Britpack Happy News: TomStu and Sienna Expecting First Baby
New Tom Sturridge Interview. Explains Why He Won't Discuss Rob
Times Magazine. He refuses, point blank, to talk about his relationship with his girlfriend Sienna Miller, or Robert Pattinson, his childhood friend.
"When you agree to be interviewed, its an opportunity to reveal your own moronic-ness", he says. "It's OK if I come across as a complete idiot, but its not fair for me to describe or refer to anyone else. Anyone can be tainted by my mention of them."

Natalia Tena talks about Rob, TomStu, and Bel Ami
HeraldScotland But before that we’ll see her in Bel Ami, a big screen adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s amoral 1885 novel due out next month. She plays a prostitute in a starry cast which includes Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott-Thomas and an old friend – Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson.
They met in their late teens on a photoshoot for up-and-coming British actors. Afterwards they went to the pub and got drunk. Tena was holding down two bar jobs at the time, so actor Tom Sturridge also on the shoot, rang her boss and said she’d had an accident and wasn’t coming in. “Needless to say I got fired,” she says. They then decided to go to Berlin, but only got as far as Tena’s flat. She couldn’t find her passport.
“We had this summer of being really close,” she says. “Then I remember Robert taking me out a few months later. He was like remember Robert taking me out a few months later. He was like‘I’m just saying goodbye because I’m going to America for a few months to do some vampire thing.’ I said ‘Cool, I’ll see you when you get back.’” And she explodes into laughter. “Now he’s massive. Literally massive. He used to be like a labrador puppy, but he’s much more mature and serious now.”
So no problem with the sex scene in Bel Ami, then? “Because we know each other, it was cool,” she says. “We just took the piss. I said ‘You just bang me. Can we make it like anal sex, because it looks worse?’”
Like everything else about Natalia Tena, her answer is direct, honest and raucous. She is, in that sense, a rock chick to her bones.

nextmovie Exclusive Q and A: Tom Sturridge ‘Forever’ After
Speaking of your gorgeous co-stars, how has working with Kristen Stewart on the set of “On the Road” been?
Tom: It was so terrifying entering into that world and what was great was just having someone that I knew and actually working with her. She’s just a f**king extraordinary actress, just really, really extraordinary and it’s astonishing just to see her do her job.
And how was shooting otherwise?
Tom: It was genuinely, one of the deepest working experiences I’ve ever had. It was extraordinary.
What was so extraordinary about it?
Tom: Well, firstly to be a part of that group to take on the filming of that novel – just to be a part of it is pretty f**king incredible in itself. And working with Walter Salles, who I think is one of the greatest directors alive, and then working with these actors who, to me, are the best actors working today and together trying to do justice to what is such a phenomenal novel. It was kind of amazing, and we were shooting for six months, we rehearsed for a month. It was such a massive part of my life.

Tom Sturridge Talks More About Kristen. "She's astonishing...just brilliant."
E!OnLine- Marc Malkin It's not easy being Kristen Stewart.
Though she looks plenty pleased sitting with costar Garrett Hedlund in this just-released still from On the Road, her pal and fellow Road costar Tom Sturridge says he's seen firsthand how aggressive the paparazzi can be with K.Stew.
"I think, you know, with her and with everybody, it's just not fair, especially with like young girls," Sturridge told me the other day while promoting his new flick Waiting For Forever (out tomorrow, February 4) at West Hollywood's Standard Hotel. "It's outrageous. Men chasing young girls? It's terrible."
Working with Stewart on On The Road was anything but terrible. "She's astonishing," Sturridge said. "I think she's genuinely an extraordinary actress, and she does things in the film that I've never seen her do. But also kind of never seen anyone do. Yeah, she was just brilliant." (FYI: He doesn't lock lips with her, but costar Garrett Hedlund does.)
On the Road, an adaptation of Jack Kerouac classic beat novel of the same name, also costars Sam Riley. "It was so weird," Sturridge said. "I remember the beginning when all of us were sitting at rehearsals looking at each other being like, 'How is this responsibility of this film sitting on our shoulders?'"
Sturridge also revealed that he hasn't seen Hedlund's most recent flick, Country Strong. But he doesn't really have to. "Garrett has sung me all the Country Strong songs and acted out whole scenes for me so I feel like I've seen it," he said, laughing.
In Waiting For Forever, Sturridge plays a professional juggler who has a lifelong obsession with a childhood friend, played by Rachel Bilson. "I've definitely been obsessed with a couple of girls," said with a smile. "They didn't work out."

