Rob's translated interview now in full. Looks like it's from the same roundtable interview as other international magazines, such as Sonntagszeitung, but there are a few new quotes. Rob talks about Twilight, Cosmopolis, Cannes and Kristen.

He could have a huge ego.  British actor Robert Pattnson is one of the  highest paid in Hollywood - just in the last year, he earned $26,5M  according to Forbes. The blue eyed guy has a legion of  rabid fans, that follow him everywhere, and to add to that, he has been  getting offers from acclaimed filmmakers. An example is the Canadian  David Cronenberg, that directed him in Cosmopolis - the movie was  in competition for the Palm D'Or in Cannes and will be released in  Brazil in August. In person, however, Pattinson surprises for his  humility and sense of humor. "All of a sudden, I left a ridiculous  £500 paycheck and became a Hollywood star. And all of that happened  without me proving anything." jokes the actor, that became famous all over the world with the Twilight saga, which started in 2008 and has made since then $2.5 billion.

Even  after beating more that 3000 candidates for the part of the vampire  Edward Cullen, Pattinson is the first to admit that the character never "demanded much effort". "The screenwriters did the best they could, but there isn't a lot to do when the guy never changes" says the actor, a lot more excited about what the movies brought to his life than making them. "I know that I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Twilight. But from now on I want to overcome my insecurities as an actor, even if it means to take risks and make mistakes."

The first part from this new phase is Eric Packer, the finance genius that he plays in Cosmopolis.  Adaptated from Don DeLillo book, the futuristic drama follows the day  of the ruthless billionaire that faces an existential crisis by putting  his fortune in danger. With all the classic weirdness of a Cronenberg  movie, most of the scenes are set inside a limousine, in which  Pattinson's character gets many visits - including prostitutes, doctors  and financial analysts. "I confess that, when I read the script, I  thought about saying no to the offer. I didn't want to look like a  coward, but I couldn't understand anything. I felt an enormous potential  for failure, especially because my character talks nonstop", he  says laughing. Fortunately, Cronenberg didn't care about the fact that  the finance world didn't mean anything to Pattinson. The way that he  felt alienated would work on his side - since his character isolates  himself. "Only after, during filming, is when I understood that the  script is about an absurd contention in the struggle for power. It's an  apocalyptic story about capitalism."

During the movie, the protagonist reveals that deep down he's just trying to escape from himself - something that Pattinson can relate to. Since he became famous, the actor is chased by the media and fans. "I try not to think a lot about that and just do my job. My life is really weird. It's not as strange as my character's in Cosmopolis, but I feel just as claustrophobic as him sometimes.". Eric Packer even goes through a prostate exam in the limo. But the actor doesn't complain. At least Packer and his next roles go beyond the "good guy" of the story. "It's not easy to get around as the heartthrob for a long time. You need to be extremely self-confident, that's not my case. I don't think I'm attractive. I'm weird.", says Pattinson, that started acting when he was 15 at the Barnes Theatre Company to "meet girls".

In his current phase of acting in more cult projects, the actor plays in Bel Ami, based on the book by Guy de Maupassant, that will be released in Brazil in August, in the role of a seductive man with an obscure soul, that sleeps with women like Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas for money and power. In Mission: Blacklist, currently in pre-production, he's going to play Eric Maddox, who spearheaded the capture of Saddam Hussein. And in The Rover, also in pre-production, his character will be a mentally disturbed guy, that helps his brother in getting back a stolen car. "They are interesting parts for an actor like me, that still has a lot to learn."

Pattinson is also writing a script with his girlfriend, the actress Kristen Stewart, that he met during Twilight. "It's not for now. We're not going to hurry to work together again. We know it has to be a really great movie to explain a new partnership on screen.  If not, they're going to crush us", he explains. He says he couldn’t have found a “more perfect” girl than Kristen. "She understands exactly how I feel. She is an ambitious woman who wants to grow as an actress. She has an excellent radar for what is good and challenges me constantly."

