Kristen's performance is electric. Truly worthy of an Oscar nod. I hope critics won't miss this one out.
And to think she is just 20. I can't help but feel so excited for her career in the next 5 or so years. Her potential is endless.

Damn, this clip gave me chills!! Kristen is beyond amazing! I think she deserves an Academy Award nomination for this movie, and that is just based on this little clip. She will blow me away when I see the full movie, can't wait!
I really looking forward to this movie, she is really good in this one. That clip show how good of a actress she is. How cares that her language it a little bit vulgar. This is a really story, this is how some girls live. I am really looking forward to see this one.

As I agree it would be nice for her to get an Oscar nod...I am thinking we better not hold our breaths. Listen..she is a very good actress BUT between now and when the noms come out there will be plenty of other movies and actors/actresses in the mix for nods. The words "Oscar Buzz" get thrown around way too freely..so who knows. I have read many oscar predictions for this year and the lists tends to change on a daily basis. So as her fans I think even though we want her to get an oscar nod...it may not happen with this movie but we can obviously see that she can act outside of the Twlight Saga.
Same goes for Rob.
Just my opinion.

Kristen is absolutely amazing in this movie! I cannot wait to see it. I mean, I hope it comes to a theater near to my house because I don't want to have to wait for it to come out on DVD... She deserves that Oscar nom and I hope she gets it-- all the emotion she shows is just so real and believable. I agree with Rob that I think she's the best actress of our generation!!!

Hi everyone, haven´t been here in awhile.
This is incredible, I can´t recognize her, she is that good.
I remember stating before about Rob´s performance in LA and RM about him transforming in to the characters, that you sometimes just see the character and not him. This is exactly how Kristen is in this movie, this is definitely not Kristen Stewart playing a young striper, this is Mallory giving us her story.
She is incredible, but this is not news to me, I´ve always admired her in everything she´s done, I remember seen her in Speak and after Twilight I saw it again and thought that I didn´t remember seeing her in it, I did remember the young girl in it, she totally becomes the characters which is just masterful.
I agree with you Shaui, I hope the critics see her in this and I do believe she´s ready for an Oscar or at leased an Oscar nom.

You just feel so bad for this girl. Kristen plays mallory really good. You just want rob to come and save her,=). Kristen is really talented actress, she deserve an award for this one. hope people can se how talented she is. There is few people that have moved me and fascinated me in 1, 32 min. OK so I totally love Kristen, and I'll totally like to watch this movie.
Now, I have a question. It mught sound super stupid but How old do you need to be to watch an R rated movie by yourself, without adult supervision??
I'm about to turn 17 next month, and I've always thought that you need to be 18, but I asked my friend and she said 17. So I'm confused.
If the answer is 18, let me just say one thing. Rating a movie R for vulgar languale is effin lame. These days teenagers talk a lot worse than that, plus they watch like a million porn videos a day(not me). seriously. I don't know what I'll do if I can't see this movie, I've been waiting for it since ages, and if I can't see it i'm going to be pissed.
What a sad story. K is really convincing. And Gandolfini is totally under rated.
If we don't get to see it locally, I'm sure it will be out to DVD quickly. They usually are.
@Yoshi-In the US you have to be 17 in order to see an R rated film. Since you said you're turning 17 soon,you should be able to go see it.

wow. there are no words. she is so unbelievably amazing. i feel like this will rival her performance in speak, in terms of how moving and affecting it is. i dont know why, but EVERY TIME i see her on screen i am reminded of two very specific actors: jack nicholson and marlon brando. its funny because im not the only one who has compared her to those people, and its no coincidence that they are probably THE greatest actors of all time. wow. she truly amazes me in every way. the clip almost upset me because you so understand/feel what she is feeling- its like she jumps off the screen and isnt in a movie, you know?
For the love of God, she blows me away! I am, once again, bawling my eyes out...practically. She is beyond amazing...awe inspiring and phenomenal! I CANT WAIT to see this movie! Now if the theaters around here would just cooperate already... Otherwise I am heading to NYC next week!! I can't miss this one! I love her and from these clips alone I think she should be nominated! She's amazing, just like Rob always says... and we all KNOW!!
Wow..that was quite a heavy scene but Kristen carried the weight easily. Jake Scott recognized Kristen's talent very early on and he was able to draw out all that anger and ferocity without any difficulty. Kristen has a very very bright future ahead of her; even if the Oscar statue doesn't land into her hands right now, an Oscar nom will definitely pave the way.
This was an amazing clip. Kristen and James nailed it. I felt the chills in my bones. Like I said in an earlier post, only a few more hours until I see this wonderful movie.

I have bee around for a long time seen many movies, I wonder why a young actress that I first saw in "speak" , after that performance I bought all her dvd's and I think she is amazing, I look forward to seeing her future films . If Kristen is an example of this generations talent wow whats to come.
