Kristen Stewart is the fairest them of all.

The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongside Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universal’s take on the fairy tale.

The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.

Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Still, it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Stewart was still being courted as late as last week, and Universal finally made an offer over the weekend.


Commercial helmer Rupert Sanders is making his directorial debut on the pic, which amps up the action quotient from the fairy tale and plays up the relationship between White and the Huntsman. In the new scenario, when she is banished and on the run by the evil queen (Theron), the Huntsman (Mortensen) takes her under his wing to protect her, and she becomes his protege, learning how to fight and defend herself.

Stewart is repped by Gersh.

EmpireOnLine And now, confirming earlier chatter, Kristen Stewart has entered formal negotiations to play the heroine in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Clearly looking to snag some of that Twilight fan base, Universal has made an offer to the actress, whose management team are now negotiating. According to the Heat Vision blog, nothing is set in stone, though both sides seem to be agreed that it should happen if the right terms are found.


GossipCop- February 3, 2011 Kristen Stewart Offered 'Snow White'

On Tuesday, Gossip Cop confirmed that Kristen Stewart was on Universal’s list for the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.

At the time, Stewart was described to us as a “person of interest.” Today, it appears that status has been elevated.

Sources close to the production tell Gossip Cop the Snow White role belongs to Stewart if the two sides can come to an agreement. Again, nothing is finalized yet, but the Twilight star has been offered the role.


This needs to happen...Kristen to be working with Charlize and Viggo would be uhm-mazing!

GreatNewMovies The rumors were swirling around for years about Kristen Stewart acting in her mother’s movie ‘K-11’. But, the details always remained a myth.

The movie ‘K-11’ has been delayed since 2008 due to various factors, such as casting, funding and the schedules of Kristen Stewart and it was shelved since then. The movie is supposed to start it’s filming from June 6, which could probably come in the way of ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’, if the schedules are not adjusted.

The movie ‘K-11’ is all about one of the Music legends of Hollywood ending up in male prison of K-11 unit in Los Angeles. K-11 is a unit provided for the gay people and the transgenders who could not survive in the normal prison.

Reportedly, Kristen Stewart is playing the character of Birdy, a 19-year-old girl, with red hair just like a normal boy. She gets molested by a child molester Detroit who likes her, as she is small and young. Later in the plot, she kills him as retaliation. The complete ‘K-11’ unit works together, to throw the guard, who abuses them verbally and physically.

The complete film is violent as people fighting with each other to dominate and the rest fight for their survival. Jules Stewart, the mother of Kristen Stewart is the script writer and the director of ‘K-11’.

I have my issues about this project. lol I love MamaStew and all but ...Oh my.

Kristen Stewart has no beef with the Man of Steel. Despite reports that the actress turned down the role of Lois Lane in the 2012 Superman film, her rep tells PEOPLE there was never any discussion about her playing the part.

"There are a number of fabricated stories circulating," says the rep. "The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film."via  kstewartfans


NYDailyNews According to a source close to Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel," K.Stew recently met with the filmmaker and his wife, Deborah - who's a producer on the film with Christopher ("Inception") Nolan - to discuss her taking the role of Lane.

The meeting could not have lasted long. The source says Stewart "ultimately passed" on being cast as the intrepid Daily Planet reporter who works alongside Clark Kent and becomes Superman's love interest.

Our source, who works with Snyder, says the director did not offer Stewart the role, but had "definite" interest in her playing the quick-thinking brunette.

Stewart, however, had specific reasons for turning down the part. The source says the intense-eyed actress, whose rumored involvement with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson set the media swooning, was "caught off guard" by the success of that film franchise and wasn't ready to leap into a similar situation just yet. Instead, the source said, Stewart professed an interest in "smaller, independent films." (Stewart's spokeswoman said only that she "did not read for the part" and declined to elaborate.)

Legitimate reasons, perhaps, but our source says Snyder was left feeling "slighted" by Stewart and that the awkward beauty had "wasted his time.  Snyder, whose résumé includes "300," is also reportedly considering Jessica Biel, "Glee's" Dianna Agron, Rachel McAdams, Malin Akerman and Mila Kunis for the role of Lane. (On Sunday, Warner Bros. said that Brit Henry Cavill, best known for his role as Charles Brandon, First Duke of Suffolk, in Showtime's "The Tudors," would play Superman (and alter ego Clark Kent.)  Warner Bros. did not get back to us with a comment by deadline.

Despite her desire to do some indie films, Stewart may be willing to reach for the hair dye for one big-budget part. Another insider close to the actress says she hasn't ruled out the title role in director Rupert Sanders' "Snow White and the Huntsman," which is to begin filming this summer.

Production for "Superman" is also to begin in Vancouver this summer - which could have meant a potential conflict for Stewart, had she wanted both roles.
