Catherine Hardwicke talks about The TwiAudition With Access Hollywood.

And more R/K 'chemistry' mentions from Catherine and Amanda Seyfried source

Catherine: "I tried to cast Shiloh in ‘Thirteen,’ but it didn’t work out. And then he was one of my top four candidates to play Edward in ‘Twilight.’ I thought he was pretty great, but in that case I already had Kristen Stewart as my leading lady, and we based the casting of Edward on ‘chemistry’ readings. The actors did some scenes with Kristen, and it was pretty clear that she worked best with Rob Pattinson.”

Amanda:  "When she sees two people connect, she becomes your biggest fan she wants to take that and make that into something beautiful," Seyfried says. "I think she saw that with Rob (Pattinson) and Kristen (Stewart) and she has been very vocal about that. When she first saw Shiloh (Fernandez) and me do our chemistry read, she saw something and I saw something."

TwitterTime With Chris Weitz - Part Four

It's ChrisWeitz's Twilight-Tuesday in Twatterlandia.  (NewMoon whatever!- lol)

ETA: Added a few more, after the CUT

LMCullen@chrisweitz BTW the fandom LOVES Edward's "Sex Walk" in NM, when he arrives at the beginning. Does Rob walk like that in real life? LOL
No, I had to teach him. Off camera I was saying "Yeah, work it girl, own it -- own it" and then we removed my voice

apr675@chrisweitz Favorite line from the movie?
Yeah, action, adrenaline... that's my thing" -- KS improv

THoffman06 @chrisweitz Best behind the scenes quote...GO
Your son has huge eyeballs" -- Rob of my son Sebastian

LivingWEdward@chrisweitz Did you have to treat Rob's eyebrows like they were their own character? Were they hard to work with?
The left one wants more pay than the right one.

lilopopsicle @chrisweitz is kristen nicer in person than she makes out to be?
I don't agree with the press consensus that she makes out to be mean, but she's great

micksim @chrisweitz One thing I always wondered... Why is Edward so damn emo at the beginning of NM? Before the Jasper thing??
He senses the end coming. Also, Rob's new contact lenses hurt.

@BadrieAli:your mission to make robert pattinson get a twitter account, what do you think will be your success rate out of 100%” -100

StewsOzBird @chrisweitz if you could change Alice's vision of VampBella in NM, how would it have looked? Different clothes? No slo-mo?
Shot 1: Aloce's eyes in Aro's eyes. Shot 2: Bella's (golden) eyes in Alice's eyes. back to Aro's eyes. Done.

Rumor of 'Breaking Dawn' Footage to be Shown at Comic Con 2011 is Incorrect

From PattinsonUK We had rumors that a clip from Breaking Dawn would be shown at this years Comic Con. However, on checking their website there is nothing to substantiate these claims, so we contacted the organisers of the event directly. The response we received confirms that nothing has been discussed to date:

As of today we have had no direct contact with the studio regarding any programming and certainly no footage, “clips” or things of this nature have even been broached.

I know there has been a great deal of speculation which is sometimes taken as fact, so I appreciate you contacting us to address the validity of those comments.

So there you have it! It is likely that there will be something to do with Breaking Dawn at the convention judging by their past decisions but until this is confirmed either by Summit or Comic Con please don’t make any definite plans to attend if you are only going for this reason. via

Rumor is incorrect - at least for now...

Catherine Hardwicke Talks about Working Again with R/K. And about Kristen as 'Snow White.

catherine hardwicke,robsten

E!OnLine- TedC Twilight Director Catherine Hardwicke Wants Rob and Kristen Back
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has been hard at work promoting her new flick, Red Riding Hood, with Amanda Seyfried. But that doesn't mean she's forgotten past stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

"I'd love to [work with them again], if the right project comes up at the right time, that would be awesome," Cath dished at the RRH premiere Monday. "I think they're wonderful; they're super close to my heart."

"I was exactly right there when they first met, so I saw it all from the beginning," Hardwicke told us years ago about Robsten's romance. "I saw that they both had that wonderful fascination with each other, and that's why I cast Rob."

Sorry, but I had to edit half of Ted's bit. Yep, he came up with a whole story with just one new line from Cathy. lol

At :46 Cathy talks about Kristen

E!OnLine -Marc Malkin Don't mess with Snow White. Especially if Kristen Stewart is playing her...

As you may have heard, the Twilight star is in final negotiations to take on the fairest of them all role in Snow White and the Huntsman.

"I love it," Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke told us last night at the Hollywood premiere of her new flick, Red Riding Hood. "She's going to be a bad ass, learning how to hunt. That is perfect for Kristen!  "She's an athlete," Hardwicke continued. "She's a kick-ass chick. She's going to do good in that."

Charlize Theron is also in final talks for the Rupert Sanders-directed movie to play the Evil Queen along with Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman, according to Deadline.

Catherine Hardwicke Tells Audition Tapes are 'Pretty Steamy'. Shiloh Tries to Set the Record Straight

Update! From MTV's Josh Horowitz

"Last thing I'll say before the announcement comes: while there is a Twilight connection. It's NOT a Twilight thing. Not a set visit, etc. Believe me: wish we could go on set but alas it's not up to us. That being said I'm confident you guys will love this event. All 4 now..."

