As much as I think it would be cool to run into Rob somewhere (cuz I luv him)...I dont think I would bother him for a pic. I only say this because in that pic he isn't smiling and he looks like he didn't really want to take the pic. (although I know some people say he's drunk)
As cool as it would be to say that I got a pic with Rob, I wouldn't want one if he's not into it and not smiling. Cuz in the end, it just looks like you held a gun to his head or something to get him to take the pic. I've met/seen a couple of celebrities over the years, and I've always just kept my distance. One, because I don't know anything original to say that they would actually care about (and have not heard a hundred times before), and Two, I wouldn't want a pic like that where they seem to not really want to take the pic and would just be obliging me cuz they don't want to upset a fan. I mean, I think it's cool that she got to meet him, but I'm sorry that he looks miserable in the pic. And Tom doesn't really seem to want to be bothered either. Cheers!

@anon2:52 I agree, I´d love to meet him but I think I would feel weird asking for a pic or an autograph,(firstly because I would feel really bad if I went all fan-girl on him, I´d try my best to be calm, but hey it´s Rob, I´d be luck enough it I didn´t drool or something) and second because I would fell bad if I interrupted his time, I bet he´d be nice about it, but I´d just fell weird.

I´ve also meet several celebs since I live on one of the most frequented cities by young celebs, and I´ve only asked one for a pic and an autograph and funny enough he was nice and it wasn´t for me, I wasn´t a fan at the time.

I've noticed that alot of celebs don't smile much when taking pics with fans. Which is kinda disappointing, but also totally understandable. I mean, imagine if you got asked everyday, all day long for pictures from random people you meet going about your daily business. Like, if your trying to go grocery shopping or to the bank or something and people stopped you every few feet and asked for a pic. I think after awhile it would get tiresome.
I think that's the main reason I wouldn't chase after pics, I sorta feel bad for them. I would be happy to just say that I viewed them from afar. I mean, if you think about it, we almost treat celebs like zoo animals.
But with that being said, I'm happy for this girl that she got to have her experience.

And if I ever run into Robsten(a girl can dream), I wouldn't ask for a pic either, or I wouldn't find a voice to say something. And agree with Lala, I wouldn't tweet anything(I don't even have a twitter either), but after being in shock for a few days I would tell you guys lol :)

And why are people everywhere (on twitter and all around the net) trying to make it sound like a really bad thing that he might be a bit drunk in the picture?! I totally agree with you Shaui, why would that be a bad thing?! He has time off, he's allowed to go out with friends and enjoy himself. I love to go out with friends and have drinks and get tipsy and dance all night long! And let me tell you, pics of me from those nights...I look 100x more drunk than Rob does in this picture, haha! So people should stop trying to make it sound like a horrible thing. Who doesn't go out on a Saturday night and have drinks?!

To be honest I have to agree with some people here. I do think it wasn't nice the way the girl who took the pic hunted Rob down to his restaurant but I understand that many would have done the same. But what really annoys me is that after Rob was kind enough to give her an autograph and a pic and even answered her questions about Kristen she announced on twitter that he was wasted. It was just the way she did it. And then because another girl came out saying she met Rob and that he wasn't wasted she changed what she said. That makes me so annoyed. Why would she say Rob was wasted when he wasn't wasted? Poor Rob. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I agree with the above, don't want her to meet Kristen. I'd rather like to imagine Rob and Kristen being happy than an encounter like that to happen again.

If the restaurant manager was trying to discourage more photos of Rob and Tom (and others), he/she sounds very professional. I wonder if the manager had a professional "chat" with the cousin who tipped the fan off. I know people want to meet Rob and Kristen and Tom, and if my cousin were working there she'd better tell me ASAP, but I WOULD NOT bother any of them for a photo or autograph. I'd smile like an idiot and watch from the corner of my eye.
Agree with everyone's comments - as much as I love these two if I ever had the pleasure to meet them I wouldn't approach them either. It's a fine line - being a fan but letting them be and have some privacy. At a fan event, it'd be different, but if I see them around I'd just leave them be. They are entitled to be left alone. I've seen some celebs around and always feel for them when they have to stop doing what they are doing (eating, being with friends & family etc) and stop and take gazillion of pics which I know they appreciate the fans and don't mind, but I don't know I never felt comfortable. I wouldn't know what to say anyways. :) Like jlsentangledweb, I'd grin from a corner like an idiot! LOL That's what I did when I saw Bruce Willis with Mick Jagger once having dinner at the same restaurant as I did! I just couldn't believe the pairing! LOL :)
Anyways, Rob & Kristen are always very sweet to their fans. :)
2 conclude, fans should give them a breather. celebs r not perfect, nor should they b. especially when they even dont want 2 b in the public eye.
who cares if rob's wasted or not. if he werent, on a saturday night, while on a break, after having met all his business obligations, at 24, w/ his best mate, he d b crazy 2 never imbibe.
