RPattz post Twilight

What will happen to our golden boy after the Twilight franchise? Here's my two cents. As early as now many speculations are buzzing if Rob can "outrun", "outstand" Edward Cullen and shake his vampire character after 2010 perhaps 2011, after Breaking Dawn, the last installment has been shown. Many are also riding the wave that he is in now. All of Hollywood wanted a piece of him. Yep, Miley Cyrus called him "Robby", Jimmy Fallon has a series of Edward Cullen parody on his show, Megan Fox was on his face in the last Teen's Choice Awards, and of course you cannot discount the "bashers".
One article compared him to Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise and sees him to be eternally referred to as the perfect Edward Cullen. The Village Voice reviewer even put down his portrayal of the artist Salvador Dali as a "twitchy weirdo". Well, sad to inform you kind sirs but the late Dali is indeed a "twitchy weirdo". Rob's acting was flambuoyant, comical at times yet restrained. If you get to read articles related to Dali and even the biographies out there, you will be surprised that the great artist was exactly like that and even more since Little Ashes was about his younger and formative years. So, I would suggest that you do your homework and research on your topic more before you start riding the Robwagon. Maybe you can ride it and be positive. You can score very high with the fans, just saying.
Comparing Hamill also was kind of unfair. I grew up "crushing" on Mark Hamill (there goes my real age, lol). He was boyishly hot during the late 70's and early 80's I must admit. But the technology was too unsophisticated then. Did they tweet about where was Mark Hamill, George Lucas, and crew when they shot in Tunisia? Did the papz show up when their big bosses send them to unknown locations via SMS, blogs, where the Star Wars crew were having their martinis after a shoot. No, I don't think so. What I am saying is Rob exists in a different time. Well, he was born in 1986 , for heaven's sake. The internet was in full force before he reached school age.
Being Edward Cullen will definitely be Robert Pattinson and vice versa for years to come but for his more intelligent and sophisticated followers, and sorry to inform you but that is the majority of the Twilight/Robert Pattinson crowd. You should check out the blogs in cyberspace, these are created by legit women, young moms, matured "way beyond their years" teens, and not crazed "Tiger Beat" girls. And with the talent and "down to earth, very un-Hollywood" attitude that Rob has, I guess he would just dismiss these negative things that put him down. Why? Because he does not care. He cares more for his craft, his audience, and his personal enjoyment. That is why almost a year after Twilight reached its unbounded heights, he is still the same bloke who does not care if he wears his Stoli shirt and get photographed in it more than a dozen times, or if he wears his favorite Nike to almost all his functions around the world. (Nike must be having a blast). He is just not that "stuck up." Catherine Hardwicke and Kristen Stewart saw this and was kind enough to share with us their precious "find".
His looks maybe a hindrance for him being nominated and winning in the big acting awards( think Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt), but it is there in his future. He just got to maintain his cool attitude and train himself to be continuously be "unaffected" with all this madness surrounding him. I guess only time will tell how he would withstand all this. Only time will prove all this to be true and I bet "always on Alice' that it will be. Okay, enough. I just needed to vent that out. LOL.
