Breaking Dawn Part 1 is Ranked Second Most Anticipated Film of 2011

Access Hollywood ranked Breaking Dawn Part 1 as #2.  Number 1 went to Harry Potter's last hurrah. I think I am the only one not anticipating Harry Potter's last installment.  HP only made sense to me when Cedric Diggory was alive lol. Sorry, that is just my opinion, no offense meant for big HP followers. Check the complete list HERE

2 – “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part I”
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner
Directed by: Bill Condon
Release date: November 18, 2011

Why we’re excited: Why aren’t we excited is the better question. What better way to kick off the beginning of the end of “The Twilight Saga” then with a little vampire-human wedding & honeymoon action! Plus, we all know what happens on the honeymoon, right???… Room service! No? Hmm. OK, how ‘bout this — “There will be sex scenes – multiple sex scenes,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg previously told Access Hollywood of the romance we’ll see between Edward and Bella. Hey now! Summit has yet to announce exactly where the “Breaking Dawn” storyline will be split, but Part I will begin to put the bow on this pop culture-transcending saga, which has turned vampires and werewolves from cheap Halloween decorations to every kid’s favorite supernatural bestie. Whether you’re Team Edward or Team Jacob or even Team Whatever Happened To That Nice Rachelle LeFevere, grab your lawn chairs and get in line – there’s only 14 months until opening night – knowing the “Twi-Hards,” the good seats are probably already taken!

And to include in 'our list' are 'Water for Elephants', 'On The Road' and 'Bel Ami'. Pfft! Who cares about their list anyway? lol

I agree with you about the whole HP thing. I haven't read 1 book or even seen 1 movie the whole way through. I agree with your additions of WFE and OTR and BA. I started reading OTR but am finding it hard to get into. What did you think of it. Loved WFE.

I'm with you Shaui. I may be the only person on the planet who hasn't read even one HP book, and I'm a reader. But I have read the Twilight Saga 5+ times (smile).

haha Shaui..bb girl, you are not the only one. I could care less yeah, my friends think im strange since they claim they grew up wtih HP..Never caught HP fever..I guess I am much more into romance novels..If it wasnt for the romance in twilight I dont think I wouldve ever continued..yep, I am a hopless romantic :-) For the record, Ellen i havent read a single HP book either you're not the only one.

I have read all the HP books, and seen all of the movies several times. I really like all of it, but not like I LOVE Twilight! The Deathly Hallows 2 is on my list for must see movies of 2011, but it's definitely not at the top!

geesh a lot has been going on !
i've been so busy with work and school. I have missed it here !
BD is the #1 anticipated on

I agree with you Shaui, the only HP I saw and liked was the Goblet of Fire one. I tried reading the books but they were just TOO boring for me, no offense to any HP fans that read this. And I'm glad you made a list for us, too, our list is wayy more exciting than theirs. (: Haha. <3

Are you kidding!! ??? Really?? Who voted on this list??? No interest in HP.....14 months seems like an eternity for BD.
Cannot wait to see On the Road....more than any other movie because of Kristen and Tom..and everyone else in cast.

OMG, HARRY POTTER IS LIKE THE BEST SAGA EVER O.O haha, seriously, for the people who didn't even TRY to read it: read it please ... it's just amazing.

RobStenation said...

@J We do respect your opinion, at least I do. 'The best saga ever' is subjective anyway. At least for the readers on my blog- that will be Twilight. All is good. No need to for drama. Sorry, I really just don't get Rowling's make-believe world.

i don't know shaui, i am not a harry potter fan at all. i never followed one book at all. BUT since they wanna make HP the #1 most anticipated movie for 2011 you know that we all gotta get out there and spend our money and make BD successful.

J said...

Yeah, it's my opinion. Twilight is really really good too, the 4th book just kinda ruined it for me :S(except for the wedding and the honeymoon). I just wanted to say that the HP books are good books to read. I had no bad intentions with this.

Hsrry who??? Just kidding and no offense to uber HP fans. Never read the books although my daughter loves them (not like she loves the Twi saga though) and only watched the HP Goblet of Fire because of Rob.
Yes, WFE, OTR and Bel Ami should def be mentioned on the movies to watch list for 2011. And yes Shaui, BD is #1 on our list for sure!
Hi Twilightnan, how was your weekend, lola?

The fact is, HP and Twilight are two totally different genres. Thats prob why most people here dont get it/like it... I think it was voted #1 bc of how long it has taken them to make all the movies and finish the series. Twilight is lucky that there they dont have to stretch it over 10+ years haha

Who gets to vote on their list,10yr olds.....it's all kinds of wrong....

@J ITA with you, as much as I love the first three movies and books in the Twilight Saga, the 4th was a disappointment, however, it is Rob I adore, and if it wasn't for HP we would not probably have our lovely Edward. HP put Rob on the film scene (Vanity Fair does not count because he landed on the cutting floor), so it is actually a tie, with a little bit towards HP because it is the last of the franchise. BD 1 I am actually looking forward to because of the wedding and honeymoon. I hope that lives up to our expectations and Bill Condon gives us a wedding and honeymoon to remember. I want to see some Edward and Bella loving, flying feathers, and wrecked headboards. No drama here I respect everyone's opinion, I do agree, why is WFE not on that list?

