Kelly said...: I have to agree with jbells97, I don't think Jacob has any business being in any of the BD1 movie posters, any calendar covers or magazine covers, etc. I think his time should be in BD2. After all, even though Jake has an obvious role in BD, especially after Reneesme is born, the first part of the story especially is ALL about Edward and Bella, IMO. I'm sorry but I'm just a bit too biased because I think Jacob has been shoved down our throats way too much, again JMO. The whole Twilight Saga is about the love story of Edward and Bella. Yes, there are other integral characters in the story, but overall it's the love story of Edward and Bella that is the heart and soul of everything. Sorry, I am now stepping off my soap box, I tend to get carried away. Unfortunately we the fans have no say in any thing promo related anyway, so I guess it's a mute point. We can all just commiserate together. The most important thing is to look forward to the first movie and all the great promo goodies we'll get, that means lots of Rob and Kristen! :); June 21, 2011 8:29 PM

Despite the fact that Edward and Bella get married in BD and the love triangle is technically over, Jacob's character is still pivotal to the story. Hell, a good portion of BD is told through his eyes. Besides, I've grown accustom to his face! LOL!

I'm Team Edward for sure, but Jacob is an integral part of the story, even in BD Part 1, he is pulled towards Bella because of her pregnancy with Renesmee....people get so jumpy everytime there's a picture with all three of them together, like Bella's going to change her mind or something. I enjoy the story with all three of them in it, especially knowing that she chooses Edward in the end, but I like what Jacob brings to the big picture of the story. Give the poor wolf a break, LOL.

I've grown weary of all the Jacob's shoved down our throats stuff and lately find myself skipping the comments section sometimes. Yes, Twilight promo was all about R/K but that's because the story was all about E/B falling in love. The storyline evolved and so should we. I know a lot of people's feelings are specifically in regards to the character of Jacob, but sometimes it spills over to hateful things about Taylor. Which frustrates me because he is R/K's friend and I know they would not appreciate some of the stuff that is said about Tay, the same way I'm sure Rob doesn't appreciate some of his so called "fans" hating on Kristen. Anyway, I digress from the point. I respectfully disagree with the whole Jacob doesn't belong stuff and encourage everyone to just enjoy the man candy already!; June 21, 2011 11:41 PM

ITA that Edward looks great AND now that you mention it, Bellas boobs do look bigger.
I was not a fan of the make-up they used on Rob in the other movies. I loved the stills Summit released, so I am sure that the rest of the cast will look good in the film. Bellas hair looked natural in what we have seen so far (this being the only exception) and I loved that they finally gave Alice a pixie cut.
And I think I remember Rob saying that he requested the make-up artist from WFE came with him for BD. Maybe they finally airbrushed him instead of all that cakey stuff they always put on all the vamps. It makes their skin look weird.; June 22, 2011 9:28 AM

I love Edward/Bella more than Jacob and I'm more interested in seeing the honeymoon scenes more than anything in the movie. But I think people need to remember that one third of Breaking Dawn is devoted to Jacob. He gets his own POV. So like it or not, unfortunately he probably be a big part of the movie. I half think Bella's final speech in Eclipse was created so young girls do things for themselves and not for the men in their lives(great thought but unfortunately I hated the speech because it was not what Bella the character said in the book).I guess I'm older and wiser and I like that she became a vampire for him and then the rest of her happiness kind of fell into place...it's a romantic notion more heart less mind...Anyway expected cheese from the poster...this is a mass marketing thing, right?
