Notice how they covered up all the grass with sand to make it more tropical. Landscapers coming once a week to cut the grass on a remote, secluded island isn't very Breaking Dawn. I am glad they are working hard!
ssl_riofilme "The island, the beach and the house will be beautiful in Breaking Dawn. And don't worry about the absence of the bracelet ... All according to plan."
I hope he meant Edward's Cullen cuff.

Waterfall Scene Breakdown: (SPOILER!!!)
Everyone is asking why the Robsten doubles in Paraty? So here's the answer: The waterfall scene will be done with their doubles because it starts with the couple jumping from the top of the waterfall and falling into the pool of water underneath. Then they show the waterfall and its surroundings. This scene will be done with helicopter aerial shot. Following this scene, they will show the two underwater and then they swim a little, get close to each other and begin to kiss. The kiss will be shown up close, so Robsten will go to the waterfall, I do not know when, but they will shoot there, at least for the kissing part.

The couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, stars of "Twilight", arrived at about 5:30pm to the city of Paraty, in the southern state of Rio de Janeiro. The actors in a helicopter landed on a lawn in front of Church of Santa Rita and went to Pousada de Ouro in the historic city.
The actors chose to spend the night in this accomocation (Pousada de Ouro), controlled by tight security.
On Tuesday (9), the couple should run some scenes in the city before heading to the Saco de Mamangua, an environmentally protected area located in the region of Paraty-Mirim.
Pattinson and Kristen will shoot scenes from the movie "Dawn," in a mansion located in Mamangua. The house is protected by security since this Monday (8) and site access is possible only by boat.
View of the house where scenes will be filmed on Tuesday.
Those curious, however, may not be within 200 meters of the mansion. Officials of the film, on board a boat, will be preventing the approach and argue that the area is reserved to permit the Navy.

The Hollywood couple are in Rio since last Friday filming scenes from the film "Sunrise", the fourth in the Twilight series. In the story, based on the book by Edward and Bella get married and decide to spend the honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro.
On Sunday (7) to Monday (8), the actors filmed recorded scenes from the film in the Lapa district in central Rio.

Cullen Honeymoon House Confirmed
As confirmed by FoForks to TwiFans "We officially know where the "magic" for Bella and Edward is going to happen. We posted earlier a possible Isle Esme location and house and that information has now been confirmed. I don't think we will be receiving much information about the house since it's in utter seclusion and under extreme tight security. We can tell you however what has happened so far...
Reportedly, the original furniture of the house are being saved and protected and being replaced with furniture that fit the description of the book by Stephenie Meyer are being put in place. Besides furniture, there is already heavy equipment and three generators, two of them being at sea and one in the house at the Isle Esme location.
Everyone involved with the film production, foreign and Brazilian, were summoned to a meeting Saturday where they were informed that it will be forbidden to bring cameras or cell phones to the filming. If anyone brings a recording device or gives the press information they will be dismissed and the person may be prosecuted. Since yesterday a boat from the port is already located to support the security of the site.
To transport the actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson they will use a helicopter to land on the nearby mansion, the pilot of motoring Xande Negrao, which is located 5 minutes by boat as reported earlier."

Possible Isle Esme? Paraty Island, Brazil
Altfg.com In-between pro-Workers Party political chat on Twitter — general elections were held in Brazil on Sunday — RioFilme's president Sérgio Sá Leitão tweeted that there's "no news regarding Breaking Dawn," which still may or may not be partly filmed in the city of Rio de Janeiro and/or surrounding areas.
To be directed by Bill Condon, who showed up at the Rio Film Festival last week, and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, the suspense about filming (or not) Edward and Bella's honeymoon in Brazil has been going on for a number of weeks.
According to Leitão, Condon is "eager to film here." But ultimately, of course, it's all up to the powers-that-be at Summit Entertainment.
The latest location mentioned as a possibility for Isle Esme — where Bella discovers she's pregnant and a spooked-out half-Indian Amazonian comes up with tales of death and libishomem — is the small colonial town of Paraty [pronounced Pah-rah-CHEE], located 240 kilometers from Rio, along what some refer to as the Brazilian Riviera.
How exactly Paraty would fit with Stephenie Meyer's story is unclear, as Island Esme is supposed to be just that: a tiny tropical islet on which was built a good-sized home. But then again, there are tropical islets all over the Rio State coast, so that may be what's being discussed here.
As quoted on Terra.com, Leitão affirmed that "first of all, we need to know how much the production will spend in the city of Rio de Janeiro because then I'll know how much I'd bring to the city for each real [that's the Brazilian currency] we invest on the film. The ratio must be worthwhile. Second, I figure out how many jobs will be created. And third, we have to take a look at a draft of the screenplay, for we're not going to invest, for instance, on a movie such as Tourists (a 2006 production that showed Brazilians as cruel murderers of innocent Americans)."
Leitão added that "we need not only financial returns, but also promotional returns for the city," going on to explain that Rio would be like a product to be sold, as movies shot there would offer "product placements" of the city by way of "postcards shots."
Once again, how that would fit with Meyer's Breaking Dawn is unclear, unless screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg expands Edward and Bella's passage through Rio on their way to Isle Esme, which lasts all of a paragraph or two in the book.

Isle Esme to be Filmed in Brazil?
Recently, Summit announced that Breaking Dawn will be filmed in Louisiana and Vancouver, but could Isle Esme actually be filmed in Brazil? Rio Film Commission is definitely trying to make that happen
Rough translation of the article mentioning this.
"Tuesday, July 13th, the director and RioFilme's CEO, Sérgio Leão Sá posted on Twitter that parts of Breaking Dawn could be filmed in Rio de Janeiro. Robert Pattinson even commented that he'd love to come to the city."
Sérgio posted around 10AM: "RioFilme, SEC and Rio Film Commission are working on the 4th movie of the Twilight Saga to be shoot in Rio".
UPDATE: He just tweeted: Paris Filmes, Brazilian distributor of Summit's movies, is also helping us negotiating part of Breaking Dawn to be filmed in Rio"

How's that for authenticity? Uhmm...interesting.
A 'real honeymoon' waiting to happen...lol