What?Oh men...Twilight Saga is the best,no Harry Potter!!!!!How create this list is an idiot!!!

Funny everyone, talking about HP, I remember when the first one came out and I was teaching inter-medial english and most of my students wanted to start reading a book and that one was suggested, so I read it for there sake, sort of liked it, not my cup of tea but it was fun, in 2007 my new students started suggesting books for our english class and Twilight came to the top of the list, and yeah even boys like it, so I read that, loved it and have never looked back!!

I used to read out loud the HP books to my first baby-belly and that calmed him down (probably board him to sleep, hahaha, just kidding, no offence) and I did the same to the second baby-belly with the Twilight books and also calmed him down but as soon as I stopped reading (was quiet) he´d kick, so I guess he was paying attention, and my boys and I are on dif teams they are team Jacob (he´s shark boy what can I say, and they love dogs, hahah) and I am team Edward, so they liked the movies and all (after lots of editing from my part they love the wolf shitting thing in new moon)
So don´t be sad, enjoy what u like and let everyone do the same, we can all be happy, after all I love Edward just as much as I love Cedric (even if he was younger, in it, ok, love him like I would bake cookies for him and read him bedtime stories, smutty stories, I mean nice ones, hahaha)
So let´s play together, it´s fun!!

i never compare HP to twilight,to me they are appeal to different audiences.
anyway def the last installment of twilight will be epic(i hope so at least)and yes we want sex.lol
damn pg13.lol

for the record, bc some people are mentioning it being a childs book... thats not accurate. Thats like calling Twilight a childs book and we all know how wrong that is. The fans of HP are grown adults now and still just as dedicated as ever. I am 26 for god sakes. Not 12. lol

IDK I like both movies, but I'm a fan of R & K. I really don't associate Rob w/ Harry Potter. I mean yes he was Cedric, but seriously, it's not like it started his career the way Twilight did.

I most excited for OTR b/c not only is Kristen in it, but it is one of my favorite books.

I can't wait to see BA too and lastly WFE. I just couldn't get into that book.

I've never read any HP book and only saw 1 HP movie in tv (don't even remember the title - no Rob in it though :)

I have read and seen all the Harry Potter books and movies GOF being my fav on both counts, but I love the Twilight Saga were as I only like the Harry Potter books.

Twilight I could not put it down but HP was a little slow and dragged on abit it some places for me, OotP being the worst in my opinion. It was the slowest of them all.

I have to say that if we need to gear up to prove them wrong, we can definitely do it.

I have read all the HP books. When my son was 10ish (he turned 19 yesterday) sigh time flies. Anyway he was given as a present for his birthday the first book. While he was reading it, he quited doing all kinds of things he loved doing, like riding his bike, playing football, hung out with his friends etc. I was so worried that I started reading it myself to see what my son was into. I loved it. I always had an issue about wizards and witches. They fascinated me and fairies too. We went together to watch the films, we got mugs and all. I introduced them to my English lesson students too. They loved it and I made my teaching life easier.
Then years went by and almost three years ago one of my BOY students, persisted on my reading a vampire book. I told him off not just once and every time he brought up the book, I kept on telling him Pluuuuze, you are not gonna make me read the damn book. Anyway I saw the movie, actually I was drugged to watch twilight, the rest is history, but I had to add this little thing, twilight had changed my life literally. It was like someone had blown fresh air through my mouth to my lungs and then right to my heart. It had me waken me up on so many levels,it had me believed in love and the right to be in love under any cost if you feel it's worth it. Sorry about my rand.

@dina I agree with everything you said about Twilight "waking you up", my friend introduced it to me (on Kristen's birthday of all days, although I didn't know at the time, of course), and I kinda got hooked from there. I'm so glad that I went to her birthday party now, lol.

I used to love HP, but then I got tired of it, and sold all the books on eBay. (except Goblet of Fire :D).

I've been writing really long comments recently, Im sorry about that Shaui and all you guys :)

The only HP book I've read is GOF. Gee, I wonder why? :)

Twilight is definitely my fav series of all time. I've never been so addicted! I actually really like Breaking Dawn the more times I read it. Although I do admit, it is the most "out there" book of the series. I am SO curious how they are actually going to film some of the scenes. But am looking forward to it so much! Esp. the sexy time scenes! Lol. :)

BD is #1 on my list, with all the rest of R/K's projects in 2011 tied at #2!! Can't wait to see every one of them!! 2011 is going to be a great year!!

sharilee said...

Oh, forgot to add that I read the first HP book and was not impressed enough to read another one. Fell asleep halfway through the first movie on DVD. Just not my thing. I respect the success of the franchise, obviously it's somebody's "thing"---but there's nobody but Edward and Bella for me!!!
