Okay, its up! I have yet to see the film, so I have been delaying this for quite sometime now. But since many of you, my dear lucky readers have seen it and are requesting for it - here it is - the OTR Reaction Post.
This post will be stickied on the sidebar. Btw, reaction must be from watching the whole film not some leaked material/s, okay? But, srsly.

About the choice of Kristen for the role of Marylou: “She was one of the first people to join the project. A friend of mine had seen “Into the Wild” and told me about her. I remember she was so unknown at the time that I had to write her name on a piece of paper not to forget [laughs]. When I met her, it was a nice surprise to know that “On The Road” was her favorite book.”
About having Kristen in the cast: “It was something great to have Kristen in the cast. Several young people who are fans of her and had no contact with Jack Kerouac’s work came to know this other side of literature. And now many of them are fans of this kind of reading.”
About Kristen and Garrett being faithful to the project: “In this movie they received the minimum wage possible, so they were shooting because they really love the book itself. They all remained faithful to the project after becoming famous. Garrett called me every time throughout the period that the filming did not materialize to know if he could accept other movies’ projects, or we were about to start filming “On The Road”, which was his priority.”

In Twilight, it's only on the penultimate movie that the leading couple had a romantic sex scene. But Kristen Stewart, the performer of the delicate heroine of the vampire saga, says: "I see actresses do ridiculous fake sex scenes in movies and then declare that they felt safe on set." At 22 years old and as the highest-paid actress in Hollywood between May 2011 and 2012, earning $ 34.5 million according to Forbes magazine, Kristen says it was says with a fearless attitude to nudity that she starred On the Road, which premieres in Brazil on July 13.
In Walter Salles' movie she plays Marylou, free-spirited young woman who becomes the lover of two friends who cross roads of the United States in an existential journey. "I would have joined these two guys, for sure," says Kristen, adding that she read Jack Kerouac's book as an adolescent, and that she admires people with libertarian attitudes. Off screen, however, she has a life within the rules and maintains a secretive romance with Robert Pattinson, her partner in Twilight.
How would you describe the experience of working in On the Road?
K: It was the greatest experience I had doing movies. I wasn't part of the entire filming trip, but I went to Montreal to join the team and prepare. Then I went to New Orleans, Phoenix and San Francisco. Then I came home and made another Twilight movie. What was strange, because I wanted to go back to that experience with Walter (Salles), which was discontinued. I had no time to think about what had happened in those weeks on the road. What, in fact, closely resembles the experience of my character.
Were you afraid of doing the sex scenes?
K: On the contrary, I wanted to do the sex scenes. I like movies that test my limits. It's a way to challenge myself, to leave the comfort zone. I confess that I lived more interesting experiences during those four weeks of filming on the road than in my normal life. The sequences of nudity among the characters are discreet and did not show genitals.
Did that make you more comfortable?
K: I see actresses do ridiculous fake sex scenes in movies and then declare that they felt safe on the set. In most cases, the sequences seem fake, you can see that they are using skin color strips to cover their breasts. I didn't want to feel safe. It' much more interesting to see genuine sex scenes than something we realize that it's fake. I always wanted to be as close as possible to actual experience.

'On the Road' will Screen at the Melbourne International Film Festival
The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) announced the selections for its 61st annual festival. Straight from the Cannes Festival Competition section, MIFF will screen Walter Salles’ highly-anticipated adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road, featuring Sam Riley as the infamous writer Sal Paradise, with support from Kirsten Stewart and Garett Hedlund.
The festival runs from August 2 through August 19th. Schedule and ticket information to follow on theMIFF Website

unusual freedom of speech. The young woman shows she can have a critical eye
about Hollywood. Her next movie, Cali, will set on the X environment… far from Snow
White character ! This girl has not finished to surprising us.
What made you want to
play Snow White on the screen ?
At first, Snow White
is a classic. I like this heroine, because she is deeply kind, full of empathy
to the others. I wanted to compose a human character, close to us. Snow White and the Huntsman, is
especially an epic movie, with beautiful emotional moments and great action
scenes.
This valiant and
warlike Snow White is far from the heroine portrayed in the Brothers Grimm story…
I love the dark side of the character. It’s true there are
some hard times in this movie. Personally, I’m attracted by the dark univers. I
took my character up to this dark side. In this movie, she is not passive : she slips on an
armor, takes the lead of the rebellion against the bad queen (Charlize Theron on the screen).
Do you find something
about yourself in this character ?
Yes, but I think I’m a little more crazy than Snow
White ! (laugh)
OTR US Release Update

'End of the year' is definitely better than no info at all. I know a number of folks are waiting for an update...Chris and a few anons. I'm sure the producers are working on the details, I'll just keep you guys posted.
