Anonymous said...: @Anon 6:35PM Yes Kristen wears the brown contacts in all of the movies but they're regular contacts. It's my understanding from the rest of the cast that the contacts they wear are thicker and not at all comfortable plus they're very hard to see out of sometimes. Rob said a lot of acting is done with the eyes and it's a little hard to convey what he's trying to get across sometimes. There was also an incident where Peter hit I believe Nikki with his hand and he didn't know it. He thought he hit a tree. The colored contacts they wear cuts off the peripheral vision.

RobStenation said...: @Anon 6.35 Yep, Theresa is correct. Kristen only had to wear regular contacts, as for the yellow contacts of the Cullens, they are specially hand-painted custom lenses which are very painful during insertion and bothersome to use.; December 1, 2010 10:21 PM
Anonymous said...: @Theresa Thanks for the info about Rob saying he does a lot of acting with his eyes. I'm not the one who asked the question, but it does clear something up for me. As much as I love the first Twilight, something has always bothered me about some of Rob's facial expressions as Edward and I could never put my finger on what it was. Now I think it has to do with the expression in his eyes just not matching up with what I expect. I always thought it was his limited experience, now I think it's the contacts prevented him from really emoting with his eyes, if that makes any sense. Funny how I don't mind it in NM or Eclipse. Maybe he's learned to work around the contacts limitations emotionally. Regardless, he has sexy down to a science.; December 2, 2010 12:41 AM
