To say I love this post is the understatement of the year!
I can see this. I love Katharine Hepburn as well and I can actually see some of her in Kristen. She was an edgy woman in her movies. She also had a good sense of humor, although a lot of people didnt get her. Love this comparison. Rob hit this one on the nose.
Oh man I can see this comparision. I love Katharine Hepburn movies. If you watch any of her old interviews you see an edge to her that a lot of people didnt get, but she was phenominal. I can see some Katharine in Kristen. Rob hit this one right on the nose.

I'm wary of non live interviews, but if it's accurate, then I can see his point. Kristen doesn't resemble KH pyhsically imo, but they're both honest and strong avant garde artists for sure. @lala, you have the cutest cat! I bet Kristen would love him.

They are/were both strong women and good actrices. Kristen is a natural beauty though, I don't mean to sound shallow, but for me Kristen has an extra edge (yeah I don't mean Rob, ha. Do we have to read between the lines again like usually with Rob. You go and tell them about your girl, Rob.
oh my gosh S, LOVE all of this! the comparison is uncanny to me...these pics show alot right there; it's amazing...S, did you know that she was very athletic as well? swam almost everyday!...I've watched so many of her old interviews & she was such an incredible, strong woman...very in your face & ballsy as I just said @the other post...alot of people just didn't understand her...& she never conformed to other poeple's ideas on anything...even her style of acting was her own! I've seen so many of her movies & was heartbroken when she died...well now..Chanel, BB suit, cigs, athletic, passionate, strong, lover of books, natural beauty, highly intelligent, & most of all the 2 best dang actresses on the planet,lol..um, a resounding YEAH, there's a lot of similarities between these 2 outstanding women...love it...& I can see why Rob would too...mahalo for this S & I adore the collage!!...p.s. can ya tell I live in the south now cause I said dang,lol...aloha all y'all (oops, there it is again,lol)...

Katherine Hepburn is my favorite actress of all time, Kristen is a close second. I agree they seem to have the same personality type. But physically, except for the same slender build I think in some of these pictures she looks exactly like a young Elizabeth Taylor. Actually when I first saw them in the magazine, that is who I thought it was. Also the love story of Spencer and Katherine is heart-breaking. They had a life long love although he was married and could not divorce as he was Catholic and the church excommunicated those who divorced back then and branded the children not a nice name. So glad some things have changed. I wonder if they are in Heaven together. Just some musings. Love your blog, love the peace and happiness that is always here. Love Rob and Kristen and wish them always the best in life.
That Harper Bazaar interview was cute and refreshing. They were so open about talking about each other. Now it's like they are mums the word about each other. I get why there is a difference, but still just talk about each other.

I was just looking in youtube when Katherine H. was talking about meeting S. Tracy for the first time. Even she is old but still you could tell how excited she was telling the story. After meeting her, Spencer said to his friend she had "dirty fingernails". Ahh, it reminded me when in Eclipse they had to cleanup Kristen's nails because it was so dirty, for the last scene when Bella was putting the ring on.

Love this post! Rob is so right. I don't know how I didn't see it myself. I love Katherine Hepburn and Kristen so does have many of her traits, the most obvious being that she's a very strong, intelligent, independent woman. Rob and Kristen are such a mesmerizing couple. I would have thought by now I'd have moved on and my interest would surely have faded in our young duo, but no, if anything I just completely love the both of them more. It's so sweet and wonderful how Rob knows and loves his woman, such a rare gift, and he knows so much more. He's so well read and rounded in the arts, and it's not junk--it's the best of the best, the best writers, the best music. He has such good taste, and of course he does, look who he picked out of practically all the women in the world. And he's such a gentleman. I'm so happy for each of them that they have each other. They are practically the poster children for what can become of good parenting. Bravo, kudos, and thank you to the parents, Pattinson and Stewart!
That's F' ing awesome. Jezus...I wonder if those two peruse these blogs. It would be interesting to see/hear their reactions to posts like this. When and if any of you lovelies ever meet them, you should inquire...I'm being serious BTW! I highly doubt I'll ever meet either of them but it would be an interesting question to ask. Just sayin. Make sure if it comes up you give props to S's blog cause it's the best IMO. :) She rocks, but we all know that............
