It must have been the biggest set you've worked on...
Well, I can't imagine a film that's generated that sort of response. It's funny thinking that regardless of what work I do in the future, I know that I'll never be a part of something that generates that particular type of response - it was really unique. It's a credit to Stephenie Meyer, Robert [Pattinson] and Kristen [Stewart], and the rest of the cast, to capture something that is contagious and exciting and build that world in a way that's compelling. I was really happy to have been a part of it... and just held on tight.

Did you spend much time with Rob and Kristen?
Yeah, it wasn't like a closed shop. Even though that was a fear - well, not a fear, but you're kind of hesitant on any job that you'll into a situation where people have already established their dynamic and their own family. And to be an outsider walking into that - and also playing the bad guy! - you think 'How's this going to go down?' But I couldn't have been welcomed in warmer fashion. We went out to dinners and there was a really organic camaraderie that developed.

Xavier Samuel turned some Twilight heads when he stepped out with his model girlfriend on Monday in NYC. So since the Twilight star is attached, did he ever go on double dates with his co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?

So OK! caught up with the Twilight star Tuesday night the grand opening of Lavo Nightclub in NYC to see whether Xavier ever went on double dates with his Twilight co-stars.

“All the time!” he told OK!. “Whenever we can!”

Seriously?

“No, we haven’t done that yet, but it’d be fun to set that up sometime,” Xavier admitted to OK!. “I don’t know. It’s hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time.

Uh oh, Xavier Samuel who plays Riley is really channeling Robward. The hoodies, grey t-shirt, and the plaid shirts just won't do, he HAD to put on Rob's signature sexpender's pants. lol. I know lots of blogs will have a fit. Some if them positively, though. But you have got to admit, this new guy is a cutie, too. Uhmm, but still no match for our Robward.
What's next Xavier, the Nike, the DocMarten's?
Nooooo, you can't touch the Stoli. There is just no way you can pull it off...lol

Yes, we join the rest of the Twilight world in crushing on the Saga's latest cutie addition, 25-year-old, Xavier Samuel. He grew up in Adelaide, studied drama, and was a former lead singer of Hyatus, an Aussie band.

He is now busy training for the fight scenes with the rest of the gorgeous Twilight Saga cast.