Catherine Hardwicke Says Unreleased 'Twilight' Audition Tapes Are "Pretty Steamy"

And Shiloh Fernandez sets the record straight on his comments about Kristen, Rob, and  not playing Edward.MTV

Thank you CH for locking in the TwiAudition tapes (and hopefully throwing away the key). I'd like to think its our Twilight sacred secret, which will remain as such for years to come.

Max Irons talks about Rob. "He's been Gifted and Cursed."

Photobucket vanity fair

UKPress Max Irons may be being compared to Robert Pattinson but the Red Riding Hood star reckons R-Patz has been “gifted and cursed” with fame. The son of acting couple Jeremy Irons and Sinead Cusack hit the red carpet in Hollywood to premiere the new thriller in which he plays Amanda Seyfried’s love interest.

Having been cast and directed in the movie by Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke, Max confessed he takes any Pattinson comparisons as a compliment.

Well Robert’s a lovely actor, [but] this is a different beast to the film that shall not be named!” he joked, before adding: “You know, I think he’s been gifted and cursed.”

The 25-year-old explained: “All you want to be able to do as an actor is work and to be able to focus on the work. For lack of a better term, the celebrity is consequential and all you should be doing is focusing on the quality of your work and kind of, I think, ignoring the rest of it.

“If I can do that and have a long, long career and not a short, short career that’s all I want.

Robert by the way is going to have a long, long career,” Max added. “I have a feeling about that… because he’s English!”

The young actor described working under the direction of Catherine Hardwicke as “nuts”. “We had a director that encouraged us to be silly and to just have fun.”

My twattie pal and affie, RobstenLoveCom's  first choice to play Prince Charmant opposite our Baby Girl in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' is this new English hottie.  Do you guys, approve?

Happy International Women's Day to all you lovely ladies, knitters...lol

Rob Sings the Blues - New Pic from Vanity Fair Shoot

VanityFair Sing us a song, piano man—let’s start with “Happy Birthday.” New Orleans’s Preservation Hall—where Annie Leibovitz shot young Robert Pattinson, shown tickling the ol’ 88 with the world-famous Preservation Hall band—celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Situated in the French Quarter, the music venue is one of the country’s most hallowed: it was founded in 1961 for the purpose of preserving New Orleans–style jazz, and indigenous American music. On his first-ever visit to the Quarter, Pattinson jammed with the house band and thoroughly held his own—his celebrity perhaps subsumed by that of the musicians, whose legendary status awed everyone on set. “When we first started, none of us knew that Robert really does play piano,” says Ben Jaffe, the tuba player (center, above), the band’s director, and the son of the venue’s founders. “But when he got up there, he started ticking out these notes, and it was obvious he wasn’t just tinkling—he really knew how to play.” Though the musicians were expecting the actor to just pose, Pattinson gamely jammed along with their tunes. After finishing a song, he leaned over to Jaffe “and said, ‘That’s the first time I’ve played with a group of guys like that,’” Jaffe recalls. Not a shabby gig—especially with Jaffe’s homemade red beans and rice waiting as reward.

Lee Pace talks about Kristen, Rob, Bill Condon, and Breaking Dawn

Photobucket

E!OnLine-MarcMalkin It's not every day that actors like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson become as big as they have without changing at least a tiny bit. But it's true. As I've always said, these two are the same today as they were when they first signed up for Twilight.

And one of their newest Twi-costars couldn't agree more...

"Kristen hasn't lost any of that stuff that makes her special," Lee Pace, who is playing Edward's vampire BFF Garrett in the Breaking Dawn flicks, tells me. "People say it's quirky, but I think it is authentic.

"She doesn't march down these red carpets like a show monster," the former Pushing Daisies star continued. "You see these girls and they're all just like, 'I'm living the fantasy. I'm wearing $10,000 worth of clothes and jewelry.' Kristen's just not like that. Kristen is just her."

The same for Mr. Pattinson. "The thing about him that is so charming is what you see is what you get," Pace said. "He is as charming and humble and handsome as he presents himself. Totally what you see is what you get with him."

Pace also said that director Bill Condon's take on the movies is a bit more "dark" than the previous three movies. "Bill Condon is cooling up these movies," he said. "I hope that doesn't get me in trouble with anyone, but he's cool...He really is killing it with this one. He's making it cool. Bill is finding that stuff and letting it be as shocking as it can be, but stylish, too."

Pace returns to filming Breaking Dawn this week after taking a three-week vacation to India. "I wear bright red contacts," he said. "I feel so plain and boring when I take them out."

NYPost PopWrap: "The Fall" is a visual feast and most of your films have been indies, so a lot of people were surprised by you taking on a role in the upcoming "Twilight" two-part finale. What made you sign on?
Lee: Bill Condon. He's great and just killing it with this movie. It’s gonna be the cool “Twilight.” He’s adding a level of style that is just awesome. I’ll be honest, I went in to this a little like “you know what you’re getting into, just do what you can.” But it’s been awesome fun.

PW: So you like playing a vampire then?
Lee: Yea, it’s really fun. It’s easy and fun to bring that side out of you. Both parts are fascinating. After reading them, I understand the huge sensation around them. And can I tell you something, Kristen Stewart just looks like a proper movie star. Not like a teen sensation. She walks on set and its pure movie star-ness. And you don’t see that very often.
