dawn."
“I’m incredibly pregnant in the first movie,” Stewart said, adding that she has spent the last couple of weeks trying on prosthetic bellies. “I’ve worn it. It’s ... crazy. I’ve done fittings. It gets immense. It gets so massive at some point that it actually looks inhuman. Like it’s hurting her. There are striations of bruises.”

But we don't see her hanging out with her own friends, no? I mean she's always with Rob's friends (who are probably her good friends now too, but do you know what I mean?)
anyway, I can't wait to see her portraying a mom, especially in BD because it's with Rob as a father.
Haha wow I can only imagine how big the belly will be and how funny it will be on set in between takes, people poking fun at her esp. Rob and Taylor. lol Can't wait!

@J Uhmm we do not see her 24/7, we only see her being papped with Rob and his friend/s so who is to tell that she doesn't hang out with her girlfriends, too. She is great in this balancing act, remember her roadtrip?
I heard that the baby is Britni Coy's...is that true? People keep saying that she was pregnant a few months ago, but idk.
I'm so excited to see Kristen pregnant i BD, I bet she will look beautiful! Well, they probably have to put a lot of make up on her to make her look sick and tired, but still, will be very exciting! :D
J, I was wondering that too, who she hangs out with besides Rob and her actor friends and the people we see her with. I've never heard her say she had a best friend or anything. That's cute. I always wondered if she had "regular people" friends she hung out or if it's just easier to hang with other actors. Anyway, none of our business but, you know...curiousity. :)

I thought Kristen and Britni Coy weren't friends anymore and that she was now a stripper called Holly Pure? I once went onto her facebook and twitter and saw her bashing Kristen a lot on it.

But Shaui you're right, she had a roadtrip, too! Maybe this best friend is a friend of Scout's too! The thing is that we see Rob's friends because I guess they're more famous!
Well Kristen has a bunch of best friends. She usually says "one of my best friends" when talking about Taylor or Nikki but we know neither one of them had a baby recently. LOL! So I'm sure its just another one of her friends that are very close to her. Congrats to her on being a new godmother! :)
@J and @Violet..I have seen pics of Kristen with some friends and they weren't anyone I particularly recognized so my assumption was they were "regular friends". Granted these were from when she and Rob were not a couple yet but it's quite possible that she kept her connections with them. In previous interviews she has also mentioned some friends from school whom she has kept in touch with. And Shaui is right, we don't really see her 24/7 so during some of her downtime in LA, I would think that she would hang out with some of her "normal friends". She is so grounded that she does a good balancing act kind of like Rob with his Brit pack.
Talking about the pregnancy and prosthetic bellies, I am hoping (okay, just hoping mind you!) that maybe when she learns more about pregnancy and having babies in preparation for BD, she will at some point feel more comfortable with the thought and consider what a joy babies are esp. babies with Rob...(just a thought!). It will really be quite interesting to see how Kristen will look pregnant and what Rob will think when he sees her pregnant.

She often says her characters stay with her for awhile after she is done filming. I wonder if the wife/mother aspect will stay with her next year?
KStew was fitted for a belly-how cool is that? I too wonder if Rob was with her or what he thinks about the idea? After all, at comic con last year she said she can't wait to get pregnant and they shouldn't wait, so let's see how long it takes her after BD gets done and not that her BF had a baby, maybe she will want to have one now too-Why wait?

The truth is we don't see Kristen 98% of the time. We don't see pics of her with her parents a lot but I assume she still sees them. Kristen is rarely papped. She's very good at not being seen.

can you imagine growing up and going to 3rd grade and being like yea kristen stewart is my godmother?!...totally wild!
I wonder if Kristen is purposely losing weight to make herself look sickly for the parts of BD where she is pregnant. The book states that the fetus won't allow Bella to take in any nutrition, like it's starving her and sucking the life out of her. Maybe they are shooting those scenes first, because she can always put the weight back on for the other parts of the story.
i think the Holly/Britni twitter is fake cuz its her who had the baby, Kristens brother has facebook and mentioned that she was pregnant i think they are close cuz to name her her babys godmom is a very sweet thing !!
and thinking about it dont u guys think that motherhood is now a constant thing in Kristens life? not just BD ,her costar Amy Adams had her baby 3 months b4 doing OTR, her friend naming her Godmother , the way she talks abt Mackenzie, she seems giddy ! i truly think that its a sign of things to come !

its good that her best friend had a baby, then she and rob can practice on being parents by visiting her.. i believe that kristen is going to be a good godmom. she loves baby, remembering when she was at arizona airport and she was smiling and playing with a baby. and think rob loves baby too, said that on the twilight convention. love that kristen has tried out bellies, its so cute. she will look adorably.
No one knows if it was Britni Coy she was talking about. It is possible Kristen has friends fans are not aware of.

Hi Shaui, I've been working crazy hours so just now catching up on everything, your the best you have everything covered!!!!..Kris looked wonderful, aw being in love does wonders :). I can't wait to see WTTR i think it will really show what Kris is made of and the actor that she is! the britni coy twitter account is fake guys, don't be so gullible. A troll/hater of Kristen made a fake twitter account of Britni with her stolen pictures and posted unkind words to Kristen. Please do not believe that crap.
I believe the one she is talking about is Britni since Taystew mentioned it in his FB account. If Kristen said that she is her BFF then let's not doubt that. Naming her as a godmom shows that they are still very good friends.

oh, this post is fun.
i'm imagining what's gonna happen and who's gonna get some ideas about parenthood ...
naturally, i think it's gonna b rob. he's the one who wants to b a young dad. and as he proved to us so far with his bold persistency, what rob wants rob gets.
so if rob puts his mind to it, kris will be helpless (in addition to clueless) against him.
it's gonna be a lot of fun.
I am curious to see what Kristen looks like with the prosthetic belly, and I'm sure it will stir up lots of, uhm, interesting thoughts and conversations between her and her man.....but, I sooo hope that they wait for a while to have that gorgeous baby that we all know they will have.....that Robsten bubble is just so sweet right now, I want to be selfish and just enjoy them having each other.....babies are wonderful, don't get me wrong, but but I hope they wait until they are a bit older! Just my opinion, though :)
Ok. Just b/c her brother said Britni was having a baby doesn't mean that Kristen was talking about her. She may have been but again she didn't say that. We don't know and shouldn't be so presumptious.

BTW it seems that it IS Britni Coy that she's talking about. On Britni's facebook she has a picture with her baby. And there is a picture of Kristen and one of her brothers (I'm not sure which one)with the baby. and you can clearly see that is Kristen.
