Rob and Kristen in Scott Feinberg's List of Top Acting Talents Under 30

In case you're curious, Scott Feinberg is one of the film industry’s most trusted analysts and has one of the world’s strongest track records at forecasting the Academy Awards.

YOUNG’NS: 30-AND-UNDERS POISED TO CRASH OSCARS IN RECORD NUMBERS
ScottFeinberg.com Over the past decade (2000-2009), only 24 of 200 nominations for acting Oscars have gone to individuals who were 30 years old or younger (at the time of the nominations announcement); of those, only 6 went to men (4 for best actor and 2 for best supporting actor), while 18 went to women (11 for best actress and 7 for best supporting actress); and in no year did more than 5 of the 20 nominees fall into that demographic (that happened once, but in most years the number was 1 or 2). There is, however, reason to believe that these trends will be halted, if not reversed for the long-term, when this year’s nominations are announced on January 25, 2011.

I find ample reason to believe that on that date, as many as 8 nominees — and possibly more — could still be 30 or younger. The most likely candidates: Jesse Eisenberg (“The Social Network”) for best actor, Andrew Garfield (“The Social Network”) for best supporting actor, Anne Hathaway (“Love and Other Drugs”) for best actress, Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”) for best supporting actress, Jennifer Lawrence (“Winter’s Bone”) for best actress, Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) for best actress, Hailee Steinfeld (“True Grit”) for best supporting actress, and Justin Timberlake (“The Social Network”) for best supporting actor.
Following is an extensive list of Hollywood’s top actors and actresses who are currently 30 or younger, with those who gave standout performances in 2010 appearing in blue. (Some, such as “Blue Valentine” stars Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, will turn 31 prior to the nominations announcement, which is the primary reason for why they are not included among the names listed above.)

Awww, feel like a proud mama! :)
I do believe that both Rob and Kristen are headed for Oscars in their future careers, they make smart choices and are great actors. But some of the people on this list kind of surprise me, I wont name anyone so I wont offend anyone, but not all of them deserve to be on that list in my opinion.

Well, DUH!!!! We KNOW how talented they are. I know we sometimes lose our focuses because they are just so gorgeous and hot and sexy...and HOT...but they are also talented. Put down Twilight all you want (you critics!!!!) but they do a tremendous job as Edward and Bella.

other than the social network have any of these movies been seen by the general public?and already talking about oscars? I guess all that matters is if the critics like them ;(

@ Jess- I know, Miley Cyrus? I have a little trouble with that one, too. She's talented but I would not say she is Oscar material. To be fair, though, I haven't seen any of her work, except the hannah montana movie which, I thought, stunk.
Rob was fabulous in Remember Me and I saw How To Be; He was hilarious, just the right mix of pathetic angst and humor. I was captivated by Robs dedication to his work in the dvd extras- how he was making different facial expressions until the director was satisfied. (Brilliant!)
As far as Kristen goes, everyone knows she's the sh*t. Everyone she has ever worked with says the same things about her. She is wonderful, amazing, creative, expressive and above all talented with a bright future. No surprises there!

WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET ANOTHER DATE NIGHT? I need a fix.

I do believe the Twilight Saga is the elephant in the room when it has anything to do with Rob and Kristen's career or Oscar aspirations. However, they both can overcome that because they are such versatile actors. Rob and Kristen can play so many varied roles, it is a shame that many critics have a bias to them when it has anything to do with the Twilight Saga. It is members of the Academy who vote for their specific branch and no critic or fans have an opportunity to cast a vote, I guess that is why they have The People's Choice or many Critic Awards shows. I am so thrilled that both Kristen and Rob are on this list. Some of these people on this list have already received academy award nominations and only time will tell what the others on this list will do but I know in my heart these two are headed for far better movie roles and movie glory.

I hope they win an acting award soon! they both deserve it. im so happy for them. they are like each other's lucky charm. they inspire each other so much. i always believe that they are individually creative and talented but together,oh my, they become this giant unstoppable force to reckon with. God bless Robsten!!

All the critics LOVE to do is put down twilight..That is their speciality..why?? because most of them are 50 year old middle-aged men so I guess it is understandable...makes a lot of sense now guys..LOL.

Anyway, Twilight aside, they are fantastic actors. For sure, they are bound to win an oscar...i am very sure of this..Miley Cyrus?????..all i have to say is if Miley is on this list Rob and KRisten will MOST definetly win an oscar someday.