ReelMovieNews More of Tom talking about 'On The Road'
Talk about filming On the Road. [Alongside Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, and Garrett Hedlund]
We filmed in Montreal, New Orleans, San Francisco, New Mexico, Argentina. It was six month, and it was incredible. It was the most extraordinary working experience I’ve ever had. The combination of being a part of the people that get to bring that book to life and working with Walter Salles, who I think is one of the greatest directors living today, and working with the best group of young actors around at the moment. It was such an astonishing experience.
How did you feel when you were cast?
It was incredible, I felt incredible. It was the best feeling. It was the perfect casting moment. All of us auditioned for it almost 3 years ago, and about 4 months before we started filming, Walter summoned me to New York to have lunch with him and we had this long, incredible lunch over hours talking about the book and thoughts and ideas. At the end of the lunch he told me ‘I want you to come on this journey with me’.
Fans want to know: what is the story behind the duck sweater?
I like it. I found it somewhere. It’s a bit cold so I wear a sweater sometimes.

Err Tom your sweater looks very familiar. Sure looks like Rob's old sweater. Or maybe not. lol
OTR Update: Bonding Time With The Boys of 'On The Road' - Kristen's 'Bodyguards'
Jerry Cimino, the Beat Museum curator and a Beat Angel relates "I mentioned to Sam and Garrett how I'd seen the video clip on YouTube of Kristen Stewart flying into Argentina and how the mob at the airport just exploded with excitement. So much so that the video was very frightening. Sam laughed. "Yeah, we were on either side of her for that. We were her bodyguards, nobody even knew who we were."

John Allen Cassady talks about meeting Kristen and the OTR Cast + New Pics
John Allen Cassady was in England visiting his mother, Carolyn Cassady, when he got the call from Walter Salles, Director of "On The Road". Walter wanted to know if John would be willing to interrupt his visit with Carolyn so he could meet and give a talk to the cast and crew of the movie while they were filming in Montreal. Walter promised a round trip flight from London to Montreal and that John would be back at his mum's place in a few days. John only wanted to know one thing: "Will I get to meet Kristen Stewart?" He was assured he'd meet everyone so John boarded that silver bird.
They picked John up in a limo and delivered him to a five star hotel in Montreal. To his chagrin, Kristen wasn't waiting there for him. They brought him to a party where he met everyone. He spoke to people he recognized and people he didn't. John took photos with disposable cameras because he'd left his digital back in London. He took pictures of everyone and everything. The next day he's having lunch with the producers and asks, "So when do I get to meet Kristen Stewart?" "John," they said, "You met her last night. You flirted shamelessly for hours. You got photos of the two of you together." John didn't know what she looked like! "And I wasn't even drinking," he said.
Back in London John got all his pictures developed. One of them was lost by the photo company. It was the one with all the photos of John and Kristen Stewart. "Story of my life," John said.
Kristen Stewart dishes lunch on the set of On The Road with her co-stars (Garrett Hedlund, Tom Sturridge and Sam Riley) out of the frame. (photo by John Allen Cassady who thought he was taking a picture of the lunch spread). John's only comment was "What a dish! (And the food wasn't bad, either!) Har har..."

FYI. John Allen Cassady is the son of Neal (played by Garrett Hedlund) Cassady. He was named after his father's 'On the Road' pals, Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, portrayed by Sam Riley and Tom Sturridge, respectively.