Named Robsten by the media – like Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) – , the couple went through the emotion and the craziness of having a movie competing for the Palm D'Or at the latest Cannes Festival. He was competing with Cosmopolis, and she with Walter Salles’ On The Road. "Someone made a joke about us being adversaries, which would be insane.” Pattinson admits that he got "a little jealous" when Kristen told him about being at the French event – Cosmopolis' selection wasn't confirmed yet. "In the end, it was amazing to have each other’s support. Her presence at the gala screening of the movie made me really nervous. She was sitting in front of me. I kept looking at the back of her neck, trying to find out if she was liking the movie or not (laughs). I only relaxed when, at the end, Kristen told me she loved it

Walter Salles and Alice Braga talk about Kristen

Walter Salles and Alice Braga talk about Kristen at the OTR PressCon in Brazil

iG Walter Salles praises again Kristen Stewart - "The director praised the "loyalty" of Stewart with the project even after the "boom" of "Twilight" and its guarantees of a fortune (which was not the case with "The Road"), and already gave a hint of her future works. "She told me what she wants to do and are upstream movies (against the grain; counterculture). Box Office success is not a concern for her."by Marco Tomazzoni

UOL Alice Braga on Kristen Stewart "Alice confirmed that Walter "discovered" Kristen Stewart before "Twilight" and hoped that people no longer associate her to the teen universe. "She's an complete actress since childhood and shows beyond the Girl from 'Twilight.'. I hope people stop to associate her to this teen idol and start to see her as a great actress of her generation." by Estefani Medeiros

Terra Alice Braga praises Kristen Stewart again - "The actress also praised the work of Kristen Stewart, who plays the young Marylou in the film and is considered a somewhat controversial choice of Walter, due to be better known since the Twilight movies. "Kristen is a great actress of this generation, goes far beyond Twilight. The lack of shame to make her sex scenes are brilliant," she said"

Rob's Interview with Capricho - Brazil

Robert Pattinson arrived at the luxurious Four Seasons hotel, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, very much like himself. Beard, jeans, white shirt and hat turned to the back. Before we started the interview, he passed by me carrying a dog bed and left it in a room, at the end of the hall, where Bear was. Yes, Rob’s dog always joins him in his business commitments, ever since his owner adopted him, during Breaking Dawn filming.

The English actor came back laughing and not even caring that I was there seeing everything. Rob is exactly like that: a simple guy that makes sure to always be himself. In 4 years of the Twilight saga, the most famous actor in Hollywood, never let success go up to his head. He was never involved in scandals and doesn't like talking about his personal life - even his relationship with Kristen almost goes unnoticed. Rob's secret? To have his family and his "few true friends" always around him. In this exclusive interview to CAPRICHO, Robert Pattinson also talked about what he felt while shooting 'Breaking Dawn': he said he only got scared during the wedding scene when saw Kristen walking dawn the aisle towards him, and that he was terrified to hold a real baby. Ah! Notice the loving way he talks about his girlfriend.

It was so cool to see you talking Portuguese...
I wonder what the fans thought of me. They think I did it all wrong.. Honestly, I was just repeating the words people were saying to me. (laughs)

What did you feel when you saw Kristen wearing the wedding dress?
She looked amazing. To me, it was a very easy scene. I didn't have to hide, like Kristen, because of the dress. She was so stressed, sitting inside the house, waiting for the paparazzi helicopters to leave. I was great, until I saw her walking in my direction. When I saw her terrified look, I realized that it was my scene too, that I was going to have to do something. (laughs) It was my time to freak out. But it was a beautiful scene.

Rob's Interview with Epoca Magazine - Brazil

EpocaGlobo Unlike most actors, the English Robert Pattinson, 25 years of old, thinks ex scenes are easy. There are other things that are scarier: having to appear shirtless or doing comedy, especially in TV Shows like Saturday Night Live, as he told Epoca in two interviews: one as a roundtable and another exclusive one:

EPOCA - All actors say that sex scenes are very awkward to do, you always have a lot of people around. As you and Kristen know each other so well, was it easier?
Pattinson - Actually I don’t think doing sex scenes is weird. You know that nobody will say anything, the directors don’t want to embarrass themselves, they won't tell you how to do it. But it's fun to do them with Kristen, it seems kind of silly. In fact, it becomes more difficult. When you don’t know the other person you won’t say she's doing something silly, or joke all the time. If you know the person, it's more risky (laughs).

