Despite his aversion to exercise, Pattinson, 24, is dedicated and diligent when it comes to his fitness program.
“We work with him whenever he has a film to get ready for, which is quite often,” says Harley Pasternak, who also trains Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga.
'HE WORKS HARD'
“Right now for the movie he’s doing, Water For Elephants, we’re working with him on that," Pasternak told Wonderwall. "He’s a great client, works hard. He's not someone who grew up working out and going to the gym, but it’s part of his job and part of looking good and feeling good [so he does it].”
The 6'1" Robert, who reveals he eats well thanks to a food service that delivers fresh, healthy meals directly to his home, follows Pasternak's 5-Factor fitness program, where he does a circuit-training workout five days a week for a minimum of 25 minutes.

"Each workout is made up of five phases, which should be done 20 times each and repeated in a circuit of four movements," explains Pasternak. "You need to train your whole body. You can’t do the same muscles every day. You don’t want to get to the point where your legs are sore every day. You can get overuse injuries.”
Robert, who ran on the treadmill to prep for the intense fight scenes in Twilight: Eclipse, also follows a meal plan where he consumes five small meals a day consisting of a low-fat protein, a healthy carbohydrate, fiber, a healthy fat and a sugar-free beverage.
