Rob's Interview with BBC. Talks about 'Breaking Dawn', Says Kristen loved the 'very girly' Wedding Scene

BBC Speaking ahead of the release of his new movie Water For Elephants, the British actor told Newsbeat that he'd much rather do romcoms.

"If you want to do big movies you have to do either big action explosion movies or you do romances because they're the only things that get made," he said. "I think romances allow you to develop a character more. I hate working with computerised stuff. It's incredibly boring."

Pattinson, who rose to fame after playing the role of vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, also had a dig at action films saying although he likes watching them, they're boring to make.

He said: "If they're just well written [I'd consider an action movie] but it's not good writing most of the time. I enjoy watching them but it would be boring to do. You've basically got to do it if you want to be famous."

In Water For Elephants, the 24-year-old British actor plays a vet who runs away with a circus and falls in love with one of the performers, played by Reese Witherspoon.

He admitted that he decided to do the film after meeting the elephant used in the production. "I met the elephant before I accepted the movie and before I'd read the script," he said "It really was [the deal breaker].

"I remember going home in the car waiting to read the script and I was like, 'Please, please be good.' "I'd basically already decided to do the movie not knowing anything about it just because I got on really well with the elephant and thought it was really fun."

'Breaking Dawn'
The actor also revealed that filming for the final Twilight films, Breaking Dawn parts one and two, has now finished. "I'm sure we will have to do something," he said. "We finished a week and a half ago. All done. Yeah, she (Kristen Stewart) loved that [wedding] scene. It's a very girly scene. I do quite a few scenes with a baby and that's quite odd. It's so different in those movies because we were doing it with a real baby. But it was fun."

Aww kristen loved the wedding scenes, so sweet. She did say that in another interview as well. Kristen is more girly and more romantic at heart then she wants us to believe =),.Sometimes you think she is not so much for romantic stuff, but now we know thats not true. She is like the rest of us,LOL. I understand her, if I was marrying my boyfriend on a movie, I would love it to.

How could Kristen not love the wedding scene she was marrying him!! Starting to make sense now the most private couple ever have been PDAing all over the place and he's been answering questions about his girlfriend. Think they had a little practice run of the future and feel very happy about it!

Well, duh! What girl in their right mind wouldn't be excited for their "wedding"?! lol I never doubted for a second that Kristen had a romantic fiber in her being!^ ^ and "marrying" your BF... that's gotta be a trip!

@melly7902- ITA!I am pretty sure that Rob was just as excited, too!

Just because some of us girls are a little prone to hiding our emotions doesn't mean we can't be as giddy as next girl. I know because I am one of those girls!XD My mom was excited that I wanted to watch the royal wedding! To be honest, inside, I was super excited for that wedding. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time I was watching it! I bet I won't be able to cease from smiling when I watch the wedding in BD, either!

I really hope they did put more Edward/Renesmee time in there since they split BD into 2 parts. That will be cute!

Wish there was video of this interview. Maybe it would help me understand the BD quote "I'm sure we will have to do something". Is he talking reshoots, promotion, what? Also would love to SEE him talk about the wedding. I wonder if they found it inspiring. Kristen talked in EW about how over the years Twilight corresponded to her real life--birthdays & graduation occurring at the same time as filming. And of course she didn't say but falling in love. I wonder what kind of emotions the wedding stirred up. I can't imagine R/K are looking forward to promoting BD--gobs of personal questions are bound to be asked. Who knows maybe they are easing into it with Rob being more forthcoming on this WFE European press tour.
