TwilightPoison I'd really like to know what you learned about acting from the other cast members that you got to work with?
Mackenzie Foy: Well, I learned the most by watching them because they would be themselves and then they would become the character that they become.

Is there one thing that you learned by watching one person in particular, that you took in and thought “I want to be able to do that”?
M: There’s some cool stunts that everyone did, there’s a couple of flips and I thought that was very cool.

Now, on the press conference you mentioned the swear jar… Who was the biggest offender?
M: Like I said, I don’t want anybody else to get in trouble! (laughs)

Is there anybody who didn’t have to put any quarters in the swear jar?
M: Um… Stephenie (Meyer), Taylor (Lautner), Noel (Fisher), Dr. Guri (Weinberg), and there were some other people like Miss Tracey (Heggins), Miss Judi (Shekoni). Most of the Cullen guys. They didn’t say any swear words. Oh! And Miss Ashley (Greene). She didn’t say any.

What was your first time meeting, Taylor, Kristen and Rob like?
M: Well I met Kristen and Rob in the hair and make up trailer, and I think the first time I met Taylor was… in the first scene actually.

Who was the biggest prankster on set? Or the biggest jokester?
M: Rob was pretty funny. He had some pretty funny jokes.

He made you laugh a lot?
M: Yes. And Mr. Guri, he was really funny too.

When you wrapped up did they show up for your last scene?
M: Yeah, it was just me and Kristen.
You were the final two?
M: Yes.

But the rest of the crew probably showed up right? “That’s a wrap on Mackenzie”!
M: The crew was there and the visual effects guy and all that stuff, because it had to do with the wolves. All the other cast, they weren’t wrapped yet, they just had the day off so it was just me and Kristen. It was nice.

"I even found myself on set with her and all of a sudden I'd be like, 'Why am I staring at Kristen right now?'"

 And K.Stew, 22, and her beau Robert Pattinson, 26, couldn't have been nicer. "They're great," said Trucks, 31. "Kristen was always lovely to me and really laid back and Rob was so joyful and cool. They're both wonderful, cool as a cucumber. I don't think anyone can really judge people too harshly when you have all eyes on you at all times."

ETA- July 15, 2012 AccessHollywood Veteran actress Jodie Foster had a new experience this week, sandwiched between throngs of screaming fans at her very first Comic-Con as she promoted “Elysium” with Matt Damon. In hindsight, Jodie says she should’ve given her former “Panic Room” co-star Kristen Stewart a ring to get some tips on how to deal with the excited crowds – especially since the “Twilight Saga” star has been to five Comic-Cons to date.
 “[Kristen] really should’ve given me some tips,” Jodie told Access Hollywood’s Scott Mantz with a laugh, at the convention in San Diego. “She’s doing great. I just saw ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ which I thought was extraordinary and I thought she was absolutely brilliant in.”

I remember she was so unknown at the time that I had to write her name on a piece of paper not to forget [laughs]. About having Kristen in the cast: “It was something great to have Kristen in the cast. Several young people who are fans of her and had no contact with Jack Kerouac’s work came to know this other side of literature. And now many of them are fans of this kind of reading.”

About Kristen and Garrett being faithful to the project: “In this movie they received the minimum wage possible, so they were shooting because they really love the book itself. They all remained faithful to the project after becoming famous. Garrett called me every time throughout the period that the filming did not materialize to know if he could accept other movies’ projects, or we were about to start filming “On The Road”, which was his priority.”

What was the casting process based on? Charlize was the first to come on board. We saw in her this very strong, formidable presence. For Snow White we were looking for someone who is decisive and modern. There is something very spirited about Kristen. She carries so much weight on her shoulders and she handles it in a very grown up manner. For just a 22 year old, it’s crazy. She’s an incredibly gifted actor, so she was the obvious choice. Chris was a very athletic, well- trained, charming actor, but he was able to open up for this performance – there is a very emotional side to him which we haven’t seen before and that was thrilling to watch.

The likeness between the two is unmistakable in Stewart's blue-eyed gaze and mannerisms (and she's hugely proud of her megastar offspring) but don't assume this project got off the ground because of nepotism.

“To have your daughter being so in the public eye and so popular, a lot of people accuse me of using her to get where I am,” Stewart openly admits. “That’s a negaive thing and not true.”

Stewart Jr. (Kristen) intended to play Butterfly, a transvestite male inmate of K-11, a real wing of the LA jail reserved for gay, transvestite and transgender inmates, where Goran Visnjuc’s heterosexual innocent man is thrown. Then Twilight happened… “She became this big movie star. She became too big for me. She stepped away to protect it.” 

After three stalled starts Stewart gained French funding and energetically cracked on, but the film remained a family affair - Kristen got a role in the end as a voice of a secretary on the phone ("a micro cameo") and her brother Cameron makes his screen debut as a mohawked-neo nazi.

HuffingtonPost James Franco  Nana is back in New Orleans after a week in London doing makeup for the Prometheus press tour. Fortunately, the other makeup artists on the film I'm shooting filled in for her so she could make sure the cast of Prometheus looked good for Access Hollywood. I'm only a little bitter, and that's only because I love having Nana around and I don't like to share her. But I understand that she is in a creative role and needs to consider her own career; I also understand that she has made sacrifices for me. Last year, she spent six months in Detroit doing my turn-of-the-century (20th century, that is) hairdo on Oz, instead of taking a job as head of the hair department on Snow White and the Huntsman. I don't want to talk about whether she made the right decision or not, but for the past year she has reminded me that she would have had a lot of fun creating all the hairstyles on Huntsman. Well, Huntsman is finally in theaters and, since we're currently shooting nights, we took the occasion of Nana's return to see a matinee showing; Iris, my Mexican producing associate, came along. There is a great theater called Canal Place on Canal and Decatur where they take your order at your seat and serve gourmet popcorn, salads, sandwiches and beer. Nana got the truffle-flavored popcorn and I got regular because the flavors usually get old after a few bites.
