The New Moon star wins big, accepting three awards on stage, even beating out Robert Pattinson for Choice Male Hottie (who won last year with Megan Fox) and Choice Movie Actor Fantasy.
So was their any bitter blood between the costars who were seated next to each other? And how did Kristen Stewart's absence affect the show?
First off, Taylor and Rob couldn't have been more supportive. Or couldn't care less, you decide. After losing Choice Hottie not even 30 seconds went by before he looked super happy deep into convo and laughing with Ashley Greene.
Whenever Lautner won, Rob would clap and smile and touch his hair reminding us why he's still our choice hottie, and when Pattinson won for Choice Movie Actor in the drama category for Remember Me, Lautner was the first to slap him a low five on the way to the podium.
"It's great to win something outside of Twilight," R.Pattz told the audience during his acceptance speech.
Even though it looks as if it was all about Team Jacob last night, Rob and Kristen got theirs too.
They won for Choice Movie Chemistry and Choice Movie Liplock. Stewart also won for Choice Movie Actress Fantasy. Had K.Stew been there a source that worked on the awards show told us it would have "completely changed" which awards they decided to air on TV.
Bummer Kristen had to work. Plus, we have a feeling Rob wouldn't have looked so bored during the 2 1/2 hour taping!
"[Rob] was seated next to Taylor and Ashley, but since they won awards early on, they were running all over the Gibson Amphitheater," a source seated next to them tells us. "When they weren't there Rob was basically sitting alone. Taking pictures with fans was the most interaction he had with anyone else. He just sprawled out on the couch with his legs up during the show and kept to himself."
Oh, and if you're wondering why all the inside goss is strictly Twilight, it's because these were the only celebs in there until the end!
After Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, the Kardashians, Vampire Diaries cast and any other winners and presenters were finished in their category they all jetted off into their awaiting cars as soon as they were done. The New Moon cast had to stay to accept the last award of the night.

Thanks for this update..it makes a lot of sense especially the part about Kristen. Yes..if she had been there the dynamics would have been totally different. She would have been the "must see" TV along with Rob. Are we to assume that Kristen chose NOT to link up via satellite the way T. Swift did to accept her awards?? Even that dynamic would have been exciting.
Rob has been waiting for Tay to take some of the pressure off him. He knows his fans are loyal and maybe, just maybe, he and Kristen can breath a little and live outside the flash bulbs of the papz for just a bit. Wonder where he's headed today... someplace that requires a passport north of the border I hope.

I'm proud of Taylor too.. I voted for him to win choice smile so i'm glad he got it he has a gorgeous smile.
Judging from all of the reviews and now that I know who won what I dont really see the point in watching the show.. i'd rather just wait for someone to post the clips from when Rob won and watch it then. It seemed boring from the tweets and other reviews so ..i think i'll pass.

and if the twilight cast had 2 wait 2 the bitter end of the show, i bet it was designed so by the organizers. i believe some1 mentioned milking the cow for publicity. true that...
in the end, this is also good 2 c. now we know how rob behaves w/o kristen, and we werent just imagining the bubble ;)

to anon @ 6:45, yeah you're right, i see that too, she seem too touchy to me and look at the picture she is leaning more to rob...just my opinion...i used to like her before her nude pics came out...she's pretty but she's not kristen. I love kris and she's the most beautiful girl in the cast to me and rob is a lucky guy to have her, i hope he will never let her go!!! robsten 4 ever!!!!

i used to like ashley but now i don't like her so much anymore. whenever i see her out i seem to think she wants attention! also its weird how she's dating a different guy every week. i just think she wants attention and she's not that talented so far i only seen her in twilight and i don't think she showed her acting talents yet if she even has one that is. but yes she is pretty but that's all i see. with kristen it's different yes she's shy but who cares atleast she's not fake. she's so down to earth and really beautiful inside and out. i just finished watching the show its so funny how ashley keeps trying to talk to rob and touch him but his like SO not intersted. also idk why but why did he look so tired/bored/sad at the awards?? if kristen was there im pretty sure he wouldn't look like that. it sucks he didn't win hottie of the year but oh well he won for something that's not Twilight related and that's awesome! its sad that they didn't present any awards to kristen even tho she won like 4 wtf it was the most lamest award i have ever seen they had too many performances and it was super boring most of the time. they kept bring up presenters and saying how they won an award than the presenters would present to other ppl it was all confusing and really pathetic. im for sure that these awards are fake now because in mtv awards kristen won over sandra. but in these awards she didn't and these awards are basically the same because it's mostly voted by teens i find that weird...i was so disappointed i can't belive i wasted my time watching it. the only good thing was glee winning, twilight, robert winning something outside of twilight,and leighton & chace. katy perry is pretty but she's an awful host to be honest. hopefully next years awards aren't like this one it was the worst! they kept presenting awards to taylor im like wtf they can present to him 3 times but kristen not even once??
@Anon 10:25 Kristen's wins werent given attention because she wasnt there and she didnt also have a clip like Bieber and Swiftie's. TCA just didnt give airtime to absentee winners.
And, I still think Ashley is a sweet girl.

calm down guys I know we are all protective over our precious RobSten but I dont think she is trying to make a move on the guy lol. We all wish Kristen would have been there but she wasn't..and I think some of you are taking your frustrations out on Ashley because she was there sitting/laughing/talking and touching Rob and we wanted it to be Kristen but it wasn't so just chill..it's not that serious..be happy
