The Spike TV 2009 Scream Awards were filmed tonight in Los Angeles, California, and though the show will not premiere on Spike TV until Tuesday, October 27th, here are some deets.

Twilight was the night’s biggest winner collecting four awards: Best fantasy film, best fantasy actors for stars Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and breakout performance for co-star Taylor Lautner. Lautner also treated fans to the world-premiere footage of the second installment New Moon. Twilight and the cast were nominated in several categories are the 2009 Scream Awards.
Twilight was also nominated for "Ultimate Scream," but the award was given to Star Trek. Additionally, Cam Gigandet was also in the running for "Best Villain," but the award went to Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood.
Finally, Michael Sheen's upcoming film Alice In Wonderland won the award for "Most Anticipated Fantasy Film," which his co-star (and, to say the least, leading male in the film) Johnny Depp accepted. Note that Alice In Wonderland beat out The Twilight Saga: New Moon for this award.
Footage from The Twilight Saga: New Moon was ushered in during the event, and, according to one source, will be furthered in the actual show's screening
Taylor's acceptance speech goes "This is my first Scream Award. I definitely got to thank all my fans who continued to vote for me. I'd like to thank Summit Entertainment and Spike TV. I'm so glad to be here!
