yeah remember rome 2008 kristen arrived with her ex but they had a big fight in the limo things were coming to end right there you can see it in photo but something better was beginning lol

I have never seen these either. Kristen did break up with Michael during that time and it looks like she was discussing it with Rob and he looks like he is walkng on egg shells, not believing his good fortune of finally getting Kristen.

I think that was the time when Rob had some kind of breakdown in Rome and Kristen helped him through this. I just read his interview somewhere on this particular time, when they realized how big this Twilight thing was. MA was in Rome as well. However, you could tell how close they were even then... It's probably a good thing that they were friends before they became lovers
@Jane Again we cannot be 100% sure of that. It was very clear that KS and MA were still together until April 2009.
@MaggieJane I agree with you I also think this was that time. He was so overwhelmed with emotion and didnt realize he was crying. Kristen asked him and was there for him. I think their foundation as friends really is very solid and that is why they are so good together.

well, it looks to me that kristen is the one confiding with rob about something on that pic and not the other way around. and rob is just listening intently. i remember how kristen loves that 'he listens and he feels' (which is not common to all guys) gaaaah! yeah i agree there's a deeper connection between them, not just physical attraction. they're bestfriends, soulmates even. im about to cry right now...waaaa!! love you robsten :)
@Khou lol Of course it happened. And I'm not delusional, I can still separate what is FF and what is not. It wasn't this exact instance though, as Kristen said in an interview. I cant remember where. They were about to go on stage or be out in public, then she noticed Rob was tearing up. He himself didtn even realize it. One thing I'm sure is that happened in Rome. Anyway, I sent you a bit about it and will look for the whole interview.

when I seen the presscons of Rome, where CH, RP and KS are sitting on stage and Kristen touches his elbow, he was so quiet, softly spoken, absent minded almost sad I really thought there was something wrong with him cause he wasn't his smily self, now I understand. That picture is so telling of how close they were as friends, the start of something beautiful.

The one part I remember of Rome was when Rob talked about being like Edward and that he would be with one person and that was it. The video shows Kristen looking on and they all look sullen. Was this the same time Shaui?
Oh...my point being to my last comment is that IMO I felt Rob was sending Kristen a strong message that he would be with her only if she would give him a chance at a relationship. Am I crazy??!!

Hope - i agree with you i think (speculation) lines were starting to be drawn in the sand here, i think it was kristen who seemed unhinged in all the rome interviews not rob - he seemed perfectly happy except when she was talking to him privately on red carpet (his face dropped - see video) and this pic - he was in my opinion starting to tire but remained a solid friend until she made her choice i don't believe they were in some sort of weird love triangle at the time just friendship bubble zone but an uncomfortable almost intimate one and three is a crowd
