hmmm - I'm sure I'm not the only one who is a bit concerned with the soft core-porn slow motion and music - this is NOT Kristen's doing at all - but rather an editorial decision by GQ.
GQ probably want to sell the sexual aspect of Kristen - as that is what men primarily see in women, especially women in men's magazines. Not all men of course. But the vast majority of men sexualise women - and female actors more than most.
We all know my view of Men's magazines - and this was demonstrated today - while in the newsagent I saw a group of adolescent boys "stroking" the picture of Kristen on the GQ magazine - I'll say no more.
But in defence of GQ - they paid money for a shoot with Kristen and are using it for their audience. i.e. men that want to look at attractive sexualised women.
Kristen is a woman however, and I'm sure she is WELL AWARE that lots of men are like that, so I wouldn't worry too much about the imagery.
@Jerry Thanks so much for that perspective. Its truly appreciated... and I totally agree with you. Its the most that GQ can do to sell Kristen's classy shoot- to editorialize/inject some more sexiness directed towards its main market. I'm sure Kristen is very much aware of this when she agreed to be their covergirl. No worries. :)
@lala/c I feel you. I'm at work so I couldn't watch the video either. I clicked to watch but I had to stop it.... seemed a little inappropriate to watch in my open to everyone cubicle. What I did watch, Kristen looked absolutely gorgeous but that music has got to go!

I love to see the sexy side of Kristen. We always saw her in funcky t-shirts, skinny jeans and untied dirty sneakers. Guess they chose this music to make the images even more sensual and mesmerizing. Love it! I share the same feelings as some of you guys on men's freaking tendency to (among other things) sexually objectify women, but Kristen looks like a perfect classy pin-up here. And drop dead gorgeous. Nothing shocking, really.
Speaking of feminism, I've watched the vid while listening to "Crimson and Clover" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and that worked pretty well. Maybe you could try that. ;)