EPOCA - Kristen Stewart said the wedding scene was as if she were living it. How was it for you?
Pattinson - Kind of easy. Especially in the beginning. There was so much expectation because of the dress, paparazzi everywhere that Kristen was very stressed. As she was walking to the altar, and the camera approaching me, I started to get nervous because I saw how shocked she was. So I had to think that I needed to support her and act as if I knew what I was doing (laughs).

EPOCA - With the end approaching, are you thinking “thank God”?
Pattinson - I don’t know yet. I'm working non-stop since I finished. I had a month and a half off after four years. I imagine that when the next is released, it will be different. The series left me stuck to the same person I was when I was 21 years old. And when it finishes, I will be 27, will be a very different situation.

EPOCA - Are you planning a vacation?
Pattinson - Not really (laughs). I'm not very good with vacations. I had two months off and I read a million scripts. I didn’t find anything, if I had, I would have shortened my vacation (laughs). I like being on set. I'm more relaxed when I'm working.

EPOCA - You have played the same character in five films. Does it happen a lot that you get roles offered to you like Edward? Are you not afraid to be this way forever?
Pattinson - Now, not so much. I think my agent doesn’t send me that type of thing, because she knows that I will read one page of something that looks like Twilight and I won’t finish it. So she just sends me things that are different. But I was afraid, yes. Almost immediately after finishing Breaking Dawn, I did Cosmopolis, exactly the kind of movie that I was scared of not being able to get it. And it kind of answered my question (laughs). It definitely gave me great confidence to think that there will always be different things, you just need to work for them.

EPOCA - You think that's the direction you want to go? Or would you like to do an action film, for example?
Pattinson - If it's something nice. I feel that I haven’t done the movie I really want to do. I do not know what it is, of what type. But I know it exists. I hope to find it soon (laughs).

EPOCA - Do you think that in any future work you will avoid roles that you have to be shirtless?
Pattinson - I have to change my lifestyle if you want to work shirtless. But it seems that every actor in the world is doing a scene like Taylor Lautner. It's crazy. In each film there is a scene where the main actor shows his abs. And I: "Really? You're a regular guy, working at an advertising agency? "(Laughs) It makes no sense, but is a prerequisite for actors now. Maybe I should stay fat...

EPOCA - You Could be more careless with your appearance if you did comedy. Do you want to do comedy?
Pattinson - Even comedians have abs! (laughs) And it is impossible to do comedy. People ask me to do Saturday Night Live as part of the promotion of the films and I say, "No chance! Not in a million years. "It is very frightening.

EPOCA - But you were funny at the MTV Awards.
Pattinson - Oh, my God. I didn't even say half of the joke, it was awful. It was funny when I planned. So I don't want to do Saturday Night Live. I wrote down everything and forgot about the first page, I ruined it.

EPOCA - Do you know what you’re going to film next?
Pattinson - I'm deciding what to do in January. But first I will get a six pack (laughs).

Rob's Interview with Criativa Mag- Brazil

CreativeMag-Revistacreativa.Globo via Google translate

Robert is no fool. Wherever you are, the English actor for 24 years invested in the role of romantic hero. It happens with Jacob Jankowski, the protagonist of the film by Francis Lawrence, based on the book by the Canadian Sara Gruen. In this drama, which takes place at a circus in the times of the Great Depression (1929-1939), Robert opposite two actors Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon (as an actor, Johnny & June) and Christoph Waltz (as supporting actor for Bastards Basterds). In this interview, the actor talks about his first love, the hatred that has for photographs and a certain discomfort caused by the hysteria of fans.

How was working with so many wild animals? His conception of the circus moved to Water for Elephants, with regard to the way animals are treated?
I know many circuses have a bad reputation because of this, but none of the animals we work with was the circus animals were all cinema. I know you must be very difficult because of the amount of injuries that the animals suffer. To teach horses tricks that they needed to know, it took months and months. If one got hurt, there was no substitute. Manage a circus is a precarious thing.

Was there a moment when you were scared of animals?
Once, with the zebras. They are impossible to tame. If they are tied, simply pull the rope to drop and if they can not drop, they are kicking. One could come loose and ran toward me. It was part of a scene, and I went out the front. Then everyone thought I was a pussy for leaving the front.
